"I don't know Chewie, just turn it on! " I could swear that was Harrison Ford if I didn't know better
9:39
I thought the same thing!
Yeah! Dead on, like that line was gold.
Yeah for real
Just aim it at the cage!...Awesome. Sounded just like him.
If Harrison Ford and Kurt Russell and Robin Williams all had a baby together
ew
And how exactly would they be able to do that you fetish freak?
kenpoarniceguy1 Its fucking weird
i was literally thinking the exact same thing
Well I mean Kurt Russell did audition to be Han Solo
the composer is really good at capturing that old feel without copy-write infringement
I like the idea that he used a trick to pull his lightsaber back instead of being a force sensitive 👌🏼
han solo, clever as always.
I like that it was a trick because Han is resourceful enough, but also I could see that it could have been a legit one off that blurred between attuned and sensitive, maybe the magnet hadn't been turned on the first time, but because Han doesn't like to put stock in The Force he just shrugs it off and reinforces its all his own trickery.
@@wielderofspoons I like to think Han is force sensitive, but he keeps it hidden from everyone including Luke and Leia, he doesn’t want to rely on the force, he rather use guns and tricks to fight and that’s completely on Han’s character to do that, in fact, if I was in the Star Wars universe I would rather be a Mandalorian than a Jedi, why? Simple, Jedi have to be checking their emotions constantly, if they get a little angry they instantly become Dark Side users and Siths, meanwhile if you are a mandalorian you don’t have to do such thing, you can just kill whatever or whoever you want without going full Sith Lord, maybe Han learned that from Luke so he kept his force sensitivity hidden from him, it would explain his insane piloting abilities, it’s the force guiding him, it would also explain his insane luck and plot armor, remember Jar Jar and his insane luck? Yeah, Han gets out of situations most people would be screwed in
Survived being shot at by armies of storm trooper like 3 or 4 times maybe more
He always feels there is something wrong before anything happens
He has insane piloting skills even better than trained pilots
Hit Boba Fett while being blind and then shot a tentacle while being blind too
Found Luke in middle of a snow storm
Shot a trooper without even looking in ep7
Became a Ghost in Ep9
I agree, that's so Solo
@@Juanma_Cardona0725 If he had that ability how come he didn't realize it was a trap when he met up with Lando in Empire Strikes Back? He would have known but then again the movie would have been ruined 🤔
When I saw Han "using the force" I was like "Nah, fuck this shit!" but I'm glad I watched until the end.
it's just a magnet. Han shows Chewie at the end how he did it. Man, Disney should have cast Jaime Costa as young Han Solo for their Han Solo Star Wars Story movie. He is really great as Han in this short fan film.
Danny Friar Same
You should have seen it coming a mile away
Danny Friar Han Solo said "hockey religions and some tricks are nothing agains a gun gun kid"
Danny Friar it was obvious it was a trick.. Han is a sneaky snake so sneaky even the dude in the video saw it coming. ha
Great job Jamie. Had me fully engaged. Part 2!!
Star Wars Theory I'm subscribed to you XD
Thanks!!! That means a lot :)
Jamie Costa loved it
Jamie Costa better then Disney
Just earned yourself aneother sub.
Well done Jamie!!
3 years later and I'm still wondering why they DIDNT HIRE YOU TO PLAY IN SOLO
YESSSS!!!! Thank youu
EXACTLY
exactly what I thought!
Same!!
@Gordy Skymop unfortunately true. Never understood that desicion, because: A CHARAKTER spin-off only works with a great CHARAKTER portrait. Oh well...
This put a smile on my face. Felt like the old movies. You played Han so well. Thanks guys.
Very few people can pull off ham solo but this man dose it perfectly
HAM Solo? Shouldn't he be doing a team-up with Jek PORKins?
ham solo xD
oh my God this is a pretty cool fan film it's not cringie at all
Just wait till Chewbroccoli hears of this!
Maddog11sk, Agree!
