  • In this video I made the strongest LEGO safe in attempt to create an indestructible LEGO safe to then drop until it cracks open. This is the part 2 or sequel to my original video where I unsuccessfully made an indestructible safe. Throughout the video I'll show you how to make a LEGO safe as I make mine with durability as the top priority in mine. Will my LEGO safe break? Or will it withstand the drop test?

Now this Safe has to be one of the best LEGO safes in the world. If each of those pieces were made out of metal, I bet it could handle a 20ft drop no problem

@@RainbowBrick thank you so much! Yeah I’d definitely call this a success, not much more I could do when peices start breaking 😂

I'm pretty impressed with how well this did! A few notes I have on the design: The bits that are rotated to keep ti locked, while potentially not an immediate issue, will definitely become one, as those T-connectors are pretty notorious for being brittle(I own about twice as many broken ones as I do intact ones, so around 40. Newer ones are supposedly better but I don't think the are perfect. A liftarm would be a much better choice. Same goes with 1/2 thick liftarms and technic pieces that have an axle hole mount with (a) pin hole(s) along a different axis. The walls of the safe could also be improved with internal liftarms going vertically along, connected with pins along the length. The thickness of the walls isn't really a problem, it is the flexability.vertically.
I don't mean this as a critique BTW, I just wanted to share my own knowledge and experience.

@@justsomeguy5628 thank you! I make these projects to show my experience with them and always ask for and welcome feedback! You’re definitely right about the T-connectors although I had 2 beams behind them so they couldn’t bend much keeping them from breaking. If I had to do over I would absolutely implement vertical technic supports in the walls but the wrap around bands did a decent job holding it all together until those pieces broke 😂

Good job on making it so much more robust than the last one. But a bummer so many of your pieces broke!

part 3 with metal pieces? nah im kidding
you know you hit that milestone when the point of failure is the material of lego itself

Aw jeez great design but too bad the pieces themselves broke, great video though I respect the grind (staying up until 4 am isn’t easy or fun lol)
