How DID you do the Truescale Abaddon?
Those first company terminators look great. Having some models be a different color really adds to the army
It makes sense, seeing as how terminator armor was more widespread throughout the Legions at the time.
I believe Brakespur squad of Luna Wolves 10th Company used terminator armor.
Sorta y I love dark angels death wing as instead of the green armor it’s bone white and makes for some really excellent paint schemes
@@camostrike4395 In my opinion their old ICK Cenobium Terminators look even better than the current ones, the black goes hard with their hoods.

Very nice! I like how your conversions have mostly subtle Chaos-elements, that show a gradual development towards them becoming the Black Legion. A good example of visual storytelling.
That green colour-scheme has also made the Sons of Horus my favourite of the Heresy-era Legions, partly because it makes them look more like an exaggerated real-world army. They also appear more like they could be used as a space-military in other sci-fi settings.
Love Tortuga Bay's stuff, nice to see them in your army. Plus you've made the best legion choice too!

It'd be interesting to see Falkus Kibre, who was both a subordinate captain to Abaddon in the Justaerin and a founding member of the Black Legion. He seems to have pulled a Kharn and just refused to die.

On another note, would love to see some battle reports on the channel. Not as a shift to the core focus of the channel, but just occasionally. Would be a great way to show off your projects and also help people get familiar with new rules systems without having to just read a big old book!

love what you've done with these... I got my box when it came out and killteam has taken over from getting to it but I was going a loyalist path with them and doing good old Luna Wolves for those who painted their armour back to the original colours...

Nice army! That Land Raider design is however even older than you said, the Land Raider was one of the first 2 plastic vehicle kits for 40k (I can't remember off the top of my head if it or the original Rhino, now reimagined as the Deimos Pattern Rhino, came first), and it originally came out in 1988 or 1989.

Some of them haven’t been weathered fully yet, but i do a pretty subtle weathering when i do. Just enough to make them look a little more detailed

Finally some Abaddon love! He’s a really compelling villain. He reminds me of Zod from Man of Steel, just a relentless warrior of mind and might.
Somehow I had a different Raid Shadow Legends commercial play out. The first marine says "brother, have you heard of Raid Shadow Legends?". The second turns and shoots the first point blank in the face with his bolter and says "No." End scene.

I haven't read a rulebook for a GW product since 3rd Edition 40k. I use CZcams videos (there are some good series on how to play and battle reports) as well as trial and error. Sure we make a lot of mistakes, but that was going to happen anyway because who can remember every rule, every time? No one

Do you think you'll ever do a video on the Slapchop painting style? I think you might have fun trying it/ experimenting with it.
Its not really my cup of tea. When i use transparent paints like contrast paints i prefer to do it over a solid white undercoat to maintain as much saturation as possible and then add shadows later with washes and shading if i feel like the model needs it. I haven’t personally got results i love from slapchop- the shadows end up too muddy and desaturated

I was having weird glitches everytime i exported it with the backgrounds i had. So i just removed all the keying all together. This isnt the first time ive had this issue but it doesnt happen everytime. Weird. I am making a nice background to film in front of for future videos. I am fed up lol

I love it. I think the hull points and vehicle damage system is way more fun than just chipping away at wounds and i also really like the AP system
@@EricsHobbyWorkshop nice, yeah I have been working on my Alpha Legion loyalists, haven't got them on the table, yet, though.
I like the granularity for having vehicle facings matter, having damage to vehicles that knock off weapons and immobilize them. I miss that about 40k as well, for that matter.