When I first heard about the Solo movie I was almost certain they found and picked you for the part. When I saw who they really picked I was honestly really disappointed.
You really capture that Harrison Ford attitude and look, and I love it.
Agreed
idk i kinda liked aldan (cantrememberlastname) this was good but...han solo with the force?
@@adaml1463
Hienriech?
He didn't use the force!
Someone didn't watch this a whole short ;) You should know what Han thinks of the force before meeting the Skywalkers Adam AGT
Jesus Christ how was this kid NOT found and cast as Han in the movie?!? He's perfect!
Anyway, great film! Really well done and wish there was more! 👽👍
Um...because they had way better options, for one the guy who did play Han and a far more suitable alternate would've been Anthony Ingruber.
theMasterChiefRules Ingruber would’ve been my pick for sure. He literally played young Harrison Ford in a movie. His impression is INSANE.
@@solvemproblerstudios5889 Well... but still... this guy makes it perfectly.... almost... (almost? he needs more facial playing, more "faces", so to say... but he's rreally good!)
Zdzichu S. Oh yeah, Jamie is amazing, but yeah- he needs a slightly better “Ford Face” with the big frown, smushed features, exaggerated Growl, and Sheepish smile that have all become so iconic.
@@theMasterChiefRules They didn’t have better options idiot. And no, this guy is the better option.
I'm actually amazed at how well this kid nailed Han Solo's personality.
This honestly gives me the original trilogy vibes and it’s amazing
The interactions with Han and chewie kill me, I wish we got that in the force awakens more
ItsAllGood my thoughts exactly. made me tear up in the end
Leia should have hugged Chewie. Anything else is bullshit.
Thank you to remind me that abomination...
what are you talking about, we got their interaction and shown their friendship in 4,5 and 6
That line at the end "no im not a jedi" was the most Han Solo delivery in the whole video! The voice was so spot on... its perfect. I can't wait for the Kenobi fan film!
I was worried when he "used the force" but those worries were quickly put to rest. That's exactly what Han would have done! excellent work!
I was so bummed when I found out you weren't cast in the film. This was great, remarkable job Jamie.
Azerrz Hey nice to see you here; are you and Jamie going to a collaboration anytime soon?
Tank Dempsey Way to ruin it
i hope that Han Solo film will have somthing like this in it.
Thanks man :)
Eddie Pringle Do you have to be a Debbie downer? Can I not voice my thoughts on CZcams? Oh and btw, nice job liking your own comment
9:38 was a perfect Harrison Ford
Yeeeessss I came here to say this, glad I wasn't the only one
Yeah, I was convinced it was Harrison Ford at that point!
Derrick Rose
as much as I don't wanna be "that guy", that was the ONLY part where thought "hey that's pretty good".
The rest was underwhelming
Derrick Rose so did the ' yeh yeh ' around 6.05
Yeah it sounded just like him
Who else is here after watching kenobi
I got to hand it to the youtube algorythm, lately it's been really good at picking out great videos that has gone under my radar.
Omg Kenobi was too good.
I am
This was good, but Kenobi was great!
I am :)
fun fact, the guy that plays Gyorsho is Doug Jones, who plays Saru in the new Star Trek: Discovery...
@Greg Elchert Not familiar with him, but yeah, did a fine job here.
Really?? Awesome! There’s one episode Saru is displayed as a human... I thought he was familiar to me! Thanks for clearing that up.
Is it weird that I was more excited to see him than the guy in Kenobi?
@@davincent98 no shame in that! James Arnold Taylor is amazing of course, but he of course moving in Star Wars cycles. Jones also appeared in many fan-films, however he less associated with the franchise.
@@bencebotye3904 thanks. I couldn't remember his name; also I haven't seen much of TCW
The score and the sound mixing really put this fan film over the top.
Well done.
Jack McCall A million times better than Rogue One's "soundtrack", and perhaps even Force Awakens' in terms of recording quality.
