I have been on stage with Jeff Civillico and I can't name a more entertaining, consummate speaking professional. had to laugh at the 10:05 mark, definitely know what he means.... I tutored this kid for a while and she asked how long I'd been married, (it had been a year) then she said oh so you're 24? BECAUSE HER MOM GOT MARRIED AT 23 and she just assumed that's when everyone got married it was so cute omg

This message hit home for me. Action causes influence, not intention. The homage Jeff pays to his childhood hero is so incredible. I, too, saw my first street performer on vacation with my family in Boston - a magician! Jeff's talk makes me want to find him and thank him. We all have the power to influence others in a meaningful way.

What an amazing path you've taken Jeff! I love that you've never lost sight of where it all started and that you've recreated that same experience for so many people. The idea that we can all be influencers in our own world is such a simple one, yet the effects can be widely impactful.
@tammie-helmick thank you! Yea, it's funny to me that Peter and I had our "moment" years before being "an influencer" was even a thing! You don't need a big following to have a platform. We ALL have a platform- as a parent, sibling, teacher, friend, neighbor, employer, employee, etc.

Matt, I had an outstanding Orientation Advisor in college who really impressed, impacted, and assisted me in my transition from active duty Air Force life to dorm life in college...He was a great guy from Philly, and he was in the Georgetown Chimes (a male a cappella group). Anyway, Jeff reminds me of that guy from way back then!

I believe we've known each other for a couple years now. I knew the Peter Panic story from creating your slide decks, but the story of the boy and the hat brought me to tears in this talk. Wow! I think it's really cool that all of this came from a random run-in with a street performer but I daresay, judging from Jeff's energy and bravado, that was always his path. He's just lucky to have been shown it so early on.

yeah absolutely, like I doubt Peter Panic realized how "influential" he was being as a kids performer but the way he inspired Jeff and everything that has led to has made a huge impact. It's really cool to think about
The reminder to focus on what we CAN do rather than what we can't is so powerful. It's easy to get bogged down by limitations, but we all have the ability to make a difference in our own unique way.

The Power of the Ripple! So true! We never know how many people we impact by being servant leaders or Ambassadors of Kindness, but it makes a huge diference. As my co-founder in "Together we Can Change the World" Jana Stanfield reminds us, "I can not do all the good that the world needs, but the world needs all the good that I can do!

I saw Jeff on a Disney cruise in 2012, and enjoyed his show so much I made a point of seeing him in Vegas in 2017 or 2018 - glad I got there before he ended his run. His energy and desire really motivate me to do more with what I have. Great message in this one. Thanks Jeff.

It's wild to think about how a random encounter with a street performer could completely alter the trajectory of someone's life. It really makes you appreciate the power of seizing opportunities when they come your way.
I really liked his vulnerability in sharing his struggles and doubts along the way. It makes his success feel that much more earned and meaningful.
