  • In today's video, I am sharing my experiencing using Naturium's products for 4 months. I did an unboxing/first impressions video in June and I have finished these bottles. So what happened to my acne-prone skin over the past 4 months using the Naturium Niacinamide, Vitamin C, and Retinol?

      LOVE the niacinamide + zinc serum from Naturium. It’s really changed my skin. I’ve also started using their Vitamin C Super Serum Plus (the black packaging, not coral) and the Retinol serum. They’re all amazing! And the pumps are incredible for application control too.

    I've been using the Vitamin C Super Serum Plus and I noticed a change in my skin after a month but then I got impatient and started to use Differin and 10% BP. That was a terrible idea. I'm back on the Naturium product and I love it! My sister has used the Niacinamide and she is glowing! Also, one more thing, I believe they are shipping internationally very soon! They are changing some products to EU standards and responded on a product that they will have limited stock on shipping to Canada from Amazon. Sorry for the long post, I really appreciate these reviews! 💞

If its for hyperpigmentation specifically (and from your history having acne before) Azelaic acid or alpha arbutin would be great options. Brands like The Ordinary, Inkey List and Naturium have both that are great fragrance-free options.

    Thank you so much for this in-depth, honest review. Your skin looks gorgeous.
    I just started the Naturium niacinamide zinc serum (previously using The Ordinary) because it just recently came to my Target and I have the mandelic acid on it's way. However I am nervous about trying the retinol or vitamin c because I use a benzoyl peroxide wash once a day. I don't want to use too many actives and stress out my skin, but I'm also scared of stopping BP to try vitamin c or retinol. I don't want to backtrack since I've gotten my skin pretty decent, but I hate how BP discolours fabrics.

      @fammyadesina4327 Před 3 lety +1

      Hiyaaa. You can try using salicylic acid instead of BP. It's less harsh and it can be paired with vitamin C. As for retinol, I'm not sure. Hope it helped

    I tried a couple products from this line to start with a couple weeks ago. The alpha arbutin essence and the super vitamin c serum.....and whoa, within 2 days, my pores have shrunken and my skin is so smooth and almost zero acne. I really was impressed. It all started with watching Dr Alexis Stephens videos up here about what acids work and what ingredients not to mix together. So I wanted to start small and see if I saw any changes. I have sorta sensitive skin so I was nervous, but I honestly am so happy with how I look without makeup on (I have a lot of hyperpigmentation and texture and noticeable pores....well used to 😜. The hyperpigmentation is fading slowly but I see a slight change with that too!) I just purchased the cleanser (the mixed greens one) to see how that works for me.

    i bought a couple of their products but only been using the vitamin c super serum plus and so far i think i am liking it. no huge change on my skin just yet but at least my skin has been a bit more stable. (knock on wood). I started using the Versed Retinol couple of months ago and i think i am on the very last of it and have purged/still purging a bit from it. I have the Naturium retinol serum as my next product and i am so scared that i will have to go through another purging. when i wasnt that big on skin care i would say my face has been smooth. pimples here and there but after using actives and most especially retinol, this is the most that i have seen my face wtih marks and breaking out/purging. I am really hoping that when i start using the naturium retinol, that i am not gonna go through another purging season again.

    • @itsLakishaa
      @itsLakishaa  Před 3 lety +3

      I hear you, it can be so heartbreaking to see your skin breaking out because of actives. Retinol unfortunately is one of those products that you will purge from depending on how often you use it, and how strong it is. If the Naturium one is not as strong as the Versed you may not get any crazy purging. I'd say expect something though. Please let me know how it goes for you.

      Retinol is supposed to make you breakout/ purge. This is because your skin cells are turning over very fast.