This dude just said the track in this was better than the work of John Williams
starwarsjunkie7777 I have to disagree Rogue One has an amazing score by an amazing composer.
Force Awakens soundtrack was terrible compared to what we saw in the past from Williams in originals and in prequels. Rogue One soundtrack was more or less a remix of John Williams' soundtracks, so its more about where the music is placed and how it is mixed up. Some scenes- it's okay- others- it's awesome.
a Darth Revan reference?! dude! This would be an incredible tv show, just solo and chewie kicking ass in the galaxy playing with priceless artifacts and shooting bad guys. I wish it was longer but that is a small thing with the quality being so high. ( cgi needs work but I know you did this on a budget. ) amazing job man.
I agree
incredible content, only CGI is lacking
Nice catch ;)
Solo and Chewie playing with priceless artifacts and shooting bad guys? Sounds a bit like Indiana Jones in Space... I like it!
That Girl Nope, I'm a big Kotor fan and I'd know that mask anywhere.
:)
10:25 Seeing Han and Chewie hug just warms my soul
Han Solo wielding a lightsaber is one of the best things I’ve ever seen.
No that just seems wrong
@@FlixAndJams yes but he doesn't use it in a fight
holy shit, you actually look like young Harrison Ford
Sound like him too
Nawe19 Mix with Robin Williams lol
9:39-9:47 is the most “Harrison Ford” bit in here!
It is true
You have spoken.
Gave me goosebumps, fr brings memories
😳👍
They should have chosen this guy for Han Solo
If Jamie worked for Disney he'd have to suck the corporate dick. And his likeness, everything would become corporate property. In my honest opinion I believe Star wars should remain alive in the skills of independent film makers. Doing it for love not profit. Instead of buying a movie ticket, 'like' the film, subscribe to your favourites or visit their patreon.
@@mrdemoncrusher3927 Absolutely correct assessment. We've seen what happens to independent quality products when brought and bought under the egotistically driven clutches of profit driven butt wipes. I am sorry I don't have the necessary capital to put behind tremendously talented people like Mr. Costa and Star Wars Theory. But the empire of Disney is a force to be reckoned with.
Its been four years and I still think you killed it playing Han here!
He looks like a cross between Robin Williams and Harrison Ford
LOL! I thought the same thing!!
With a bit of Kurt Russell thrown in
He really does!
You should see his Robin Williams impressions. They’re scary spot on!
Holy shit! This is the dude that does the Robin Williams impressions and he's really good at them. Talented man hopefully has a future in Hollywood.
This was actually really enjoyable. As someone that normally can't stand "fan-made films" but loves the Star Wars EU I thought this was great.
Try the darth Maul fan film. It's actually really good
the darth maul one was pretty good

And now star wars theory's fan film!
I’ll admit that as a child of the 70s/80s, while I was stunned by your portrayal of Robin Williams, I saw this one and was immediately a pre-teen again, drooling over Han Solo.
Literally every comment is saying that they should have cast him as solo
He must have a lot of friends lol. He looks just like Robin Williams, nothing like Harrison
Eric Ross Anthony Ingruber should've been Han
@@theMasterChiefRules I agree with you there
Literally you are wrong... but I literally agree.
This feels waaaaaaaaay more like an older star wars film. Fans make way better ones then Walt Disney.
Carlos Mojica
Walt Disney is dead
Giant Purple Gingerbread Alien Twin do yourself a favor and don't pay to see the movie. Watch it online for free. Lucasfilm (not Disney) don't care about the franchise or the fans, only money and their political agendas.
The only way to make them change is to hit them where it hurts.
Giant Purple Gingerbread Alien Twin trust me, the anger goes to Kathleen Kennedy, Ron and Alden don't have the fault here, its all on her. She needs to go.
Giant Purple Gingerbread Alien Twin we are a lot of people, the comunity is growing. BTW, you should check Ivan Ortega's channel, he is editing TLJ and fixing it entirely, he is a proffesional editor, and he will fix the movies as they come, so there is still hope in the Galaxy!
