UPDATE:1 year and still cranks within the first 2-3 pulls. Probably will buy another when this one finally does bite the dust czcams.com/users/postUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX . No issues at all. Very happy with it.UPDATE: After 6 months of use and over 70 uses I would still highly recommend this pressure washer. It does vibrate a decent amount but never had it âwalkâ like others have mentioned. No oil leaks, still seems to run like the day I bought it. Still cranks within 2-3 pulls every time. Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. My only complaint would be I wish it was a little taller to make it easier to walk with it (hits my ankles a lot) and that the two hose connections were a little further apart but it hasnât caused me any issues. Seems to run a good 1-1/2-2 hrs on a full tank, overall a well built machine and definitely worth the money in my opinion.
Love this, I think you and my dad would have got along well! Reminds me of when I was younger and he would have me help him building things in the back yard and grinding with flip flops and quick patch of the wound đ€đ»
I loved what you did! Great video. Love hands on projects!

I bought a 17' used uhaul box truck and coated it with that pickup truck bed coating. After I placed everything in it, I made a vent pipe that lead from the sh tank to the outside of the truck and use the same pipe to fill the tank with sh from the outside with a pump. No spillage inside nor any fumes.

Great build. I recommend looking into Line-X spray liner to aid in the preservation of your trailers. They have great test videos on their web site. One test is an with a egg cinter blocks dropped from a roof and have Ballistic test video.
Based on the thickness can with stand chemicals and should give your trailers as well as your equipment longer life as well as aid in rust and dents basically turning them into a tank lol.
I am looking to get a setup going but have questions on whether you need a pony motor or a pump to pull the water from holding tank to the pressure washer or if you can use a downflow setup?
wow looks amazing
Thank you
nice build Mike!! have a Happy Thanksgiving
Thanks Ryan, you too!
Great video!
Thank you
I am looking into building a set up like the one you did in this video. Is it possible to run the soft wash and the power washer at the same time off of the same water tank like you have it set up here? I also would like to thank you for all of the videos that you have posted as they have been a huge amount of help.
Thanks for all the videos. Very helpful. Where do you get your titan hose reels?
+Brandon's Window Cleaning Music Some of them I buy from Southside equipment, Russ Johnson in Kentucky. I also get some locally from L & H Industrial in Savannah.
Nice work - big budget
+McKennna V thanks
Looks good, Mike! Do you ever have a need for a hot water pressure washing unit? For commercial or residential.
Thank you for all, we really don't have thank you very much, we don't really ever see a need
Nice work keep up
Thanks
Could you make a video showing exactly how everything is plumbed together? Iâm wanting to set my trailer up just like this.
Yes!
Nice job. How do you like the General Hose reels. I was thinking of getting a couple
+George A they arenât bad, Iâll be getting all my hose reels from @southeastsoftwash once they have them available
Great video!! What do you think of the general pump reels ? And are the 225 gallon tanks good on 8gpm doing flat work?
+mciverbrandon
The general pump hose reels are pretty good, and yeah the bigger the tank, the better it is.
Have you thought about spraying your metal with line x? Would think that would help dramatically with the SH?
+TheMhowi007 it would for sure
Will a drop stick work for that middle tank for soap or does soap have to be gravity fed? Thanks
On most of your set ups what size tanks do you use (water and chemical)?
Where did you get that shelf from?? Can't figure out how to get my reels above my side of the trailer
Thanks for the video. Lets say I wanted to use a cargo van instead of trailer or a truck; could it be ok? or whats the pros and cons about setup in a van?
+Blanco chemicals inside the van could be an issue unless there was some sort of barrier between the can and the cargo area. I know pest control guys do that.
Thanks for sharing
+Jake thanks
i love it
I guess if I wanted to mount a platform/box for a soft wash system onto my truck bed I'd just need to drill directly through the bed in a couple places? I was hoping to find a way to avoid that using pallets or something but then the pallets would need to be secured so we're back to square one. Is there something I'm just not thinking of? Thanks! Love the video/channel, Mike!
Question, when securing the eye bolts for water tanks, did u screw them in to wood without putting a nut to lock it below the trailer? Not critiquing just wondering if thats enough to hold those tanks? Starting a build my self and im thinking of bolting all the way through
Great channelđ
Thank you!
Good stuff
Thx
As a thought for you, you spray painted your angle iron leg to prevent rust, but you painted over rust. What you should've done is sanded down the rust (even if the metal went shiny, which you could use sand paper to roughen up enough to create a profile) then painted over it. The leg would last ling and with a profile on the leg, the paint wouldâve adhered better. Iâm not sire which paint you used, but you could get a marine paint to use and in your business it would help. May cost more up front but lasted longer and saved you more money in the end.

