Excuse me, im argentinian and i must say that a lot of information of the video is wrong. For example you said that "The most popular recipe of empanadas are dessert empanadas", and thats totally wrong bc theese are the less popular. The most popular are "Criollas or Salteñas". Also "LAMB ASADO" is the less popular asado, before you said that you must know that we have more cows than human population so our prefered meat is bovine, our bovine meat and milk is first class. The lamb is only popular in the south because that region cant have cows but sheep.

Thanks for your comment. These are researched in the perspective of tourists and their reviews, so it may not be the same for locals. For example in my country, what tourists always recommend to each other are different from what the locals always eat. :)

Dessert Empanadas? Did you drink before writing this? Most popular are Beef, most likely of the knife-cut variety. Another mistake is on the Milanesas entry is called "Milanesa a la Napolitana" not "La napolitana"

Gerardo, I’ve been having the same discussion with an Austrian colleague of mine for years. :)
An historian found a reference to “veal in bread” in a document of 1148 AD and it is likely that this dish became a ‘shared’ heritage during the Austrian occupation of northern Italy in the 18th/19th centuries.
In any case there are differences between the Austrian vs Italian version (veal/pork/bone/flour/spices..) so we can be flexible and just enjoy the dish.
It is a surprise that in Argentina they use beef, but food always adapts and evolves, luckily for us. 😊
