I don't care what anyone says in my mind this is canon
Thank you so much! We're honored to see this comment
Technically this doesn't contradict canon in anyway at all
@@evildrporkchop4628 Story wise, for us, we like to think this took place right before E4. Saves us from having Triple 0 and BT-1 making this rated R lol
I agree this is canon to me as well
#truestory Literally left me wanting more!!!
So basically this is Predator: Star Wars except the Predator wins
maybe..... yes... but also... maybe.... ;)

Yeah pretty much
You know you've done something right when your 16 minute short film is better than a 3 part sequel trilogy.
Dude, freaking Barney and Friends is better than the Sequel Trilogy. It's not hard, rofl.
@@ephgm comparing it with barney is dishonoring his name! At least compare it to phase 4 of mcu 🤣
The old guy from dancing from the six flags commercials was better then the prequels and the dumb Disney reboot sequels.

Bossk looked SO SO SO good holy shit!!!
Eyyyy Benny noice to see you here
Now, we need a Boba fett one!
Strange, I thought the de aging job they did on Jesse Ventura was spot on.
Much better than in a new hope well then again they had limits to what they could do at the time so yea
That Bossk suit is incredible. Like jaw dropping incredible.
Came here from Star Wars Explained!
The original outfit was used in the DR Who series ! Dr Who whore it, Lucas used it in the Empie Strikes back. screenrant.com/star-wars-bossk-doctor-who-recycled-costume/
@@olivierfaber8478 (whispering) "Wore!" ;-)
SERIOUSLY. The epic reveal of Bossk was just perfect, too. The FX, makeup, and costume design was off the chain.
@@Olsenator Some scenes are with the puppet some are CGI.
Ok, so Predator influence is great, the Bossk suit is greater, and this whole freakin film is a masterpiece, but is anyone else noticing the absolute *PERFECT* casting for a certain Doctor?! :) You guys are incredible. PLEASE give us more!
Omg you are so sweet! Thank you for the kind words! 🥰
That's right, your Doctor Aphra character is just a pure perfection! ❤️
Great to see Aphra in LA❤🤓😎✌🏻
Lol I came in comment to see if any else thought something
Really a perfect Dr. Aphra cast! All well done 👍 Don't know if Disney has a Death Sticks Problem, they absolutely didn't nailed it, even for unter 12 parsec...
This fan movie is outgunning anything that Lucasfilm can dish out currently. It’s so freaking professional.
This wasn’t influenced by Predator at all!
Ikr
He’s actually influenced by lizards
djses he’s talking about the story not bossk
It's the other way. Its still a galaxy long time ago , so predator was inspired by this
Predator: "I want my space lawyer."
Whoever played the Zabrak was WONDERFUL.
Alexis Louder is wonderful!! =)
Agree. Make-up and costumes and set and weapon design also. Mind-blowing.

This just tells me that a Bossk series is what I want! And it also tells me that there's so many talented people capable of bringing it to life! Great work!
Thank you very much for your kind words, @kold
Wow... I was not prepared for how real Bossk looks in this. Well done!
Almost any fan film I see, I see it as canon.
This is one of them.
To see Bossk being such a badass outside of Clone Wars was amazing!
ive been dying to see a live film adaptation of bossk and even now with book of boba fett out im not even sure theyre adding him in
All he does in live-action is just stand around.
Bossk to Boba: "Whata Matter. Jabba has you pushing too many pencils."
The fact that it's basically an homage to Predator makes this film even better!
I love this and how it had that predator vibe. While I’m not a fan of Doctor Aphra (Vader really wanted to kill her), the actress did a good job. Oh what the hell am I saying? The whole cast did a good job! I can consider this canon cause disney can’t do crap right these days.
Thank you for your kind words!
So good to see an Aphra role! Finally! She’s the character live action films need. The Bossk suit was phenomenal and the throwback to Predator was intentional of course and well done.
Thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching and loving Aphra as much as we do!
The touches of Predator are seriously so well done. Even the outro credit scenes!
I thought the predator instantly
Touches, more like punches and roundhouse kicks.
"Touches"? more like extreme rip off
Theres no reason this can't fit into the cannon
We are seriously honored by the Canon comments! Thank you so much!

Yes, finally! A fan-filmmaker with enough confidence in their ability as to not overly use shakycam! It’s about time
"Only the Hunt matters" Oh, how i miss Skekmal from the Dark Crystal...
like what bossk thinks only the hunt matters and unlike most bounty hunters he thinks credits are worth nothing
Finally some live action Bossk. Wish he was in it more but the fact that this was like a star wars version of predator is still cool. It combines two of my favourite franchises with one of my favourite star wars characters. Those rebels got Bossked. Also just want to say that's the best bossk suit I've seen made other than the one in empire strikes back. How was Bossks voice done because it's spot on
Thank you so much Oliver! That was all the actor doing the inflection. Lots of studying of the battlefront 2 game to get the sounds right.
@@TheRoamingRoman that's awesome

This really feels like a live-action Doctor Aphra comic. Excellent writing. And that Bossk costume looked better than some of the stuff in the Mandalorian! Really impressive!
Glad you liked it! 🥰
The only problem was Courtney Chen's acting was horrible.
Incredible work! Really solid across the board! Definitely one of the best Star Wars Fan Films out there!
Thanks for your kind words!

