Ready to enter the bizarre world of these mods? Which one would you be brave enough to try out first? Got any other "Cure" ideas you'd love to see in our upcoming videos? Share your thoughts in the comments below!Happy surviving!
I recently installed the They Knew mod which spawns a very rare zombie carrying a vaccine. these mods look cool though I like the balance of the cure having lots of negative side effects.
That mod is pretty cool, but honestly, it's a bit too complex for my liking. In this video, I wanted to show you some easy-to-use mods as options. That could help you out when things get tough with your character!
I got a character survived for 1 month but i got problem you see, my base is in the train yard near louisville not a lot zombies since i cleared the place and one day i decided to go to the near by lake to watch clothes it looked hella empty not a zombie in sight but appearantly there was 1 when i skippef time luckily i didnt get bit but scratched instead so i managed to kill it and get awat but that scratch got me infected si my plan now is install that mod play another character and see if i can find that one zombie kill it and drop off the vaccine i know its cheating to do that but that character survivef for too long for a fate like that
Just don't get bit ;) I didn't know about most of these. The Only Cure seems like the only one I'd install but even then, I usually start a new playthrough before many months pass. I also started playing on 2 hour days and really enjoy it, but that means it would take twice as long IRL to be able to use the amputated limb. Most of the other ones are really cool though if you're into the RP of finding a cure!
Man, "The Only Cure" is no joke. You can truly feel all the agony your character's going through just by looking at those moodles. And the recovery from amputation takes an eternity. After all that, the prosthetics might look cool, but it's definitely a grueling journey. But I totally get it, not everyone's into cure mods since they're not a core part of what Project Zomboid is about. In fact, one of the cool things about Project Zomboid is that sense of hopelessness, knowing there's no way out, haha. But it's reassuring to have options, just in case your 4-year-old character ever gets bitten in a silly way.
@@bladiuss I personally don't think The Only Cure detracts from the hopelessness, in fact it probably adds to it - especially if you choose not to use the prosthetics.
I think a system like the one in the "They Knew" mod is quite effective if you're looking to grind and level up skills. However, in the grand scheme, I'd lean towards the introduction of a new profession, perhaps a scientist or something similar, which could gradually progress towards different levels of the cure.
Anything would make first aid better and in a game where one bite means it's over actually giving first aid something to mitigate that would actually make it worth it.
I like the idea of being immune to zombification but it's like a serious illness that's so debilitating being sick could kill you anyway. I don't like like the rest of the characteristics that come with "super-immune" though. I'll likely take this and make my own variation on it.

Just press Q. They teach that in the tutorial!
It's definitely a quicker option 😆

The RE spray seems OP.

The intro reminded me of Areans Cure series...
@Bladiuss
hey yo love the vid
you left out Zombie Virus vaccine versions by Dr Reaper and Demonius
Hey, thanks for throwing those mods into the mix. They're cool, and they were on my list, but had to trim it down for the video time.
Just don't get bit ;)

@GPantazis yeah The Only Cure is an exception. The other ones might make it too easy for a veteran survivor.
I feel like the Doctor occupation should get the cure at level 10 first aid or something like that in vanilla.
It wouldn't be lore friendly if that happened
lol no

There would be a sharp uptick in glass foot wounds
What's that music starting at 0:45? I know I heard it before somewhere...

In the house John murphy
I think it is called "In the house, In a heartbeat" from one of my all-time favorite zombie movies.

🤣
Me who's using Antibodies 👀

No I don't, I use infection off
That's a 1000 IQ move, my friend. No infection, no need for a cure! 🤷♂️
