Anxiety with texting in dating

Stop writing people off just because they don’t text you for a day, especially early in dating!!! Is leaving someone on read for 4+days appropriate? No, but it’s never just “one text” nor is that text doing anything besides quelling your anxiety and making sure you feel chosen. I get it, I used to do the same shit. If I didn’t stop this I would never have continued with my now BF. This isn’t about excusing bad behavior, it’s about managing expectations, especially of someone else’s time. Sabrina!!!! YOU ARE SUCH AN ANGEL!! This has been something I’ve been going back and forth with myself over and over and over again and to hear you say it is truly divine timing! I am so grateful for your videos! It’s so refreshing to know I’m not crazy and I’m absolutely on the right path! Accountability has never been my weakness, nor has self reflection… but this guy I’m currently dating I found myself feeling off and I would constantly have to step back like is it me? But if they don’t work for me then we just aren’t for each other. But I liked him so I wanted to bend and jump and wait and blah blah blah and it’s like woah woah woah I saw myself slowly spiraling and he did too! He called me out so many times. We decided to slow down a lottle (which feels like a lot) but since slowing down it has given me perspective and time to get back grounded. Anyways thanks so much girl!
