I think they're kinda equivalent,
The pillar of autumn in lore is an outdated ship that's been upgraded, the enterprise is just a normal exploratory vessel, the most advanced ship there (to their own universe) is probably the Normandy, and even then the Normandy's main role is recon not fighting.
Then theres the 99 honda civic with a v8 swap that the millennium falcon is lol.

The Master Chief detonating a red antimatter bomb being dropped off by the Normandy to destroy the Death Star and then picking up a ride on the Millennium Falcon, helping the USS Enterprise avoid being destroyed is one of the geekiest fanfics of all time.

I haven't played ME, but that detail at 14:55 is awesome. She can't go that warp speed without something to jump her, so she uses the Enterprise as the jumpstarter! :)
From what I remember, ME ships do have FTL capability. If I remember, the Normandy does something like ~15 Lightyears per day.
The reason they use the Relays, is because they can slingshot you across the galaxy far more quickly.
It also hitched a ride when the piller of autumn went through slipspace
Mass Effect ships can travel FTL by themselves, it's just far slower then the rest of the ships there. It's typically used for interplanetary travel, rarely for interstellar travel. One of the reasons Mass Effect is probably my favorite universe among these is because they actually invent the physics to explain how.
Supplying a positive of negative current into an element called element 0 generates a _mass effect_ field where the mass inside the field is made lighter or heavier depending on positive or negative. Effectively they can project a field around the ship and, while it normally weighs 1000 tons it now weighs 10 tons, but the engines still produce the same level of thrust. It can exceed the speed of light because the mass of photons entering the field also change with the ship.
Also how the reapers arrived late to the party cause no mass relays so they have to go by their own engines
In Mass Effect there is Mass Relay to suprass FTL speed, so the idea of using the Enterprise to mimetice the Warp speed is cool.

The Klingons would as well. Hell I'm not even sure why Klingons are even here at all to be honest, but I guess that Earth lies in Klingon space in this timeline, or that they have been pulled through by shear luck as Klingons weren't pursuing the Enterprise.

Really they would have seen thousands of ships 300 ODPs and the Empire would have been on the receiving end of the entire Earth Defense fleet. Including the UNSC Infinity firing. Not to mention Captain Keys is KIA by 2555 and the Autumn destroyed.

I can't believe this was made 5 years ago and I'm only just discovering it, but it made me so so so so so so happy. Actual favourite video ever
The fact that the Pillar of autumn, a halcyon class light cruiser, was able to inflict the kind of damage it did with only a light broadside barrage against that destroyer without using the full complement of its 40+ point defense guns, its 20+ archer missile launchers, 4 medium auto cannons or its light Mac cannon shows just how good unsc ships can be.
I wish the UNSC actually bothered to introduce shielding to their ships early game like find a way how cuz that would change the HvC war so much
@@CASA-dy4vs well, the only reason they finally had shields for the infinity is because they made a forerunner hybrid reactor that would be able to power them up while still having plenty of power for all other systems. the usual nuclear reactor they were using beforehand wouldn't allow that to happen. just firing the MAC consumes a lot of energy.
@@CASA-dy4vs The UNSC doesn't have the technology of shielding and honestly feels weird it can even fight a star destroyer. and while the ISD does rely on it's shielding it is also actually pretty heavily armored against solid rounds that aren't blasters or energy weapon.
@@Dr-fate-hoes-comp-Umineko The Infinity is basically the UNSC equivalent of the Death Star, but it is significantly weaker to the Death Star in terms of firepower, shielding, and armor. also, most UNSC ships' mac gun won't be strong enough to destroy an ISD in a single shot, they might damage it.

I never knew I needed to witness the Pillar of Autumn broadsiding a Star Destroyer and the Master Chief riding the Millennium Falcon until this moment
A crossover done so well one would wish to see more of it . And everything seeming like they brought their universe along with them mixing everything together in such a way that I can't describe how happy I am someone has done this.
And every character being themselves, for 2023 this is a breath of fresh air.

As someone who has played all the Halo games, watched a few of the Star Wars movies, caught bits and pieces of Star Trek and Mass Effect. This is one of the coolest videos ever.
Now all you needed was the infected USG Ishimura slipping with Issac Clark from Dead Space, The Traveler and a few Guardians from Destiny, and Milano with the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Dark times when the fans know the IPs better than their owners, but it is the world we live in now.

