I have an original RC10 from the mid 80's which has served Me well. I'd love to bring it back to life, but I think it's more cost effective to buy an RB10 like this. Great video. I'd have to use a 3s LiPo as 30+ mph is awesome! It's also nice that it can be upgraded. Great value per dollar.

They actually race vintage stuff sometimes… if you get a “modern” buggy, you could most likely use ALL that stuff, and a weaker motor, 21.5t or so, and it would be very simmilar to the stock stuff from back then(full charged, HOT) but will run for 30 mins instead of 7… haha… i like to watch the vintage stuff… never got to wheel any of them…

I just can't see spending more then a 1/8 E buggy to run at our local indoor track that isn't even that nice. So I skipped the indoor carpet this year, wrenched on my outdoor stuff instead. Going to the track and experiencing what it is like, I believe it all has to do with the ability to control the car and how you set it up. I think you could take a WLtoys 104002 and maybe not a sponsored Associated driver with years of experience, but you could beat most novice drivers that have the most expensive cars at the track. Just my two cents.

Check you inner Ballstuds it should have at least one or two washer for every 1mm it has the more grip on dirt so take all the washers or spacers under the ballstuds on the rear and add 1mm on the inner ballstud up front to gain front end grip also you can add antisquat to keep the rear flatter under power or take rear toe in out it should be 3 degrees rear toe in stock 1mm antisquat stock the setup sheet will tell you if you need more info let me know I run buggy on dirt so you need about the opposite of what we try to do to gain more grip
