BUCKETHEADS is a Star Wars Fan Film from the Stormtroopers' perspective. Shot in September 2017 in Vancouver, BC, Canada, it was a wonderful journey, with over 76 people directly involved in this effort to tell a Star Wars Story from the Imperial point of view.
This film wouldn't have been possible without the involvement of the 501st Legion, Vader's fist.

Stormtroopers are pretty good shots when they arenât fighting main characters
I think you mean "When they aren't being ordered to not kill main characters"
Yeah man plot armor makes beskar look like bantha poodoo
@Unknown Gamer Leia and Tarkin both state that the Stormtroopers let them leave the Death Star.
On Bespin, Vader needed Luke's friends as bait. If they were dead, they'd be bad bait.
On Endor, the Stormtroopers were winning until Chewie stole the AT-ST
did they actually hit anyone here ? I just saw suppresion fire and a grenade '.'
Just look at the first scene in a New Hope, A squad of Stormtroopers were breaching a narrow corridor with a dozen blasters pointed at them and curbstomped the rebels, only taking 2 casualties.
If that doesnât show how elite stormtroopers are I donât know what will

Yes! I love stormtroopers, it's easy to lose sight of them being people too, since they're seen as bad
Read my series Star Wars Revisiting Endor Episode 1. You can Google it.
I love how detailed and accurate this film is, like having the number "501" on the thermal imploder, showing that these guys are apart of Vader's Fist. Also I love how much it humanizes the troopers, showing that they're real people with loved ones back home, same as the rebels.
The only problem is that the 501st was one of the last, if not the last, fully clone unit. Even if the all looked like the one trooper who takes off his helmet there would have been no females in the unit.
@Freddie Miller Jr I believe the stormtroopers added to the 501st during the reign of the Empire were conscripts.
@@plagueis5013 I might be wrong, but I think the 501st was the only pure clone legion in the Empire. I think Star Wars Theory has a video on it somewhere. Who knows though. Maybe they picked up a specialized Stormtrooper or two for a mission.

first star wars movie where storm troopers actually take hits without dying thanks to the armor
And the rebels now have poor aim.
the reason that the stormtroopers armor is so poor against blasters during the original trilogy is because it's meant to stop blunt force not laser fire. The Empire hadn't had opponents with blaster weapons for some time before the rebels arrived and their armor was mainly designed to crush ordinary citizens who threw rocks and hit with staffs and such. then again the clones armour didnt fair much better against the droids.... very peculiar
@@finleyvlok2763 *puts nerd glasses on* ACTUALLY, its the opposite. The stormtrooper armor is meant to protect against blasterfire and not blunt weapons like sticks and rocks. You see them often going down after a blaster hits them, but the trooper usualy only becomes unconscious, because the armor absorbs the most damage, leaving heavy burns though. . In the most cases do they survive the hit and just need some time in a bacta tank. Simple weapons weapons though can penetrate the armor, thats why you see the Ewoks actually putting up a fight against the Stomtroopers in RotJ. *puts nerd glasses down* (Got my knowledge from "Star Wars Theory" Check him out if you want to know more :)

Damn epic, thanks for your hard work!
Make more yo better than dysney star wars by a long shot
I'm glad you didn't use does 2-D ships. How did you make them more realistic?
Great little film. One tiny thing: speaking as someone who has been through soldier training, I'd suggest that when your scout yells 'Ambush!' the squad would not be standing still like headless chickens, they'd be instantly going for cover and looking for threats.
It's what TK's (Stormtroopers) do :) Besides, not exactly camoed!
No, the white armour in a forest is never going to blend in. But you misunderstand, I was referring to cover, rather than concealment. Cover is a solid object which will stop enemy fire, whereas concealment is something that will hide but not protect. A large tree is cover, a bush is merely concealment.
I would say most normal peoples reaction would be to run for cover or anything(aka I agree)
Most normal people probably *would* be standing around like headless chickens, but trained soldiers would be hitting the dirt almost automatically, practically before their brains had even really caught up. It gets drilled into you in training.
But think about it, stormtroopers almost always wear armor, it had to throw them off being that trooper didn't have his helmet on on the battlefield. That's the strongest (yet albeit still not that strong) argument in favor of this squad.
This is great! I love how it told the story of stormtroopers instead of another jedi. It really showed the conflict for what it is instead of black and white good vs bad.

