I started losing my hair at 18. 35 now and have been shaving my head for over 10 years. To this day, I still miss my hair.
Hi, try hair transplant
And also try tricovit, minoxidil, finesteriod, plasma, mesotheraphy, colagene, biotine, oil for hair, special shampoo
That was the magic formula that cured my alopecia

It's hard at young age. Doing zero buzz cut for 15 years. But tbh I remember getting annoyed with my longer hair especially in wind, so if there would be suddenly a magical pill that would give back my full hair, I would still have a near zero buzz cut or very short cut with a clipper.

Hair cloning is hands down the most exciting thing happening in this industry in the coming years
I’ve been waiting on this for a decade but yeah, this is the final solution to the balding question
Hasn't this been rumoured for years now but doesn't seem any closer to actually happening

I've been hearing that a hair loss cure was just around the corner since I was 16 years old and I'm 65 so let's not get too excited
As soon as someone is mentioning Dutasteride or Finasteride, it doesn't matter what they say they're doing besides that. If you're using let's say Dutasteride and laser therapy, you can't really say that you kept your hair because of anything else other than Dutasteride, because it most likely represents 99,9% of the effect.
So happy you are reviewing Bryan’s hair therapy.
Dr Gary has such a soothing voice. This channel is like ASMR for balding men :)
Yes very. In fact it’s really why I watch: his voice.i don’t know hardly anything about hair loss but when plugs came out a few men I know got them. I cannot lie, all of my coworkers giggled behind their back, they looked so silly. And all mutually agreed that personality, intellect and sense of humor matter more than hair in a man. But I know men don’t think this but listen, those guys with plugs we knew weren’t a bit nicer, smarter or better company with those unsightly visible plugs!

Hairstylist here - he 100 percent just colored his hair, the color looks extremely fake and he still has some staining on the scalp. 15 years into this career, I can spot color, transplants, extensions, wigs. His colorist is doing him dirty. That color does not exist naturally without more dimension of tone.
Definitely. the hair color looks so fake and bad
I am NOT a hairstylist but really appreciate and value your opinion. I also think he’s colored his hair and see that dye staining.
I watched one of his videos before, he doesn’t deny colouring his hair and eyebrows at all. He does it so that the grey hair doesn’t show (he’s still working on how to prevent grey hairs) hehe
however, i agree that the colour could look more natural
He has a CZcams short while getting his hair colored from a woman, discussing with her his gray hair slightly reversing in areas.
I’m not a hairstylist and I don’t play one on TV but I noticed the color and thought “Gee that doesn’t look quite right. On top of everything else I bet he colors it too.” Thank you for the confirmation.
Dr Gary you look awesome! I can clearly see youe eyelashes in this video! Your treatment is going so well it seems
Hi Dr. Gary, I hope you know you're awesome and an inspiration.
appreciate the honesty and the info. Makes me an even stronger proponent of the buzzcut/shaved head for me.
I started losing my hair in my 50’s and I’m 61 now. I still have a fair bit up front, but the crown is almost all gone with multiple random hairs that are still there. It’s all gray now and I wished it would just turn white. I got fed up trying stuff that didn’t work and just said screw it.
I keep it extremely short on the sides and just comb it straight back on top. If you don’t go around acting like it bothers you, 99.9% of other folks could care less that you’re going bald in the first place. I’m so old now that if they do come out with some “cure” in the future, I’ll be so much older then that as a really old man, who cares or better yet, what chicks are going to be looking at me in the first place. They don’t now anyway. My college days are long gone.
Merry Christmas everybody!
If your hairloss only started in your 50s dude congrats, you won the genetic lottery.
@shrex592
Thank you for the kind words, but don’t be misled. I still look a severely balding guy now.

If you read his actual blog, you'll see he uses dutasteride mesotherapy - this is the key and I have NO idea why no one is talking about it. It is essentially THE preventative cure for hairloss in men, and partially regenerative on miniaturised hairs. I also do it and it works without any side effects because of the molecular weight meaning it barely goes systemic.
Dht is a poison not only for hair, you should reduce dht on ur body too
Without side effects? It can give you irreversible impotence……
@Dan-zs8pk Maybe you didn't understand that last part? It isn't absorbed systemically, which means it can not have the same side effects that it would if he were taking it in pill form.
@@Dan-zs8pk It is not systemically absorbed in any meaningful measure due to the molecular weight, small dosages spread of over time, and depth of mesotherapy needle. Not sure why I'm repeating myself because you obviously didn't read or process what I wrote.
@@Sam-by3kkhow much does it cost and how often do you have to get it?

it´s crazy how genes work. most of my friends started growing a beard when they were 16 years old. now we´re all in our 30s and one friend is bold, others are starting to lose their hair while I just started growing my beard a couple of years ago.
the specific hormone in testosteron that makes people lose hair in the head is the same that dictates the growth of your beard. so it's more likely that people with more beard will have more hair loss. but some people have a big beard with a lot of the testosterone but the hair pholicules don't assimilate the hormone so they can have a big beard and keep the hair.

