I got the M95 rifle and M95 carbine during their $199 sale before Christmas. 8x50 calibers. Mine took almost 3 months to arrive. They made me resend my C&R but only after I had contacted them after 3 weeks. I had just used my C&R a couple months earlier for a no4 mk1.
I really like the grain pattern on your wood. Check out the top of the buttplate and see if there is any remaining unit mark there. One of mine is marked for the Austrian 59th Infantry Regiment. If it is marked let me know what it is and I can check my Austro-Hungarian regiment roster.
Is it worth paying for hand select with this company it’s seems they get a bad reputation I been thinking of buying from them I’m not sure what are you honest thoughts thanks
Don't waste your money on hand select. The only time I would ever recommend it is if they specifically say they'll hand select a good bore (that way you can return it if you don't get one). Most companies do not define what hand select actually means (best one out of how many?) and unless you're dealing with a very highly reputable company (which RTI is not) you're likely throwing money away.
Condition was appropriate to its age and it ending up shooting fine. There are not many other places (if any) selling an M95 in the original caliber for $250, so I'm fine rolling the dice.
That is an awesome rifle! The stock is in amazing condition and the grain in the wood looks beautiful!
Thanks...hope you're doing well!

What a pain...glad you finally got them.

Thanks...unfortunately if there were any unit markings on this one they are now long gone.
Looks like Elm, So that would date it sometime in WWI because they ran out of walnut. Nice rifle!
I don’t have the M95’s in the 8x50 caliber yet . I am thinking about them . The wood stock looks good & looking forward to see how well it cleans up
Thanks 👍
USNA howdy that a good one.. the stock will clean up real nice.. hot soapy water and some DAWN a scrub brush that grain will pop. Thanks for showing.
Thanks 👍
Thx for video. I, too, got a good one like yours. I wish I could get the ammo though.
Casto's Curios sold a batch last month but it was gone in seconds.
Nice! Cant wait
Thanks for watching!
That is very nice wood, hope it turns out to be a good shooter
Me too!
Looks good. How’s the bore?
I talk about it in the video...more to come in the follow up vid.
Very cool
Thanks!

Thank you sir for the information I appreciate it thanks
Who keeps buying these guns in this poor condition? They keep selling them.
Me because I've never had a bad experience with them yet