GamingBrad ....did someone say hope?
Great visuals, great pacing, awesome performance, this is what a Han Solo spin-off movie should be !
Jamie does Han's mannerisms and phrasing quite well. Good job.
This and the Kenobi film are excellent. You really capture Solo exceptionally well the whole vibe is true to Original character. Outstanding.
According to this, Han Solo has been wearing the same clothes for 40 years.
He must be one of those guys who finds and outfit he likes, then buys 20 of those outfits.
Gerrit Uniform?
Dead probably
Astto yul
Astto yuk
This film has more heart and soul than any of the new movies. Love it
I am honestly amazed by how consistently you manage to perfectly capture the Star Wars characters you play in these films
This is who should've played Young Han Solo in "SOLO"
No Anthony ingruber should have gotten the role
Mr Bojangle exactly!
I feel like anyone can impersonate someone else, it’s much more harder to capture the acting part, I like these short films but as far as the acting and dialogue it can be better. Look wise and approach I agree he is better but I think the solo we got did better than we give him credit for
I'm really hoping Harrison Ford sees this somehow
I'm sure he will, once he catches wind of it.
Ion Racer I know. Ford's obligated to be Han Solo for the rest of his life. How dare he not limit himself to one role for 40 years, so you can be happy?
Which one Han Solo or Indiana Jones both roles he played for over 40 years. 8P
He actually hasn't played either for forty years. Star Wars came out in 1977 (close to forty) and Raiders came out in '81.
From what I read Raiders started filming around 79/80 using alot of the same Tunesian desert as a back drop for both Raiders and A New Hope.
Anyone else find it funny that fans are doing better jobs with their favorite characters while on a super tight budget as opposed to Hollywood that has Millions upon Millions of Dollars at its disposal
Funny and also sad
One word. Passion.
Fans have it, Hollywood does not.
What link&luigi said
its funny and kind of awesome, but it shows who deserves it more.
We should pay towards making our own fan video.... literally fund our own movie...... theres enough star wars fans out there to fund a mega budget film 😊
There's no needing of "let's show people the millennium falcon doing amazing pirouettes and lots of explosions and they can see how many money we have spent in the movie"
Just good ideas and try to keep the spirit.
I stand up and give an ovation for the director. Great use of the music, photography and the camera and... Well, all.
I loved the solo movie, but this guy did a way better job playing Han
At least Alden paid enough attention to detail that he pronounced words the same as Harrison Ford did, for instance “Falcon.”
@@theMasterChiefRules oh I think he did a great job, and I loved it, but I think with professional guidance, this guy could have done better
Commander Sammer well Anthony Ingruber did better impressions of Han when he was only 16, he didn't need any "professional guidance" and he actually got to play young Harrison Ford's character in "Age of Adaline." I would rather have seen what he could've brought to "Solo" but I agree, Alden did a great job with his rendition although I had doubts at first.
Incredible. The dessert world felt alien but not like tatooine (which is good), han looked and felt like Han, I liked the fighting. The falling and stumbling looked abd felt like han! I have one tiny criticism from an amazing fan project: that would be the lightsaber prop looked very fake. Having said that it was great and the lightsaber thing was very minor. I also wished, not criticizing but wishing that the green chick spoke an alien language. But that's all. Stunning just stunning. I love the effort. Probably the best fan movie ever made for anything by anyone. Just loved it!!!
maguire bentz thanks for the feedback! Good notes!!
Jamie Costa are you actually making a film out of this
Jamie Costa you captured Han so perfectly! I really do hope to see more of you and I honestly do see you getting big, May the Force be with You💚
maguire bentz i agree with most things but i think the Darth maul fan film from t7pro was as good
Jesse Dijkstra dude
Studio fucked up by not casting this guy, he's great and very believable as a young Han.
