I definitely would love to see more comparisons with these two phones, but I think the Honor needs some camera updates to get the image processing right. The colors were way off on most of the reviews I've seen.

People like photos of women and some women like photos from themselves. Its a solid concept.
No one is a photographer here people want a good cam phone to shoot them and post it in online platforms.. so it makes sense when taking photos of people if you want to shoot flower objects or places better but a dslr and become a photographer

Great comparison as always, writing from my Vivo X100 Pro ❤ I think the guys in Vivo have found the perfect balance in their photo algorhitm, they look sharp but not oversharpened, contrasty but not crushed, and so damn tridimensional. If the Pro is this good, imagine whats the Pro Plus (or Ultra) will do!

OnePlus performed way better than i was expecting!!! Infact it did amazing!!! Most of the times it tried to keep everything close to reality which unfortunately doesn't gives the most eye pleasing pictures.... I prefer close to reality pictures... Just my preference....
same I also prefer the colours of oneplus, its not better than the vivo, but on every other review I have seen, people are saying that oneplus wasn't good, which doesn't make sense. I also like natural colours cuz I like clicking pictures of nature rather than people.

@@4fgaming925 yeah... I've been saying that the difference between the top flagship and the OnePlus 12's camera isn't huge... In the past the helo effect was the reason that they ruined their cameras but now it's gone.... In MKBHD's blind test, Vivo failed because of the same reason ( over exposing things)
@@Devil-ig7kl I think Vivo has the best camera of all, it does expose things a bit more but it almost never looks overexposed. Also, I think oneplus's photos of nature and scenery are better than those of people because of better colour scheme. OnePlus has focused more on what the eye would actually see, and processing is a bit lesser. Also, in low light shots, I think I don't want too much light like the vivo or samsung do, I think the light should be according the actual setting, just the details should be visible. Also, oneplus is not a camera flagship as such, more of a gaming one, and also it costs much less here in my country.

The Vivo X100 Pro is a great camera phone. The Zeiss collaboration has improved the image processing.
OnePlus 12 and Oppo Find X7 Ultra with Hasselblad branding, their camera hardware is impressive, but their software is a hit or miss.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is great in both worlds, but with some flaws.
Oppo got updates and made it better... I need to do some test again 😅😅
but the s24 ultra is also much more expensive, although yes it is the best phone money can buy rn. The updates just made the camera of oneplus and oppo better and with upcoming AI updates, I think they can get even better

One plus really stepped up their game, specially of the back cameras. For the price of the One Plus 12 this is easily the choice I would make. You can easily make the photos 10 times better with Master mode as well.
Dont really suggest to get OP 12 coz have seen people complaining the product hardware quality after purchase.

Also I liked the emerald colour on the oneplus a lot. Also, vivo IS a flagship, on the other hand, oneplus costs a bit less, so it is the real flagship killer with real innovations like the large vapour chamber, frame interpolation, gpu settings like anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering, mipmap bias, also it has hyper HDR, hyper touch response, adaptive frame booster, hyper resolution etc.

I honestly can't believe the bs she's saying at 2:57 when she says vivo is giving "not so nice yellow tone" in lights when it's giving the best HDR shot out of all. None of the other phones managed to capture the colour of the artificial light. What a waste of a review.

A lot of bias in this and "in your liking" stuff here, not actual professional results. Having used 3 of these exclusively in all viewing settings, the Oneplus keeps shocking everyone at how much better the photos and videos in general are, especially at night after the last 2 updates. We are a big Samsung family and business for many years and the Oneplus 12 is still blowing us away at the abilities and the camera performance. It molly whops the iPhone 15 Pro Max as well. Comparing it to the S24U in various shots, I was surprised that it virtually destroyed the S24U in the "majority" of shots. These aren't my personal "liking" here, they are professional facts as a business that deals with photography, motion video, graphic design for more than 40 years. I would still say, take that with a grain of salt and buy whatever makes you happy in the end. All the phones are exceptional overall tbh.
I'd love to see you do a comparison of these phones with the gcam app installed it would be really interesting.
Most of the time the reasons you give some photos lower scores are for things like over/under exposure, low/high contrast over/under saturation etc it would also be interesting to see which photos win after tweaks to correct these things in a picture editor.
Don't buy an X100 pro just yet - the X100 ultra is a few months away . . . .
I got the Oneplus 12 and Oppo Find X7 ultra with the same colors. I don't know how you can get better photos on oneplus but in my experience oppo is the best. I also got S23 ultra and it's not even close especially in 3x portrait.

Considering that OnePlus 12 is so much cheaper than the others and is the most balanced device overall, it's absolutely a steal.
I bought Vivo x100 pro about 2 weeks ago and wasn't upset for sure. Pretty much everything about that phone is great from design, OS and price to amazing Macro and Zoom. Stabilization is weak but I'd say it is rarely needed in real life.

Hi friend, great video! Tell me, does the lack of band 20 affect the signal reception quality and mobile internet speed? In Europe, band 20 is everywhere. It would be great if you could make a comparison with Oppo x7 ultra (or maybe compare several phones, including for the global versions, where band 20 is available) in terms of mobile signal quality and mobile internet speed (test with one sim card)
One of the best reviews ever. Some of your choices boil down to personal preferences. I must say I really like the vivo shots as well. But in terms of build design, aesthetics, and overall performance, I'm going to stick with what I have. Who can guess?
There are many hobby photographes who want a phone with a good camera system as a backup camera. I don't feel this test covers those people, but otherwise I love the testing concept used here. The rest is about what hobbyists consider, so if this is not you, there is no need to read further. I loved this video, by the way.
To cover those hobbyists, of course you would need to know if you can shoot in RAW on these phones. I know this is possible on the Samsung, but I don't know about the others. I would not be surprised to find out this is possible. So then there would be the ease of transferring the photos to a laptop (as Lightroom is not available on Android) and then seeing what the base data is like from each phone from which to do the work to create a finished product. This is, after all, what is happening within the software of the camera app on each phone - so such things as the wrong white balance or colour temperatures are more accurately software problems and not hardware problems. There is a reason, therefore, why so many hobbyists choose the iPhone as it's easy to switch to shooting in RAW and then Airdropping the files to a MacBook for work in Lightroom and/or Photoshop. Or, have Lightroom on the phone. This app also acts as an alternative camera app with a good "pro" mode. The files from this are native Adobe RAW files and the iOS version of Lightroom is a joy to use.
This is not an ad for the iPhone, as many Android manufacturers have woken up to this and so offer RAW and easy transfer modes (Samsung comes to mind immediately). You don't have Lightroom for Android, but there are alternatives. If you must have Lightroom (and this is the de facto standard for the majority of hobbyists) then easy transfer of files is a must - and some phones transfer files much easier than others.

I'm using the Vivo V29 5G alongside the iphone 15 and surprisingly, the portraits in getting from the vivo is way better than iphone. The zoom shots of the Vivo despite not having a telephoto, actually beats the iphone even in extreme zoom. I thought I was the only one. I used to shoot with a Canon eos 500D and none of them are accurate lol. there's a lot of processing involved. the only way for us to know who is accurate and not is to compare them all against a dslr and see who has the most natural look.
