      Hey Harrison,
      We have plans to do a walkthrough video for the Edge 52mm, but it’s not scheduled to be filmed until maybe mid to end of Sept.
      Did you watch the video from Aussie Arvos where Patrick installed the Dual Boost & EGT plus the Water Temp?
      Also welcome to shoot us an email and ask for a copy of the manual, that runs over everything in detail as well.

      Hi Alexandros, Thank-you for the message. No, Generally its best to follow the guide lines we put together in this video (and instructions) for successful installs + Spartan and Sensor longevity.

    The kit comes with a pod for the gauge, which is a really loose fit. What's the recommended procedure for fitting the gauge to the pod? Kit has a bag with 3 screws and 2 strips of foam, but they are sticky on both sides.

      Call or Direct message us on our Facebook page, we should be able to assist you further (send through some photos). There are one of 2x foam styles tapes that have been included depending on the age of your purchase. We have a Gauge mounting video as a work InProgress at the moment.
      Thank-you

    Is it absolutely necessary to ground them to the chassis and block? What would happen if I grounded them to my headunit wiring. On the Spartan 3 lite manual it doesn't give any recommendations for terminal 2 ground but for terminal 4 it says chassis and no mention of the block so could I do that also? Thanks

    • @JustRaceParts
      @JustRaceParts  Před rokem +1

      YES it is the BEST practice to do so if you want to take advantage of ACCURATE Spartan AFR readings. Part of the Spartans design architecture does indeed have a ground offset used to stabilise the data readings. Please avoid using a grounds off a head unit/ sound systems! This will lead to unexpected readings from electrical interferences. Terminal 2 is best to ground off ecu ground.
      Feel free to call or email Just Race Parts for more info. :)

    • @JustRaceParts
      @JustRaceParts  Před rokem +1

      Thanks for the message, Your best off emailing or calling through for more accurate information. Spartan 3 Can has been used with Haltech products and can be custom programmed.
      Older ECU's and data loggers can also work with the analog 0-5v linear output.

    Hey, is there a cable in the kit to connect the O2 sensor to this ecu? Nothing is said about that in this video. Cheers.

    • @JustRaceParts
      @JustRaceParts  Před 2 lety +1

      Terminal 6 is used to connect to gauges, ecu's, dataloggers. It's the same for all, just run a wire from terminal 6. If running to a gauge and ecu, single wire from terminal 6 and then have it join to each wire running off to gauge / ecu etc.

    • @Oscar-eb5rc
      @Oscar-eb5rc Před 2 lety

      @@JustRaceParts Thanks for that. But I meant: the connection from the O2-sensor (located in the exhaust) to the Spartan 3 ecu. It's not clear for me if that cable (loom) is provided with this kit. Cheers.

    • @JustRaceParts
      @JustRaceParts  Před 2 lety +1

      @@Oscar-eb5rc All of the Spartan 3 kits we sell come with an 02 sensor, and also a cable that connects from the Spartan wideband controller itself to the supplied 02 sensor. You can only use the 02 sensors provided with the kits, you don't use any 02 sensors that are installed prior to using the Spartan.
      Any other questions feel free to email us. ;)

      They are on pre-order, shoot us an email and asked to be added to the pre-order list. They are selling out before the shipments even arrive, so best to get added to the list so you can secure a unit from the next shipment due in around 6-8 weeks from now. ;)

    • @JustRaceParts

      That’s because the manual that is supplied with the Spartan 3 runs over that. This video was more of a guide to help people better understand the manual by seeing what connects where and just give a visual to the manual.