Lol my first thought was that it had an opening clip with Harrison Ford himself... Until it showed the extreme close-up. took a little bit to notice the voice was different too XD
This dude looks so much like Harrison it's crazy.
Kevin F i was thinking the same thing
He makes a great young Solo and he's HOT!
Joseph Green check Anthony Ingruber Then. He really looks like an Young Harrison Ford!
He even looks like robin williams
Man the voice it sounded just like Harrison Ford in the original trilogy, it brought me back to being a kid again I loved this alot. ♥
Very well done! I appreciate how you honored not just the character of Solo but Harrison Ford himself.
Impressive, most impressive.
Darth Vader indeed lord vader
Darth Vader indeed lord vador
Darth Vader just like u and your grandson😉😉😉😊😊😊😊
Lord Vader has spoken

"Um, me...big cape wearing guy, you're, uh under arrest." Battle droid
The resemblance is uncanny. He looks exactly like Ford!
Ikr He should've been in the new Han Solo movie
He did actually play Harrison Ford in a movie.
Punch Down King No in an actual movie, Jamie plays Harrison Ford. But I cannot remember what it's called.
This guy's Robin Williams impressions are enough for anyone in Hollywood to cast him in a bio pic of the late comedian! Check out his Robin impressions!
***** I know of them, I think the thing about Jamie is that he knows how to use his face along with his voice to embody a character. When he does his impression, he looks like Robin Williams too.
Jamie Costa as Han Solo and Ben Kenobi, wishes granted. Production quality is insane. But how on earth did you get Doug Jones!?
Had to come back and watch this epic film! Always love watching you play Han Solo!
Cannot wait to see your Kenobi fan film!

"This is how I envisioned Han Solo, I would of used this actor in a heartbeat" ~ George Lucas
Lol
This guy should've been cast as young Han Solo in the Star Wars spin off, not that other guy who looks and sounds nothing like Harrison Ford.
bergenheis oh and what are the secrets behind casting a younger version of a established actors character?
it means an actor that have close relation with director/producer.
Id rather a brilliant actor who looks kind of like him than an okay actor who looks exactly liker him
Luke Paron I would too but seeing from TFA and some parts of RO, I don't think disney (or whoever is in charge of casting) is very good at their job
bergenheis I'm saying I don't have faith in the casting of the new Han Solo (just didn't think I'd have to spell it out to you)
How is it possible you are the best Kenobi and best Han Solo?
And seriously these shorts are the best thing since the OG trilogy, thank you.
8:58 i've had this scene in my head since i was four years old. I am 22 now almost 23. So proud of this group of filmmakers for having the balls to do this idead. Unbelievable!!
Don’t get me wrong, I really liked solo: a Star Wars story, but I think if you guys had the same budget, you could have done better
Way better than Soylo.
For sure, i really loved Solo though.
@Tommy Gunn why does everyone hate solo so bad? I thought it was pretty great couldve been a bit better but im more mad it didnt franchise. I felt like Solo was a bit of the new star wars feel but other than that. This captures the whole original saga feel and that space western element which was my favorite thing about Star Wars. Jw
@Tommy Gunn word up cause I thought the story of how Han & Chewie met was was really priceless. Lando's robot lover LG ibelieve or something was weird touch but hilarious. And i thought the acting was really fucking solid. Like i really thought the guy who played Han was perfect. This guy was just as good but i also think that was due to the character being so amazingly fleshed out by Ford's Original Potrayl. Like I think Han & Chewie just come to life of the page because theyre so iconic and loved. Not to say it's an easy mantle just one that is easy to picture so if the scripting is a good potrayl an actor can feel themselves get into the role. At least thats how it for me but I'm an amatuer so what do i know. Lol
Saxophone trooper Studios yep
Recently I saw the movie of "Solo: A star wars story". And the story of this short film fits perfectly with the events that would follow after the movie.
Agreed. Went straight back to this after seeing Solo the other day.
