- Okay, something a little different today. More fast paced and frantic, I cut to the nitty gritty on the whole Hasbro Marvel Legends Deadpool Sauron Wave. I couldn't decide which to review first so to hell with it, all of them it is.

I really like this wave! My biggest gripe is the articulation on X-23 Wolverine. You'd think one of the requirements of any Wolverine figure is the ability to crouch but no chance of that here. Hasbro really needs to step it up with their female sculpts.

Hasbro took over on 2007, and it took nearly a decade before we saw decent figures from them...theyve been great in the past 3-4 yrs but not before..I think Toybiz deserves credit for their figures, despite the technology 15 yrs ago.

Madcap was in Deadpool’s head in the comics and if memory serves (which it probably doesn’t and I’m remembering it completely wrong) madcap takes over occasionally? But that’s why madcaps head is included.

I'm the one guy who's selling Sauron and X-23 Wolverine. Sauron looks amazing, but good god- the wing span is massive! Even for storage. And with my me trying to find reasons to spend less and make space/rearrange- besides being a cool character design, I have little attachment to him. X23 Wolverine looks cool, but I don't think I *need* her in every costume. I'm good with the X-Force look. But yeah, one thing that bugs me is the unpainted grenades on Boxer Shorts Deadpool. I wanted 2 or 3- but now I can wait until it's cheaper/on sale. Almost makes me want to grab a black sharpie and do something with those brown grenades... but yeah, as much as I love Wade, Hasbro needs to step it up with the color/weapons or chill out unless we get a movie DP.

I do have the Amazing Spiderman Lizard figure and the torso tends to get loose. And an easy fix I have for that is simply give it a turn but with some pressure, somehow that helps to tighten the joint.

Morph mod is a must for that Mad Cap head. I'd love to see that when it's done.
I took the mad cap head and hat and put it on a batroc body and gave him a grim reaper cape. It's not perfectly comic accurate to mad cap, but it's pretty cool for a weird little kitbash

The Fwoosh do it man! I love my new mad cap figure haha. I gave him that weird red lazer gun that came with mandroid red skull and Sharon Carter as his bubble gun he uses in the comics
I need that Sauron, but I don't want most of this wave. Wolverine, Bishop, and MAYBE Omega Red are the only ones i'm interested in. I wish Hasbro would sell figures with and without BAF pieces, and then the actual BAF separately for those who don't want the entire wave.
Great review I like these whole wave reviews, that Sauron looks amazing as does red and Bishop, the Sauron kept making me think of Conan fighting a Terordactile, then I started thinking man I realy want a Conan wave , THEN I STARTED THINKING MARVEL OWNS CONAN AGAIN ,!!!! Come ooooonnnn marvel

The Omega Red body looks like it's the Wolverine Body scaled up without the calf swivel
It's definitely the same sculptor but there are some differences here and there like muscle placement and shape. But it's really close.
I would love 90s storm to have this optional Lady Deadpool ponytail head sculpt...
So ready to get my hands on my preorder from GameStop for this wave!!
I like the way deadpool has the new head on the picture on the back of the box but the figure comes with the old head

Oh, damn. I kinda want to get that X-23 to use the unmasked head for a Talia Al-Ghul. I feel like it'd be pretty great for that.

Nice review Robo! Yeah I think the Spidey Lizard had that same problem with the mid section looseness. That Bishop is so 90s it hurts, Lol. can't wait to see who else they use the Omega Red body for.
I know, I always get excited at the possibilities of a new body. And half of my wants is redos for figures we already got, haha. Sabretooth and Venom would have ruled on this body.

