Adrian Newey has just talked about Red Bull's RB20 progress and what to expect for the new regulations. According to him it's not looking good for F1. And at the same time he talked about how Red Bull is a sitting duck right now, as they seem to be done upgrading their current concept, leaving them vulnerable to Ferrari's or perhaps even McLaren’s comeback.

Why don't all the teams just buy Tesla's and wrap them with their team colors?
What a joke! Is there anything we can enjoy without being preached too about climate change?

Imagine that the dynamics of the new powertrains make F1 cars slower than the current F2 cars.. .....

Agreed, similar to spent nuclear fuel conundrum, what and where are the batteries from these battery-powered cars Tesla and every car manufacturer that is now delving in battery-powered cars. It's not the solution, especially for F1. That's why there is already an "E" series daaaa

social responsibility ? make too many changes too quickly will negate all the safety improvements . environmentalism gone so far off the rails they might as well just cancel f1 and remember the real race cars .

Red Bull are going to struggle from 2026 imo.
Building your own engine is a massive undertaking.
The chances they will hit the jackpot first time is surely very slim.
All other engine builders have a massive advantage over them

Ford is their partner; remember the last time Ford was in F1 under Jaguar branding? It wasn't pretty.

@Mr18000rpm What do you mean? It wasnt terrible. Stewart Ford won a race and I think a few podiums with the ford engine in the back. As I recall, it went down hill when Ford took over the whole team, but that's not what is happening here.
Previous to that, ford made the most successful f1 engine in history!
So Ford as an engine supplier has a decent track record. Not sure why you're slating them

Not really. These engines are nothing like commercial engines. It's a specialist field. They have the money to do it. Who will execute best is yet to be determined but I bet they are in the ballpark.