Luis Humanoide yeah and the hutt contract it fits. This is like a prologue or deleted scene
How so?
Exactly this could Han much later on. His voice has come in and he's looking more like Harrison.
That movie was garbage. Put it in the same forgetful drawer as the prequels.
Said it before, Ill say it again, that one Line "I can Explain" is more in tune with the character of Han Solo than the whole solo movie.
My God did this you nail that cocky grin of Solo's and his speech mannerisms ("Yeah yeah. Take it easy...") perfectly! What is Solo's face made of to not show any blood and just a slight bruise on his nose? We saw the Twi'lek bleed but not Han despite a roughing up. Loved her intensity and the contacts on the actress' eyes. Twi'lek's are sometimes presented as eye-candy but this one was taking as good as she was giving.
On a side-note, I absolutely LOOOVED the scrappy fight in the beginning. It didn't look like a highly-choreographed martial arts performance but a sloppy bar brawl (which just goes to show how talented all involved on both sides of the camera really were to give that appearance).
Who DID they end up selling that to anyways XD
Quite an honourable portrayal of the established characters, not a bad story, a plot twist, slightly flakey writing, obvious budget constraints, overall enjoyed it, 8/10
If someone is going to replace Harrison Ford as Han Solo, you are my choise hands down.
Impressed that they got Doug Jones for this. And the way that they captured the feel of the old movies is remarkable!
After watching your "ROBIN Test footage" (few dozen times), I came across this gem.
I totally forgot that was you as Han Solo. Simply amazing. Bravo!
Ok, seriously... They need to hire this guy! He embodies everything we love about Han Solo. Everything from the "give me a break" mannerisms to the sly smirk. At the first reveal of his face, I thought I was looking at a CGI redention of Harrison Ford. Also, this was well shot for a small budget. This reminds me of Steven Spielberg's well shot short "Amblin" that got him hired to do TV in the early 70's. Disney could save milliions by hiring this actor and director and come out with a better movie.
Videl Awn yeah but it’s damn close.
Videl Awn I don’t mean for this to be offensive but so am I LMAO
Videl Awn I was being a smartass _:D
Videl Awn no I mean I AM a perfectionist but.... wait what was my point to begin with? I’m just now rereading all this and I can’t find what I was being a smartass about. It wasn’t me lying about being a perfectionist.... ok either I was having a brainfart when I made these comments or I’m having a major brainfart right now lol
They should've got you to play young Han Solo in his :(
This fan-film is amazing I love it
Michael Arroyo you do know there is no other young han solo movie coming out other than their right?
Michael Arroyo true but seriously disney isnt always bad in all honesty i like the way the new trilogy is going its actually quite darker than the original trilogy in a sense and the first anthonlogy film was actually pretty great despite knowing what happened but it gives you the perspective of characters that dont have it as good as the others in the original trilogy or prequel trilogy have it but i see why many people dont like the Disney films and sorry if the previous commemt souded kinda harsh in a way just making sure you knew lol 😜
John Failphins i didnt say it was a fully dark movie yea it has its unneeded comedy scenes but meh i still see them as being a bit dark compared to the other films not rogue one tho. i miss chirrut tho ;^;
John Failphins like i said you want to hate it thats fine doesnt mean it shouldnt be a part of star wars a story can evolve or devolve but its still a story but obviously every fanbase is a toxic shithole but hey stories are stories and im just here for the fun of it
UFFF CON ESTE ACTOR, HUBIERA SIDO MEJOR
I don’t recognize the score but it does have the John Williams sound.
This guy does the _best_ Han Solo since Harrison. Good work.
When i tell my firends i saw the solo film i mean this.