Hi Gary, i know there is some data on dutasteride with mesotherapy but not so much with topical use... I have seen some Indian researchers in a webinar who claim it is absorbed better than minox. Do you reckon topical use of dutasteride will be an effective option in near future ?

Female hair loss: PRP really helped my areata patches. Baby hairs came in v quickly. However, it barely did anything for the androgenetic areas.
I found the injections one of the most unbearable, painful experience (and I have a high tolerance) even when I tried to use Emla numbing cream. It was an ‘aesthetic’ clinic but the type that seems more about profit than service.
I later had a couple of steroid jabs for a new areata patch. It worked, but much more slowly. And it was a nicer clinic so the injections didn’t hurt as they used a better system.
I had areata like 2,3 patches i had terrible hairloss idk why out of nowhere,i started to take VITD and biotin obv, then rosemary twice a week,my androgenic areas didnt grow back but i can say it stopped,as my hairloss was fast asf, areata grew out after some random oil suggested by a ayurveda doctor

Well, this is not accurate. This topic cant be described throught molecular weight only. Other factors must be taken in consideration
maybe because you get almost none of it in your system lol
Dut doesn't penetrate scalp tho.
@@coreygold8538 maybe some, but if it doesnt go systemic then that means not enough of it is getting through the scalp. Topicals do go systemic and you want them to, otherwise it indicates little benefit. Many times going the topical route is just a peace of mind for people who are paranoid about side effects, even though they are just as likely to get side effects from topical
What others factors? I’m curious to learn more.
Brian hair is still very thin. He put hair dye out of a box on it and then puffs it up attempting to make it appear thicker than it is. looks ridiculous!!
Better than being bald.
I was adamite about using A-Cell with PRP after seeing before and after videos from a NY Dr. My before and after photos of my transplant exceed my expectations. But theirs no way to know....Was it just the transplant? Was is the Transplant + PRP? Transplant with PRP +Acell??? Only way to know for sure is to go back in time and not do PRP with the transplant ect...
Gary, I use a red light device which exposes the entire body to red light (called the "beauty angel") at planet fitness, could this have the same effect as a red light cap for hair growth/loss? I ask, because the lasers aren't in as close of proximity to the scalp while inside the device. It's like a tanning bed, but red light.
Will be taking a deep dive into red light machines in general one day soon.
@@drgarylinkov And what about the red light district? 😁😁
@@drgarylinkov Looking forward to it.
I’m really happy that I don’t care much about my hair lost, and don’t loose time and money on that problem. I came to that state of mind when I understood I liked many people with not much hair while some with hair can be total ah. I concluded a beaming personality doesn’t rely on how much hair you have. So I choose build my personality elsewhere than in my hair.
you can have a beeming personality with hair. Also I'm sure some bald people are AH too. Well done on focussing on your personality though.
Fair play to you. I started thinning in places due to dermatitis and scratching, not naturally. Just reading the side effects and potential long term side effects of the drugs. I don't think it's worth it. It's bloody depressing all the same. PRP sounds ideal, but the price is ridiculous.
Good for you. There are two ways of fighting this. Either accept it or take medication/hair transplant. No point staying in a limbo.
Cope
From the thumbnail I thought he was gonna talk about our boy Pellek
Gary in the nicest possible way i hope your wrong about hair cloning. I hope those trials make a major breakthrough.
Does a laser hair cap promote hair growth?
It's stimulates it. It might regrow hair but most likely, will just cause hair to grow in thicker. Which is good for areas where you have thinning hair but not full bald spots
No!
It increases blood flow and definitely grows back hairs in less problematic areas. Widow peaks are hard to bring back due to how long ago the hair died off.
Is this from personal experience?
Does dut mesotherapy cause side effects. Anyone on hear have sides from fin but atwitched to dut meso and experience zero sides? Cant seem to find much feedback
Hairline recession can also happen in women due to tension alopecia (eg. wearing too tight ponytails)
