Transparency mode is amazing. Something I’ve been wishing from headphones for a decade. I want to listen to my headphones but remain in tune with my environment. It’s such an innovation I love it

same the noise cancellation was something else but the transparency mode was more amazing it felt like i did'nt wear anything it's absolutely unbelievable

Just got the new AirPods Pro 2, followed your video, and am totally amazed at the sound quality of these things. I had a pair of the 1st gen AirPods Pro, which my cat sometimes played soccer with while they were in their case. SO I ran into the rattle problem ( sounded like gravel on heavy bass )....
Really wasn't expecting much with these new AirPods, but I was seriously blown away. The noise cancellation is almost as good as on my AirPods Max, and a lot better than on my Sony XM4 buds. Sound quality is very good, and if you're heavily invested in the Apple eco-system, these are the ones to get. Thanks for another great post Brandon !!!!

The new AirPods Pro 2 are a huge improvement over AirPods Pro 1. It connects seamlessly to the apple device I am using (much better and smoother than Gen 1). The noise cancellation is amazing (I flew from Birmingham to Bangkok via Dubai really improved my travel experience, in Bangkok I have a building site across the road (the piledriver is now silenced!). The volume control on stem takes a little bit of practice but once mastered it is so intuitive. The mic on my Gen 1 were a bit meh. The gen2 mic is a great improvement.

how do u get noise cancellation to work when u first get them ?

Best thing I can tell u is the 'touch' sensor is more like a pressure sensor. U gotta be pretty firm... I got my mrs some for Christmas and thought they were faulty until I was a bit more firm. For clarity, the fact that it needs a firm touch is potentially good, as it minimises accidentally triggering actions.
I found it extremely difficult to take a photo of my ear. Trying to get it inside the box was impossible as I couldn’t see where it was.
It took me 10 mins to get the stupid picture of my ear lol it definitely needs to be easier. Keep the phone in same position from when you scanned your face and turn your head. You can try getting near a mirror and/or better lighting as well
I found it quite easy, only took about 2 minutes
It took time for my right ear but happened within seconds for the left one. Maybe we’re doing something wrong
Had this issue as well. I found that moving my hair away from my ears helped.
I struggled too, but the following tips helped:
1. Move your head slower
2. Smaller movement of the head
2. Look to the side (moving ur eyes balls only) and check if your ear is still within the camera frame
😂 Don’t do it in public, I looked ridiculous. A middle aged lady sitting next to me gave me the stare.

Just ordered my AirPods Pro 2, and they will be arriving tomorrow. Looked at several introductory videos on how to use them, and most of them fall way short and skip through most of the things you really need to know. This video is dead on! When my AirPods arrive tomorrow I will re-watch this video with them in hand

I can’t really say for certain just how great the adaptive transparency is BUT it feels and sounds like a huge difference from the Pro 1. Again, it might be just expectancy bias, but so far these have delivered big time.
i switch between anc and transparency all the time (every 3 mins or so) depending on my environment. is this bad for the airpods ? to constantly switch?

Just got a new pair of Air Pod 2 Pro with USB C Charging - Love them. Very useful information.
He didn't mention this (surprisingly) but you do actually have to pinch/squeeze the stem of the AirPods for gestures, if you just tap, nothing will happen. They have force touch so you literally have to squeeze with a bit of force, and there's a little "click" feedback sound that lets you know it has registered. From my experience, changing the volume is the only thing that doesn't require a squeeze, you can just gently slide up or down.
I'm surprised he didn't mention anything about the fact that you gotta squeeze, not tap, and that it actually has force touch. I was so damn impressed when I tried it out

@@jaythakidd oh what?? I swear in another review I was lead to believe that the Force Touch/squeeze feature was new to APP Gen 2! But you’re right, Pro gen 1 and regular gen 3 also have Force Touch!

Thanks. Good overview. The interaction on the stem is not really a "tap" for pause, skip, etc. It's more of a "squeeze"...at least on mine.

I just bought the airpods pro 2. its amazing, by far the best noise cancellation and transparency mode in bluetooth headphones. love it. the audio quality is theatre like especially with the spatial audio turned on, im in love with these. its a bit expensive yeah... but nothing comes close to the quality of airpods pro 2.