half the reason the clone wars tv show is so good too
agreed, but the whole point of stormtroopers was to make them faceless. i heard stormtroopers were killed if they took off their helmets while on duty.
Garrett Gold Not killed. Around other stormtroopers they can do whatever they want with their equipment. The reason why they donât show their faces is because rebels film their engagements with imperials, and if a stormtrooper shows a face him and his family will be targeted. Though this only happens if said stormtrooper comes from an outer rim planet with a good amount of rebel empathy.

@Andorian Nationalist no. Clone troopers are clones of jango fett. And A FEW of the early storm troopers were clones until they were shown to be too susceptible to manipulation so Palps decided to start kidnapping and training individual kids.
@Andorian Nationalist alright except they so actually say in the force awakens that storm troopers are kidnapped kids. It's a total train wreck it's scoring 4% with test audiences, they ruined it with TLJ I waited till it was on sky for free and couldn't believe how bad it was tros will just be desecration of the corpse
From a musical standpoint, itâs really interesting and quite refreshing to hear the dark, brass tones youâd usually expect to hear as leitmotifs for The Empire inverted, instead used for the Rebels. Itâs an ingenious use of music, and how to subvert peopleâs perspectives through it! Well done!
Username and pic check put
Huh?
@@Dragonbard yeah, I'm not sure what he was getting at either
I had to rewatch it to catch that. Super clever use of the score.
@Stephen MorigeauHAHAHA. why are you calling me a dick, man? Whatever he said is your idea of "easily perceptible?" I dont even believe your explanation of it is right, lmao. Do you even know what "username checks out" means? Apparently not. What he said made zero sense and your explanation is even worse. Bite me
THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER!!! THIS NEEDS TO BECOME A MOVIE. it would be super cool if there was something like this for the mimban campaign
Another great SW fanfilm. Humanizing stormtroopers and making them competent villains would be one of the best decisions in Star Wars. The mix of CGI and good storytelling here makes it so worth any Star Wars fanâs time. Bravo đđ
I guess I couldn't have picked a better time to watch some fan films as Bucketheads is easily the best I've ever seen. Everything about it is just spectacular. The costume design, the sets, the music, the VFX, the acting, the characters, the writing -- all sublime. Easily mistakable for an official release, perhaps even better than some official releases we've seen. The icing on the cake, though? Mark Meer. Commander Shepard himself.
This is my favorite Star Wars fan film on the citadel.

Theyâre both really good. Hoping Star Wars theoryâs is good too
What about Maul Fanfilm?
I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite fan film on the Citadel.
Had to scroll too far down for this! : D
For me the best part about this video was the debate between the prisoner and the two stormtroopers about who is really the bad guy
...finally Troopers that can aim shoot and kill...and with real empathy knowing that they know ....
I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite fan-film on CZcams.
I'm Master Chief and this is my favorite fan film.

Where did you get this V.I?
Ahhh, there's the commander Shepard comment xD
Damnit Conrad Verner, stop making statements using my name.
That was so good! I really want another episode to this! I feel like it deserves even more. Feels like a TV show that I would binge watch for so long!!!! Loved every minute!!!! That ending credits I can see being the intro!!!!
couldn't agree more.
I (and others) have heavily suggested they make another one. You guys are making another one, right...? RIGHT?!
I was thinking the same thing while watching the credits
@@Echo852 We'd certainly like to! It's not out of the realm of possibilities but we'd need to find a way to fund it.
@@TransmutePictures star a go fund me
Congratulations.
You made me care about the lives of individual Stormtroopers a lot more than the sequel trilogy could have ever hoped to do.
The stormtroopers in the sequels aren't shown to have any character kinda like battle droids but less funny
Amazing. I just realized when the storm trooper threw the thermal detonator, if you look closely it says 501st! That is amazing