Wow, really disappointed with this. Tried too hard to be Predator and the acting was really bad.
Its a shame because the effects for Bossk where fantastic, these fans actually could have done something truly cool. Oh well.

Bossk is basically the Predator of the Star Wars universe!
Well done with this video!
This is where Star Wars belongs, in the hands of true fans. Y'all did an AMAZING job w/ this, seeing Aphra was a hell yeah moment and Bossk was badass!
So glad you enjoyed it!
Nicolas, Wow thank you for that compliment! We're honored.
Disney are true fans and what they have done and continue to do with Star Wars has been universally praised by fans and critics asked across the board, however my favorite Star Wars films and media are the originals and the Old Republic Era. This is such a great film that captures the essence of Star Wars, it's not all about the Skywalkers
I was already feeling this was gonna be great, but as soon as I saw Doctor Aphra I was like "LET'S GOOOOO"
Oh, and just so you know, y'all got Aphra and Bossk's looks on POINT

This is an AWESOME Star Wars fan film! It's filmed so well, has great costumes and locations, and tells an exciting story! I also love the inspiration from Predator (1987)! Great job, and I look forward to seeing more!
Is no one gonna talk about the Wookiee skin? Literal chills.
"Why does it always have to be in the forest?"

Outstanding video, I love how much passion went into this without taking itself so seriously that it deprived us of that bit of camp every star wars movie needs. The director obviously knew what he was doing, and hats off to the actors and costume department too.

@@TheActionActress big fan of Star Wars and big fan of the first Predator movie. Also enjoy all the good work in this one
Someone loves Star Wars and Predator!
Bossk and the Trandoshans are the greatest thing in Star Wars. The way they feel fleshed out and powerful, but still remain as miniscule pieces of lore.
I always liked Bossk the best nice to see him get something cool.
What an excellent fan produced film, and certainly the best "live action" depiction of Bossk ever produced, not to mention the most screen time in a single film as well! Having built one of the most screen accurate, and longest used Bossk impressions in the 501st Legion (and the one which the late Alan Harris acclaimed was "the best Bossk"), I must concede there is now a "better Bossk" as seen in this film! What was paticularly impressive was the smooth mouth action and blinking eyes, which suggest either a very sophisticated mask, or done through the "magic" of CGI. This is really good enough to be developed into a longer film, and I hope this team will consider doing this. Bravo, Creative Force Films!
Hey Dan, thank you so much for the kind words. This mask was developed using both practical effects (full jaw movement) and compositing the eyes to blink. We have plans to make more!
@@CreativeForceFilms more bossk?

@@CreativeForceFilms if you do something on boba and bossk im full onboard. The aphra is kinda wack tho, ngl. Nevertheless I hope lucasfilm sees this, this costume design is unmatched.
The Predator vibe works so perfectly for Bossk, the tension and suspense were amazing. I also loved that Battlefront was clearly an inspiration, with the blaster sounds taken directly from the game and all of Bossk’s abilities used!
Heck yeah! Thank you for the kind words and we'll see you on the Battlefront! ;)

Star Wars Explained brought me here, and dude - this fan film is epic! Great to see characters like Bossk and Aphra (!) in live action, they deserved that for a while. And that line at the end...perfect. Hopefully we see Bossk (and maybe Aphra? And would it be too much to ask for Black Krrsantan and/or Beilert Valance as well 😅?!) making an apperance in The Book of Boba Fett. You guys showed that it could work in a great way. Definetely looking forward for Part 2 and 3!

Those millitary officers sure maintained their compose in a fire fight. Can't believe in a life or death fire fight, and dude wasn't even breathing hard and nary a single drop of adrenaline coursed in their veins. In fact, at the end the Major is talking nice and normal when he said, "See if any civilians need our help...this place wasn't always Imperial". I've said it time and time again... This is by far the BEST Star Wars fan film out there, in my opinion. From the score, to the costume design and of course, Bossk himself. A really, really solid piece across the board. The inspiration from Predator is very apparent and I didn't think I'd be able to like the fact that Dac had a standard hat on, but then again, Cad Bane wears a cowboy hat, so anything goes!
You should honestly be so proud of this. I feel proud watching it!
wow! Thank you so much for your kind words!
The McTeirnan touches really stand out, I love it. Putting Aphra in sort of the Anna role is genuinely inspired. One of the more unique Star Wars fan films I can remember. Even little touches like the blaster sounds being in line with what they are in the Battlefront games goes along way in selling the Star Wars-yness of the whole thing. Huge props to all involved. Can’t wait to see what y’all do next
