Finally, two Western vloggers who decided not to jump on the bandwagon of featuring scary-looking Filipino food just to get people to click on their memes! That's refreshing! For example, the sight of Western vloggers cringing at eating balut is so passe and has worn thin on many Filipino subscribers through the years. You two showing we Filipinos (and the world) that there are actually good quality vegan restos in the Philippines is a blessing! Our feelings? Relieved and enlightened! Maraming salamat!
Agree. Actually there is a British couple who are click baiters. The guy was so cocky. I unsubscribe them even if I’m living in the UK for almost two decades. Can’t stand with that kind of attitude.
Its very good to mix in a food and travel vlog. Because it matters to me that you are enjoying your food weather filipino or something else. Take care.
Wow! Thank you for this video. It's true that the Philippines has a lot of meat dishes. But I hope the Philippines will have more vegetarian and vegan options for those that do not eat meat.

As you can notice our cuisines have some similarities with latin foods because they have adobo and bistec too but they're totally different. Our food tho is a fusion of Malay, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, Spanish and American cuisines.
I assure you Filipino foods are ONE OF THE MOST DELICIOUS DISH in the entire world! I am proud of our culture and dish!! I am so.delighted that it is only now in this era that people of the world recognize our food. It is also promoting our culture! There is a lot more filipino food that are very delicious! Believe me. Love from North Philippines.
Awesome and delicious looking food abd thank God for the new Smell-a-vision app I can smell the food 😋 😆 🤣 😂. BTW, I love fir you guys to mention when you adventure if the establishment(s) accepts cash only or cards, thus might be helpful in planning trips for others.
That's a very good point, we will do that 😃. Very very few places in the Philippines accept card at all, even less than Thailand I would say. But they have something called GCash which is available in quite a lot of establishments and allows you to send money electronically directly to the merchant. Hope that helps 🙂
As someone already commented here, kudos to you guys for taking a unique approach to Filipino food, highlighting the fact the Pinoys can also do excellent Vegan. Although I'm not vegan myself, I do appreciate the benefits of being vegan - to each his own, right? But thanks for taking a different approach than the typical European-eating-balut or being amazed at adobo flavor. This is the first time I've seen European vloggers appreciating vegan cuisine. More power to you guys and please continue to distinguish yourself from the crowd!
You guys are discovering stuff that any Filipino food lovers haven't discovered yet. Sort of Filipino food explorers. It's on my list now when we visit Philippines 🇵🇭. Watching from SF CA USA 🇺🇲. 👌
Yes you are right, sisig is a mixture of all the Goodness of Taste . .. And the Texture is so nice as well as the smell is so enviting . Enjoy Filipino Foods ..
You're right about the flavors of our food .. we colonized by Spain for more than 350 years . colonized by America and Japan and as Asian country we mix those flavors from our colonizer . And that's what we got ..
Thank you for sharing this! I just recently visited The Philippines from Canada and I can't wait to go back! I was only there for a month and didn't have enough time to explore Bohol, which I really wanted to. I'm definitely gonna check out this place on my next visit :-) Safe travels you two!!!
That's correct, Adam! You have to have rice with adobo. Filipino dishes are a bit on the salty side because they are meant to be eaten with rice. Happy meals, you two!
Wow.. In behalf of the Filipinos.. We are honoured that you really enjoyed our variety of foods.. Next time you visit Philippine's lets meet up and i will cook more Filipino dishes with a twist.. God Bless and take care..
When I think of Filipino food, what I crave for is halo halo. Since I'm not in the Philippines, I'm happy for those that tried the fast food version, local and high end hotel version. It seems different regions have different mixture and toppings. But, they all look delicious.
There are a lot of vegan food in the Phils that uses real veggies..it’s not just famous as the meat variants coz we Filipinos are really meat and seafood eaters😅 and also since we love our meat we also put meat in our veggie meals😅 Most of our vegan food are stir fried veggies and assorted veggie salad with vinaigrette..
Sisig is can be partnered with rice but it's more like a beer food for me. Traditionaly Sisig is supposed to be sizzling hot and with poach egg on top. The gravy of the chickeny deep fried mushrooms is that of liver sauce. Adobo is said to be the National dish of the Philippines and it has lots of variations. It can be chicken, pork, tofu, vegetables etc. It's an authentic Filipino dish it's just that the Spaniards called it adobo because it's similar to their dish. The difference tho is that it has soysauce innit. I suggest that you try Sinigang because it was voted as the best soup dish in the world.
@@dandeleon3304 I guess mayonnaise is an alternative for egg. To say na sumama ang lasa is going too far otherwise hindi magiging successful ang "Sisig Hooray" because it now has many branches

Glad you guys got a little bit out of your comfort zone and discovered something you liked. If it's really that good, I might actually consider following up on my vegan lifestyle.
You guys are a great couple. This is first time vegan mukbang made me hungry. A couple of vegan dishes to try . lumpiang sariwa doused in peanut sauce. And also hard to find...ginatang kalabasa....which is pumpkin and other veggies in coconut milk sauce...great to eat with rice. And lastly.....laing which is taro leaves also in coconut sauce and has to be eaten with rice.
Banana cue is made from our cooking variety of banana called "saba" or the "karnaba" vaitety. I love the banana cue made from almost over ripe bananas.
I am vegetarian... you have to try vegan Caldereta... I can't tell the difference from the real thing. I had to ask 3 times if it was really 100% vegan. The most authentic Filipino vegan dish I've tried and crave. you can usually find it being sold in the Makati and bgc outdoor/sunday markets. Filipino vegan food might have a better chance to become the next big culinary rage more so than the original meat versions.
Philippines is one of the richest seafood after local crops most likely one of exporter abroad and you have a hundred of choices to find here in seaside resto or dampa just beside the seafood market and love it how filipino flavored cook it ,i suggest to try one of my favorite there is shrimp in garlic butter, grilled mussels with garlic cheese and adobo on green chili baby squid .
