Super sad theory about caretaker being put in potters field: his mom passed away while he was in prison and she was the only family he had, so he was left there.
It would make sense, if I am recalling the movie correctly, he doesn't really talk about her visiting him or him talking with her besides saying he will visit her when he is out. So very possible she had passed long before and it's why the only photo he has is when he was much younger. Not to mention his talk of visiting her could be talks about visiting her grave. And why they buried him in the Potters field.
@@thejesteramongfools could also argue "visit her when he gets out" sounds kinda grim if he already knows she's dead. Like he knows his only way out of there would be in death, which he would then be visiting her

Both my uncle and my husbands uncle were in prison for over 13 years for nonviolent crines and got out and passed away less than 2 years after. We love watching your videos hearing about what they endured, and being proud for their bravery. Thank you❤

Mr. Lawton, I appreciate you and what you are taking a stand for. My dad was a prison guard that was let go for refusing to beat a prisoners and instead would talk to imamates with respect to de escalate situations in the 80s. I agree with your stance for better training and pay for police and reform in our correctional system. i expect to get death threats now days for this but I accepted my mortality long ago and it makes me appreciate you even more for the stance you take.

Hey Larry in that shot with Burt Reynolds, the old guy next to him is Eddie Bunker. He was also in Reservoir Dogs and many other Hollywood movies. I mention it because he has the Title of being the youngest person to have ever been sentenced to San Quinton Prison at age 17.