The Airpods setting won't show unless the case is open, right?
It took me a while to figure out that the stem volume control didn’t really work until I took long, swipes before and over the flat area and then above flat area and then it worked. If you just use the flat area it won’t work as well or if not at all. I have to tell you, these are worth every penny. I can’t even wait to mow the yard again using the noise cancellation. That feature alone is worth the high dollar.

Actually, to remove the ear tips, all you have to do is find the little slit at the base of the ear tip and use your finger nail/finger tip to lift up from there and it comes off easily!

I am using AirPods Pro Edition Previous Generation. In IOS 16 Spatial Audio option is given but this feature is facing difficulty in taking measurement of my right year. New Generation AirPods has great features. I will soon get hand on it. Thank you for your lovely video.

I’ve been watching several other videos on how to replace the ear tips, and none of them said tht, so I haven’t been able to change them because I was so worried I was applying to much force and didn’t want to break them. You gave me the confidence to apply more force and I finally changed em!
Nice video! It helped me to realize that I can use my hearing aids audiogram to adjust the AirPods audio which made a difference. Out of curiosity, I put my old AirPods Pro into the AirPods Pro 2 case to see if they would fit. They do fit. I also noticed that when I did so, the AirPods Pro 2 case made a sound like a charging enabled sound. It doesn’t make that same noise when you put the AirPods Pro 2 into the AirPods Pro 2 case, it’s almost like it’s a warning sound to remind you, Hey, you put the wrong AirPods in this case.
That's exactly what it is, like at work my coworkers and I all have AirPods so if I picked up one of theirs by mistake and put it in my case it would beep at me.
I have hearing aids and I am hoping to switch back and forth - this is my first pair of AirPods and have used my audiogram and I am testing today. I am excited!
These buds are amazing! Awesome upgrade over the Gen 1 pros, but not quite on the level of other high end buds B&O EX, sennheiser TMW 3’s buttttt they are very close and these are now my favorite buds!
I’ve been on the fence between these, and the Bose QC 2’s. I tried then out and returned them as they were not much better than my old pair of Bose Soundsport Free buds. I’m going to order the AirPod pro 2’s and see if I like them! Great video!!

Glad to see BT 5.3, but of course you have to have an iPhone 14 and/or Apple Watch 8 to get the full benefit. Their previous models (iPhone 13 and lower and Watch Series 7 and lower) only support BT 5.0 (or less). That's the only reason I upgraded my Watch to 8 is to take advantage of BT 5.3, after persistent BT 5.0 issues when paired to the watch at my gym, which has horrible 2.4 GHz interference. I'm hoping the new channel negotiation feature will help eliminate the problem. We'll see.

Last time I had goor earbuds was over a year ago, Jabra elite 75t which them broke down and warranty got me new pair. After that first brake down I haven't had a single good earbuds, tried several different brands but they all had shitty battery, signal or even both. Then just few days back I thought to stop playing around and got these AirPods Pro 2 buds and fell in love. They are so much better than anything ever before. Baatterylife is phenomenal, transparency let's me hear even smallest sounds, ANC blocks traffic sounds and all other features just makes them superior to any other buds. Haven't tried adaptive transparency, since I don't know how, but I can't wait for it!

It will break though. Especially when the ear tips are older. It’s better to use your fingernail to pull one of the groves at the base. All the ear tips of my pro 1 are broken because I did it the same way as when they were newer

I've been in search of the perfect Airpod solution for a while. I loved the gen 1/2 as they fit me beautifully. I tried the Pro's and loved all the features, but they just didnt fit me well. They fell out way to easily. So, naturally I was super excited about Gen. 3's, but those were the worst fit of them all. I then went to the Beats Fit Pro, which worked decently with built in wing tips, and some 3rd party ear tips. However, still not as good as the original airpods. So, a gluten for disappointment, I picked up the new Pro's today, and I'm actually pretty intrigued. The x-small tips seem to fit me really well. I did some quick testing by running in place and shaking my head (really hope no one was looking through my office window), and they seemed to stay tight. I wont know for sure until I go to the gym later today, but I'm hopeful. I also ordered some 3rd party double flanged tips to try out as those really helped with the beats fit pro, but my hope is I wont even need them.