Bruh- this was quality filming! The characters (human and alien) were believable and their costumes definitely looked Star Wars. Thumbs up to the makeup artist who worked on the green female alien- did a great job covering her whole face and adding the eye contacts for added affect. And Han Solo, boy- Costa did a great job of capturing his humor, aloofness, and disdain for "hokey religion and ancient blasters." The artifact fanatic played by Jones definitely seemed obsessed over his treasures and appropriately sly for villain. Props also to the set designer and VFX coordinators! You chose great locations and created believable scenes. All the details y'all attended to helped *tell* the story , rather than distract the audience and take away. Would certainly be interested in seeing more fan films from you guys!
noahowens72 Wow thank you!!
How sad is it when fan content is so much better than studio work. Your Han Solo captures the essence of Ford’s portrayal of everyone’s favorite scoundrel. THANKS!
I cannot believe I’ve never heard your name! I’ve spent the last hour watching everything I could find with you (Jamie Costa) in it. How/why aren’t you a major star?? You’re impressions & acting skills are miles ahead of most Hollywood stars today. I hope the Robin Williams scene catapults you into stardom, where you belong btw.
I wish you all the best & God bless.
This was awesome. This should be a series on NETFLIX. I would prefer this to the Han Solo movie.
The Entertainment Monster omg a han solo series on netflix. fuckin awesome.
The Entertainment Monster Yaaas!
The Entertainment Monster Luke too
The Entertainment Monster I agree with you
It would work better as a seiries
Should've been the new han solo.
Alden Ehrenreich doesn't look like Han Solo to me in the slightest. Why Disney didn't cast Jamie is beyond me. With a little makeup and a bit of acting lessons Jamie would've made a FAR better young Han Solo. Disney seems to be on a downhill slope since the release of The Last Jedi.
Amen.
I came back to this video just to comment that or give a thumbs up to anyone who already did.
Aze IKR he nailed it
Not really. He’s not that good of an actor
He does a good Solo and Kenobi. Both shorts are very well done.
I love how the guy I watched vines of han solo of a while ago and surprised me with his talent and similarities is now playing in his own fan made star wars movies as Kenobi and Solo It's crazy
That dude. Looks. Like. Ford. How perfect was this casting
Conner Meinke too bad Disney didn't cast him 🙄🙄🙄
This guy looks like a younger Harrison Ford and nails his mannerisms. Nice.
Carl Becklehimer You mean a young Robin Williams?... See Anthony Ingruber
Carl Becklehimer I didnt see this coming. No he wouldnt be a Han character played by some ator of Duane Johnson. Or Scarlett Johansen? Now that would be the starwars film I would leave a troll comment on. Pissed on how flms are made over and over and over just telling of te same story over and over again. A s if we pay to be stuid and suprised by the plot-twist. I am just glad George Lucas did ot direct these films anew of StarWars. But am glad the possibility of him coming back to sit in the direcors seat for what would be the telling of the last Jedi stories...before the starwars world is told over and over and over again. Very similar to retelling and or telling of all characters in a spinoff twist film series where other people jumpship: movie hop. And I dont but pay to watch a film but get kicked out or worst/better get arrested and fed food 3 times a day for being a paying StarWars fan! ^more later the video stpped buffering andis now playing
This is the ONLY stand-alone “Solo” film worth watching. Absolutely brilliant. Wow. You embody Han Solo so perfectly. It’s uncanny. All of your impressions and performances are genius. 👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I’ve just rewatched this short film, it never fails to amaze me, i still can’t believe you got doug jones in the short film!
This is the tone a Solo movie should have.
this is probably fhe best /harrison ford/han solo impression ive ever seen....i wish this guy was the new han solo and not the other guy
Exactly, it's just an impression of Harrison Ford. Nothing new or unique. Just a guy doing an impression - I'm sure no one would have complained about that...
Look up Anthony Ingruber. He's the best, he even auditioned for the Solo movie, but for some weird reason they rejected him.
A true masterpiece!!! It's good to see Han character recieved another great story. He really deserves it
WOW, how have I not heard of or seen of these? Kenobi was great too. Took a moment to get past the first few mins of Hans looks. They are close but by the end of the film his mannerisms and voice were bang on. I believed I was watching a young Harrison in some edits from an unseen film. 4:30s really sold it for me. Did they consider Jamie for the Han Solo movie? "Well played sir".
