Just lower the volume, church, to 75-80 decibels. What's so difficult about that?

Pastor- “We’re not trying to be a rock concert”
Church - has equipment, stage, lights, and instruments to hold a Christian rock concert weekly.
Let’s call it what it is, blatant disrespect of those around you. I’m a Christian, I go to church too. But nowhere in the Bible does it mandate a Christian to worship the way they do. And they are free to choose to worship with a rock concert every week if they wish, but not when it affects the entire community around them. If that’s how they choose to worship, then be mindful of the location and proximity of your church. The neighborhood was there first, not the congregation.

I noticed the drums behind him and the stage lighting behind him also when he stated that. I believe the reality is chuch attendence is down and they are trying new ways to attract followers. While understandable, does zoning allow a nightclub or concert venue in that neighborhood? Because that is what they have become

They haven’t had any music past 10 PM. That’s too late for them to be playing loud music like that with that much bass!

I wonder why, do churches have to worship with loud music disturbing neighbors and people around. Did Jesus Christ had a mega powerful sound system?

    • @crabbinmoose8583
      @crabbinmoose8583 Před 2 lety

Yes, he had thousands of people crying out to Him following Him everywhere.
It was higher noise level than a BLM march, but people were being healed of disease and experiencing God's unconditional love for the first time, so yes it was VERY loud....but needful.
Read Luke 19 to get the full picture.

All people need to learn respect for others.
This life is to be lived courteously by ALL people.
With that said, some people will always complain about sharing this world with others and some people who think they are in the right will kill their witness and good deed with the provocation of pride and arrogance.

Without disagreeing with you, I can't be the judge of both plaintiff and defendant in this particular case.
As far as intentions go, the heart of each person involved is a secret thing, but if you can show intent to disrupt on the part of the church or intent to silence on the part of the home owners, you have been given a gift that most others besides King Solomon will never obtain.
There are at least 2 sides to any story these days and I don't trust the media version of any issue. They LIE TO YOU!

These same "neighbors" have no problem with going to other loud "festivals" and listening to other "loud" music at any other time of the day....but just not at their house?
    Hypocrites!
Bet you the whole offering plate these "good neighbors" are busy filling their lives with needless issues like this, when so many other people around them are hurting and dying... but getting relief and life through the praise and worship of God our Father! When you get a little bit of Jesus inside a church, it's hard to keep it contained within the 4 walls!
These neighbors are just angry now because they sought "peace" in a neighborhood with a church (before entering into a mortgage) and now aren't getting that version of "peace" on "Sunday morning coming down" time.
What do they think heaven will be like anyway?
These sad "rule makers" are exactly who Jesus addressed when he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives in Israel.
About 1,988 years ago the whole crowd of disciples began "joyfully to praise God in loud voices" for all the miracles they had seen and been a part of with Jesus.
    They were cheering:
“Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!”
“Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”
Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!” tell them to staaaaaaap....
To which Jesus proclaimed ***** “I TELL YOU, IF THEY KEEP QUIET, THE STONES ON THIS ROAD WILL CRY OUT.” *****
As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he cried over it, because of it's future and said, “If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace-but now it is hidden from your eyes."

Crabbin-U rvSOOO wrong! It is one thing to go to a festival for a short time, quite another to live thru that racket Fay and day out. One MUST be able to have peace and respite in the home. YOU live there and see how YOU like ur! You are ignorant and selfish-don’t tell me about Christ! You do not understand the nature of Christ!

The "pyramid" you are looking at is not one at all.
It's an arrow pointed up toward heaven.
Infact it's a very ancient (Sumerian era) and well known, until recently (computer age) symbol for man's worship of God.
The opposite version of this same triangular symbol would be the downward arrow meaning: God having fellowship with mankind or peace.
But, the current meanings of both symbols have been corrupted by those seeking to further undermine Abrahamic/Christianity and its ancient symbols, just like the use of the ancient swastika (4 powers of nature) and the cross of Saint Andrew being incorporated into a rebel flag.
Those connected with the Neo-Bavarian Global Illuminati have been dumping half-truths about their own use of ancient symbology for years now. Knowing that ignorant people will latch on to this so-called "hidden knowledge" and form conspiracy theories around false origins is part of a broader strategy to undermine once strong groups like Christianity to take control of their church's.
This undermining also goes for any other organization which can be exploited for use so that it's operatives can "hide" in plain sight.
Ephesians 5 addresses this in great detail.
You shall know them by their fruits (product's).
To understand how these deceivers operate in plain sight, study the "Hegelian Dialectic" and see how diabolical the purveyors of lies can be.
