Hey Lauren, what a culture shock going from freezing 🥶 cold to hot 🥵 weather. I’ve had that chicken salad & it’s really good I’m glad you went down the snack aisle it seems to never stop. Enjoy this nice weather & visiting your parents. 💜
It is quite a change getting everyone in swimming suits, sun screen, and shorts! The chicken salad was a good choice, everyone loved it! The snacks were never ending, I had to show restraint or we would just be snacking the whole trip!
It's lovely that you get to see your parents, with hot weather and a Sams all thrown in. I can't understand why they closed down your one because despite having a Costco they would surely do a good amount of trade. It was wonderful to see Everett out shopping with you, and all the big hugs he gave you. I hope you and the boys have a fantastic time 💞
They closed down because of shipping costs to Alaska. I miss it but I can understand why because they were never very busy. Got some amazing deals when they shut down but I get sad whenever I see the empty building.
That’s awesome that you get a chance to go to warm weather whenever you feel the need for some warmth, hope you enjoy your week.

The egg spinner looks so neat! And the eggs come out beautiful! Gas jumped 40 cents literally overnight! Yesterday it was 3.69 and this morning it is at 4.10! Crazy

Hi I shop Sam's club the most I love it I like Costco too but I noticed the same things at Sam's are 1 to 3 dollars cheaper on most things, some things are the same price ..enjoy your visit its warm there lol but probably feels good for a change ..the egg spinner looked so cute and fun for everyone 😋 enjoy your vacation with your parents
It must be Spring Break! I have never been in a Sam's Club before, I like it!! I must be craving chocolate because I can't get the giant 4 pack candy bars out of my head, the one with the Reese's Eggs & Kit-Kats...yum!

That Eggmazing kit was so cool. We loved seeing Sam's Club in Arizona. I love the restaurant supplies at Sam's Club too. I particularly love the big Aluminum Foil and Plastic wrap. I haven't been there in a while. Looks like your having a nice warm time

They are so fun and a good price too when I checked Amazon.
Watching fuel prices here in Australia as well. Currently $2 a litre, that’s nearly $8 a gallon. This increase is pushing up prices for everything especially fresh food. Plus Australia is still recovering from its second major flooding this year, which ruined not only homes but farms. We however are very lucky that we don’t have the winter temperature extremes that you have in Alaska so keeping warm is so much easier. It’s really interesting to see the difference between your food prices and ours so thank you for the tours.

Loved your tripnto Sams Club! Can't believe they closed the one in Alaska! We have Costco, Sams and BJ's. Prices here vary from store to store but still cheaper than in your area. Very to see you in Sams. I love Sams, it is or was our go to until I started watching Costco videos, then got a Costco membership last year. That egg thingy is actually pretty cool.
It was my go to before as well. I have learned to love Costco, now that it is my only option. The egg spinner has been so amazing, glad I grabbed it!
The cotton camdy grapes are very expensive but soooooo yummy and taste just like cotton candy. They are my favorite!!!!

You may be able to find them at a local farmers market cheaper. Here in Washington we can only find them at Costco or our local farmers market but everytime i see they have them i stop and get some because they are so delicious. We like them frozen also. Oh man so good!! I highly recommend them. Especially if you haven't tried them
They never last more than 2 days in our home lol

We come with empty bags to be able to bring things home but they have to be a reasonable size. With Alaska Airlines we get 2 free bags each and with all 6 of us that means a lot of bags! Only problem is fitting it all in the car with us!! HAHA thank you so much for watching!

I lived in Mesa for 2 years I miss Trader Joes,Whole Foods and In-N-Out burger.
I order from the Walmart in Kentucky. They have more different items for home and food. So I order on line. FedEx deliver

Recently moved to the Pacific Northwest and they don’t have a Sam’s Club here like back home down in the South. Sams club caters to the folks who has the little corner stores, vending machines, and restaurants. They don’t have the organic stuff like Costco.
The N. Seattle Sam's Club closed about 10 years ago, it's still empty. I think they said it was going to be another Costco which another is just two miles down the same street crazy.
You did get a deal. Sams is my store. Well, it's down the street! 😆

I miss Sam's club a lot
I have never seen inside a Sam's Club before so had no idea what it is like, it's very similar to a Costco with the bulk buys, do you need a membership to shop there? Petrol has gone up the world over, for us that was occurring prior to the current events so we cannot blame the War as we had been warned about it since January. The egg spinning kit looked great, the kids did a beautiful job on decorating the eggs. Thanks for sharing 👍
Yes you have to have a membership for Sams club, just the same as Costco. They have a lot of similar items but often have really good sale and clearance items ( that is what I miss the most). They also have a much larger snack/candy selection. I would say 5x larger. I didn’t really show that since Everett was aching for his snack. Sams club is owned by Walmart. The only thing left to take home from this trip are the egg spinners and I have an extra bag. I always bring an empty bag when I travel so I can bring a few things home!
