From a Florida fan. This series, even though it was 3-1 FL at one time, could have gone either way. I can imagine how heart breaking the loss is for the Bruins, but this was a hard fought series and you guys earned my respect. Good luck next year!!!
No, it wouldn't have. This version of the BB was a money thing. In fact, they made more money on more playoff games this year and lost most of them. They patched it together this year with several $1M per players and now they pick 4,5, and 6 in the draft. Nothing happening here. Perhaps, the biggest disappointment was not being tough enough. And that starts with the coach. They didn't like the last guy who was too strict. But, again, it's the money. They made more in playoff revenues than they did last year. Meh...

It could not have gone either way. If the series was 100 games, panthers would’ve won about 80. Bruins are trash

After losing two Legends to retirement, everyone wrote of the B's.March stepping up as Captain and setting the tone during the season was huge. Hopefully he comes back for multiple years

The Bruins did the best they could with the lack of salary cap. Everyone wrote them off before the season.
I hate to defend Don Sweeney because this is 100% on him (and Monty should absolutely not be fired), but this was a reasonably good outcome considering the lack of centre depth and salary cap and draft capital going into the season.

If the bruins want to be competitive and win possibly a Stanley cup don Sweeney has to go for the sake and make better moves otherwise bruins won't they will keep doing this and going nowhere definitely need some goalscorers and yes hopefully top people in the draft but I don't trust don Sweeney though hopefully get rid of him and get someone better

As a Pens fan I was pulling for the Bruins. My cousin was the chef for them and passed away. The respect and love that team showed for him is amazing. As we get older watching: you start to appreciate players like Marchand and Ovie. Though you hate them, you gotta love them.
As a Pens fan, Sam Bennett has become my favorite non-Pittsburgh player after the way he gave Marchand some of his own medicine.

Full respect to Boston, but Leafs should be kicking themselves on not being able to beat them. Boston was very beatable this year as Florida demonstrated, and Leafs still managed to screw it up.

Lucky fla had official help and Bennet didnt get suspended as he should have / everyone knows Bruins got hosed. Bruins would have been up 3 games to 2 had officials made right calls and league made the right decisions.

Calling Mr. Slue Foot Marchand "classy" is like calling Lizzo "svelte."
Once the Bruins committed to some physicality and competing for the puck, they were hard to handle. The Panthers had the better roster. These playoffs were a coming out party for Swayman and Lohrei. Sway is a stud. They don't get by the Leaves without thin. Lohrei is good and hopefully the best is to come with him. The B's had too many players for whom hitting and physicality were not a big part of their mindset. Within that, they were tasked with increasing their physicality and were not good at it. They have some big players but they don't play big. They need an increase in size up front. No more of this under 6 feet Oscar Steen, Boqvist, Anthony Richard stuff. Put a bruising fourth line together. Get Marchand who at 36 is still an effective player and the rest of the skill guys some protection. The bridge year is done. The Bruins are projected to have over$21 million in cap space this offseason after having less than $5 million last year. The B's have holes to fill on the roster. Management should be watching what Sweeney does with it.

The team exceeded expectations this year...let's face it...yes, it was there for the taking this series, yet if as B's fans we are really honest, we need horses on the offense and the defense has to be much more stern and composed to make a run at the Cup. Good news is that next year the team has more the 21M in cap space plus the cap going up 4 to 5 million (as expected) has the making of a new faster and stronger Bruins 3.0...I would resign JDB, he was great in this series...he added value and was the top scorer.

Bruins overpassed their way out this series. Shoot the Puck must be stressed next season…Go Bruins! Stanley Cup playoffs are Boston. When Bruins unfortunately are eliminated the interest just isn’t there…Gonna hook up the air conditioner over the weekend and wait for October when Bruins Hockey returns and Hockey is worth following…

Our players are only good in regular season. We have players that cant rise under pressure. Disappointing.
Need to be more disciplined and not take stupid penalties especially too many men. Scoring one goal at home in an elimination game is pretty sad. Need to get some offense, Maroon didn't do much, need some secondary scoring. At least we beat the Laughs!
Bruins gave up on the play that basically ended the series. Anybody with a functioning brain knee it was over after Game 4.

Bruins have nothing to be ashamed of. Effort was phenomenal, they just got beat by a better team. Don Sweeney and Cam Neely need to look at this roster. Winning in the Playoffs needs to be the goal. This team needs more intensity and toughness. Far too many soft players as your top 12 or so.