This is the kind of fanfiction that the higher ups in the movies don't understand is exactly what fans of these series want to see. Smaller budgets, unknown stars, and good space battles.
They could've had a better dialogue writer, but that's my only pet peeve.
Also, shields. They could've added shields. My two pokes. Also check out Battle of Wolf 359 with the 6 battlewings, it's such a great animation. Both perfectly canonically accurate, AND well animated.
The only unrealistic thing about this is that all of their enemies didn't kill each other on site when they first arrived...

Probably the most odd part of the whole thing. The Reapers would have started tearing them apart, the Covenant would have attempted to destroy everyone else for heresy, with the Vengeance and the Empire would be the only ones going, WTF?
@@Charistoph It depends on who is the commander of the empire's fleet. if it was vader and the Death Squadron? the Empire would come out attacking general too. if it were the Grand Admiral thrawn would probably walk away and watch the others destroy themselves.
@@victoroduarte, Vader has shown patience when he didn't have a specific purpose involved. However, just the Reapers and Covenant attacking his ships would have been enough to fight back very quickly. And if the Vengeance's commander tried to act superior with him, Vader probably would have taken time to... educate him on his folly.
@@Charistoph yes... vader has very practical and convincing teaching methods. probably the most lethal combination in the empire was Darth Vader acting in concert with the Grand Admiral Thrawn and the two guiding the Death Squadron... Few naval forces in science fiction would hope to defeat the brute force of the empire plus their tactics.
My favourite thing about this was that one shot of the Enterprise surrounded by star destroyers, that’s like a dream come true

Honestly, the only thing that does not make sense to me is the fact that none of the MAC cannons that are supposed to be on Earth, if we are setting this in the Halo universe, even fired at the enemy fleets. Plus I feel like the empire and pretty much every other bad guy ship that arrived at earth would have tried to invade it the moment they got there. other than that, this was an amazing fan film!

Excellent work, I definitely don't watch a lot of fanfics or crossovers or even short films but this one was enough to draw me in and keep me to the end! Left me imagining that they all went back to their own places and never saw each other again but never forgot those fifteen minutes of fighting alongside new allies. A memory to keep them going in the hard times.

I'm a lifelong trek fan. Starfleet could not take on the death star head on. Stafleet with their tech if they got real creative, they would have a chance but the death star is the one thing that would present a HUGE problem for them.

All I can say it's a good thing 40k aren't in this they'd annialate every other universe because as much as I love the other universes 40k would purley and simply destroy everything. The sith look like a bunch of magicians compared to phsykers and there ships are dwarfed compared to emperor class destroyers such as battlefleet gothic and the countless space marine fleets not to mention black ships.
Being blunt:
Animation was incredible, and the fan service was more than entertaining.
But some of the actors could really learn to emote a bit more.
All and all, pretty enjoyable.
For sure, but I though Joker, Kirk and Keyes did a great job through and through.

It would be more difficult, but then you could show off individual fighters squaring off, and feature different characters. Then we could have Avengers, Jedi, and see the differences between handheld weapons in these different universes.

14:54 The Normandy using the Enterprise as Mass Relay is awesome.
Now you need to add the Warhammer 40k giant battle ships that are the sizes of giant hive cities.
While the acting was a little meh, this clearly had a ton of heart and soul put into it. The special effects are actually decent, the action is fun, the concept itself is awesome. Easily 9/10, would recommend.
Especially considering that *only* 2,000 (U.S. ?) was spent this could be one of those "Napoleon Dynamite" ideas that actually pay off especially if it is done in a parody format.
I'd personally love to see a full length movie based on this. And by full length I don't mean the 'youtube full length', I mean a REAL full length movie that's at least 2 hours.
Granted this was done by fans in their free time, and I understand and appreciate that. The acting and special effects were very good in my opinion, I just personally want to see this greatly expanded.
And since this was done by fans in their free time I know it could possibly take several years to make an actual full length movie version of this video, but I for one am definitely willing to wait.
Again, this is just my own personal opinion.

Maybe in a sequel they can explain how the empire allied with the Klingons and the covenant and the federation dreadnaught. Also how the rebel ships and unsc forces appeared out of nowhere already knowing they had to work together.
If there’s to be a sequel, maybe Space Battleship Yamato should be in it, like a cool cameo scene or a mid credit.

I like how when the pillar of autumn attacked the star destroyer the shields didn't stop the rounds because UNSC uses physical shells rather than energy. And the shields in SW block either, physical or energy never both