Man I wished they picked you for Han Solo. You match his demeanor perfectly from facial expressions to voice and obviously looks. The guy portraying him now doesn't even have Solo's personality which is the least we could expect
This proves that fans know more about Star Wars than Disney. You did an amazing job as Solo.
Tha Pume Stop
Tis is true. The fans is what made it what it’s become. George and Mark even said that.
Tha Pume Just wait for the Vader film by Star Wars Theory.
JCG im exited for that one!
+Leia Organa
"The fans know more about Star Wars than the damn creators"
You give yourselves too much credit
This was magnificent. A lot of Fan Films have terrible acting and great fight choreo, or great acting and boring choreo, but you mastered both. This was so well done it looked like a scene straight out of Solo, congratulations!
That was awesome Jamie Costa played a fantastic Han Solo Harrison Ford would be proud May The Force Be With You!!!
If the 2018 Han Solo film is anything like this, it may actually end up being pretty good!
I'm pretty sure it's 2018
tommytom if not I will get pissed 😤
Well the actor looks nothing like Harrison Ford, so it's already off to a flying start
Sorry I meant 2018.
It should be cancelled
If you told me that this was footage from the upcoming Han Solo film, i would be completely happy.
F W it would also be a tribute to all fan movies of star wars. You don't need 200 million dollars to make a star wars movie especially if its only based on a few characters.
Came here from Obi Wan film and this one is pretty good too. Should make more. :)
Agreed
Captures the essence of Star Wars better than JJ, Ruin, or Kennedy
this was just in my reccomended, lol the dude playing han almost looks an sounds like harrison nice! lol
Dkw if the CZcamsr is the dude or if it’s hired help or a friend but definitely would of been a better fit then who they got for solo lol
They should definitely get this guy for the official han movie. I'd love to see that
He has already been cast.
Tyler Morin but it says Alden Ehrenreich is Harrison ford for the untitled movie
Tyler Morin that Anthony kid I feel might be a better fit for Solo too bad he didn't get it. This movie is awesome good job!
why wasnt this guy picked for the solo movie closest youll get to ford
Because looking like Harrison Ford does not make you a good actor
Joseph Barnhurst wow thats a shitty thing to say about Jamie....
Joseph Barnhurst this guy did a pretty good job acting. Looked a lot like solo
yeah! he should of been hired for Han Solo: a Star Wars Story!
#HireHim
Missy Brashears I'm not shitting on Jamie at all I love his work I have been following everything he does for a long time now he is a great and very talented entertainer and I always enjoy watching whatever product he puts out, especially this fan film. But when I see a Han Solo movie I don't want to see someone doing a Harrison Ford impression for two hours, I want to see someone keep the spirit of the character while making it their own.
Jamie Costa released a Kenobi fan made film a few days ago and he plays an amazing Kenobi (hello there!)
Well done again!
Now that was a great watch!!!
Holy shit he moves like Solo and the snark. Well done!!! Incredible work!! And holy fuck Doug Jones!! ICONIC!!!
Harrison Ford + Kurt Russell= this guy
BillyPilgrim I was kinda thinking Harrison Ford + Val Kilmer myself...
This was the best star wars fan film i've seen and I watched a lot of them. This film nails everything; the acting, music, costume design, environment, dialogue, action and cinematography is all great. 10/10
Maniacal Laugh! Thanks for the love on the cinematography!
WHO CAN NOT WAIT FOR KENOBI!??
Epic
This comment aged horribly
@@zelithfang2365 DING DING DING DING DING !!!!!!!!
@@52sees If only you knew then
it kinda makes me sad that this is better than Solo: a Star Wars Story :(
on the other hand, good job and a round of applause for everyone who worked on this! great job! :)
