- On this Monster Tales Ed Edmunds of Distortions Unlimited and Oscar winning artist Bob Short talk about the Don Post Bloody Werewolf mask that Bob sculpted for Don Post Studios in the 70's and its influence on Ed and Distortions Unlimited. Ed bought the Bloody Werewolf to enter a costume contest with it at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley and lost to someone dressed in a mask Ed had made. This loss propelled Ed to keep making more masks and Distortions Unlimited was born.
Don Post Studios is a very important part of the history of latex Halloween masks!
Robert Short is credited for work on the SFX and make up for a number of projects and movies including Beetlejuice, Star Trek, E.T., Splash, The Punisher and more.

Very descriptive story. I guess I will just try to imagine what that mask looked like. A picture would have been helpful.
