Do 3rd party ear tips (memory foam, etc) work with the 2nd Gen Apple AirPods Pro?

- In this video I test all of the 3rd party ear tips I have with the brand new AirPods Pro 2nd generation to see if they still work and found some worked without issue while others had issues detaching. I use Airpods pro 2 on my zfold3 and the CharJen Pro active
and so far Airpods pro 2 haven't moved in my ears at all and the audio quality is more impactful at a lower volume . Finally I can enjoy my AirPods Pro 2 . So it changes the audio quality from ok to really good . I was actually enjoying my Airpods pro 2 like I enjoy my Galaxy Buds 2 Pro .
4.0 are hard to get off, but I have been able to get them off after figuring out how. It’s not a straight pull off, but I push it off by pushing on one of the sides of the tip near where it connects to the airpod.

The Comply memory foam
The comply foam tips had poor noise canceling for me so I returned those. I’ve been hesitant to try another brand, but I want to.

Hey scott, you helped me capture footage with my handycam with your tutorial a couple months back thank you so much ! but now when i capture a video it’ll be saved and cut up into multiple clips instead of one clip, how can i fix that ?
It will always be split up into clips based upon when you started and stopped recording. If you want to merge them into one long video, you'll need to use a video editing software like iMovie to put them together and then export
I don't have Airpod Pros but a different brand (Enco X2). Do you think the Comply 2.0 will work? They both have an oval shape.🤔 I hope you can answer. Thanks
I've never used that brand or even heard of them before, so unfortunately I can not say if these will work or not. I would recommend trying them and letting us know. If they don't work out you can always return them.
I use my fingernail to take off the ear tip without grabbing the actual tip and they always come off with ease. There's a little notch or small hole at each end of the tip that your nail fits well in.
Does the spin fit affect noise cancellation?
Also, is the silicone on those better than the stock Apple ones? The Apple ones fit me perfectly but start to get loose after 30 minutes. I want ear tips that don’t have that problem.
I’ve tried the comply memory foam ones but those are uncomfortable in the ear and sacrifice anc.
The SpinFit does not affect the noise cancellation, it should be the same as the stock ear tips. The fit is a little more gripper then the stock tips as well. So if you didn't like the feeling of the memory foam, then the tips from SpinFit should work well for you.
Are you sure the Spinfit CP1025 fits the Apple AirPods Pro 2nd generation? I read a negative review on Amazon that said that they aren’t compatible, which made me confused.
Is it a different Spinfit product that you need for the 2nd gen or it’s just the CP1025?
I just looked up that review and found it. The person is saying the round shape of the ear tip is affecting the sensors. I can confirm the ear tip is round and not oval, but this is nothing. Both the first and second gen AirPods come with Oval tips and the SpinFit ear tips have always been round. I have not had any issues with it blocking the senors.

Do you have a recommendation for XXSmall ear tips? On LOOP noise reduction earplugs, I have to use the smallest size available. Is there anything that is a bit more cone shaped? Many thanks!

None of these ear tips with work with the wired EarPods as they do not support any ear tips. Only the AirPods Pro 1st gen and 2nd gen support them.

Where are the extra large tips? EARTUNE FIDELITY UF-AG is the largest I have seen, but they do not fit in the case. What tips are the absolute largest possible that still fit in the case?
Yeah thats the issue, if they are too large they don't fit in the case so most manufactures make their large as big as they can without that problem.
Well now even with Charlene pro active I still have to use ear hooks as well or airpods pro 2 fall out .
Either the foam is worn out, or you need to use a larger size.
I feel my current Airpods 2 Pro (2nd Gen with Type C) does not fit properly, the biggest size of ear tips are still bit loose. Could you recommend which ones will be 'bigger' ??? than the current 'L - which is i beilive the biggest size out of the box.
I think any of the large memory foam options will "feel" bigger in your ear since the foam will expand.

@@parinmajithia9575 Are you using the silicone tips that come with the AirPods? I'm saying if you try any of third party options that are made out of memory foam (like Comply, FoamMasters, etc) they will feel larger since the foam expands vs the stock silicone tips which do not expand in your ear.

Does anything *not* pass the Apple ear tip fit test? You could probably slap some silly putty on there and still pass the test 😂
The reason cp1025 has those adapters. Because guess what, not everyone uses airpods and not everyone uses stupid apple products. Hence they supply the adapter for the apple users.
The cp1025 fits perfectly for my tws and I don't use apple product and don't stay in North America.

Many brands of earphones have the same issue and a lot of manufacturers like Comply, SpinFit, etc make ear tips for those other brands as well.