Thanks for the upload mate but I definitely would've stained and treated the the wood with a few gallons of varnish to promote the lifespan

Dude. Does your SH tank have a bulk head fitting to dump out? If so does the SH eat up the fittings?
+Dominick Mazzeo it has a plugged bulk head fitting - the fittings are polypropylene and are chemical resistant. I have some tanks that 20 years old that donât leak.
Where do you guys store your equipment? Is it in constant outdoor conditions?

Great video!! thanks for sharing. What side trailer you got?
The big gray trailer that is in most of the videos is a 7 x 14â. There is an 8 x 5 trailer that has a back up trailer and a 7 x 14 that is primarily used for our gas station and Restaurant routes that is done at night
@@AllAboutPressureWashing Thanks for the reply. Also, noticed you only had two hoses coming out of your "proportioner" hooked up. You're not using the middle valve? just curious
That one if got the surfactant- it has a nipple but it broke off, I replaced it but never put the soap tube back on. Need to do that! Thanks for adding ANOTHER thing to my to-do list Juan! đ€Ł

iâve seen people use IBC tanks. get them like $30-50 on Facebook marketplace
Is there an advantage to building in the trailer vs in the bed of a truck?
+Internet Guy Weâve had both and they each have their advantages. My biggest fear was always having the truck go down and then you canât work because everything is on the truck, while on a trailer, you can grab another truck and get back to work.

Why do you not hook your 12v into the battery that runs your washers? I do and it charges the battery for me as well. I just wanted to make sure I am not setting my self up for failure at some point.
You can do that but we typically will not be running the pressure washer at the same time as the 12v soft wash pump and we do not want to drain the pressure washer battery with the soft wash pump. No harm can be done, but you might end up having to charge the PW battery.

Nice set up. I'm starting my pressure washing business. I've bought all of the equipment I think I'll need. My next step is getting a trailer. I noticed alot of the guys on CZcams run utility trailers instead of enclosed trailers. We have alot of tweakers where I live so I hate the thought of all my gear out in the open. Can you think of any reasons why an enclosed trailer would not work for me for this kind of application. Thx.
I just don't like using enclosed trailers, it's just a personal preference.
Why do you need two tanks? Ik one is for soft wash but why do you need a regular water tank?
I love your hat!

Hi,
I have a few Questions:
1. when you clean roof do you use the blend manifold (proportioner system)? If so, when will you use the small batch mix container.
2. Do you have a video on how to hook up a portable gas tank to a pressure washer? That does come handy.
3. Do you see a big difference between the 5.5 gpm vs 7.0 gpm pump on the softwash system. Does the 7.0 gpm drain the battery faster?
I want to get a softwash system before spring comes.
I like your setup.
When using the soft wash system, we do use a blending manifold. The small tank is for a surfactant.
I donât have a video on that, depending on the type of pressure washer you have will determine how you hook up a auxiliary gas tank. What kind of pressure washer do you have?
We have solar panels on our batteries for the soft wash pump and we will put them on a battery charger if we donât have any jobs lined up, I have not seen a significant difference between the five and 7 gallons for battery drainage. The biggest difference is the fact that the 5 gallon per minute has less flow and letâs run off when doing roof jobs
@@AllAboutPressureWashing
Ok, got it on the blend manifold and surfactant tank.
My pressure washer is only a 4000 psi 4.0 gpm (Belt drive). It would be nice to have a portable style to fill up then over the machine. Plus large gas tank is also nice.
On the softwash pump, is it better to use the 7.0 gpm? On the 5.5 gpm did you mean less flow and less run off? Or is it more run off on the 5.5? Just confused on that one.
The more GPM - the more flow thus more run off.
@@AllAboutPressureWashing
Ok, now i understand.
Thanks