The Fwoosh haha yeah I don’t blame you, I’m sure there was a lot of extra unused footage left out. Why did you like the editing more this time?
No pictures, and I kept myself on a time limit with each one. I usually end up with about 45 minutes of footage and around 75 pictures (including doubles) that I cut down to about 15 minutes. I did have about 45 here but most of it was me opening the packages so I sliced right through that.
The Fwoosh nice! Well I appreciate the good blend of information and comedy that you provide without repetition, while also maintaining that friendly tone, as if you personally know and care about your viewers.
I also thought about a morph figure using the madcap head. Probably will end up making one since I wil most likely never use this face
Yeah, if it comes down to displaying it as either Morph or Madcap, it's going to be Morph.
Enjoyed the overview of the whole wave. Yeah, I don't remember watching the 90's cartoon either or reading the comics for that matter but at some point became aware of the Jim Lee designs. And now I want a shelf of just them. What the hell is wrong with me?
I'm right there with ya. I fell out of comics around the fourth issue of Lee's run, and was "too adult" when the cartoon was on. Yet here I am, hoping to finish up that team.

Now that Disney owns X-Men and F4 again I would really love them to do a 10th anniversary-ish line with old movies. I'd love the old X trilogy figures, I'd love Days of Future Past figures, and I'd like figures from the old F4 movies because I loved the suit design.
I still like that old Sue figure from the first movies, and the Reed too. But yeah, we need some "Fox Movie Classics" or something, but I figure we're more likely to see new stuff from whatever Disney cooks up for them.
At 10:25 the bishop on the right looks like he would be played awesomely by terry crews but you got to admit that casting would be awesome although he was in deadpool2 but that would be awesome
I got a good idea for a custom use lady Deadpool and take the hair out and swap it with the hair from the heist nebula figure
The Sauron figure is Amazing. X-23 like you pointed out needed much better paint apps. A lot of the figures have been suffering from big time lolipop syndrome and I have had to dremel deeper holes.
I want Sauron but I haven't bought anything but a few pieces essential characters from the wave because most of these characters are just not worth it, especially on the resale market.

Headpool became headpool when he traveled to earth 616 so if you wanted to it would work on a normal Deadpool body
Seems weird as hell that those boot cuffs don't come glued already, that can't be a floating piece they are just part of the boot.
I think in the long run, I kind of prefer them to be loose and I glue them where I want them rather than a factory glue them in the wrong spot or coming already glued and I want to use the body for something else. Unglued is the less invasive option.

Their paint is slipping big-time. It was extremely difficult for me to track down a Songbird that didn't have a lot of slop on the chest. And I'm seeing some real nastiness here.
The only thing I hate about Deadpool figures is the ones with the hand with the pinky out you could make them do a dr evil impression
X-Men suit Deadpool was my first Marvel Legends figure then I got Carnage from the Venom wave and then my godmother got me Venomized Deadpool

the x23’s thigh paint being super misaligned is really strange... also the yellows not being the same. they should just always cast everything in yellow, because yellow paint never covers well.
They did that because the knee joints are blue, and paint doesn't hold up on pegs at all.

Haha, yeah, I get some weird looks sometimes. My nostalgic favorite is Outback but if I could have any era in action figure form I'd go Astonishing. Or Giant Size. And I need Excalibur.
@@TheFwoosh Outback was definitely the best team line-up! Any of those eras would be a welcome addition if Hasbro would Legend-ify the rest of them. "Cat" Beast desperately needs a redo and it blows my mind we still don't have a classic Storm.
Omega Red & Lady Deadpool are my favs. They shouldve gave her her own guns, swords, & scabbard but whatever. I wish these figures were more consistent with the quality. Some of the female bodys are terrible (Psylocke) while some work (Lady Wolverine/Rogue). Sabretooth & Venom shouldve had the body Omega Red has as well. Maybe next generation there will be a nice line of figures that match perfectly with the comic versions.

Someone further down in the comments suggested pushing the torso together and twisting, and it worked. Kinda. It tightens it up a little bit but not super sturdy.

My female Wolvie has an issue with the toe claws staying in. IMO the Deadpools from this wave were un-needed. Lady Deadpool wouldn't be so bad if her bewbs were correct for the body.
That said, as I have stated in other video reviews....Sauron might be my favorite BAF if you don't include the Giant sized Toy Biz ones. I consider my Apoc, Galactus, Giant Man and Sentinel to be an entirely different class of toy from an every day Marvel Legends.
Yeah, those big BaFs are still gems than have a special place on the shelves. And it's been a long time since I've been called a pup, I appreciate that, haha.
