Actually Sonic Rush and Rush Adventure have different themes (on top of having unique invincibility themes for each zone).
Same goes for Sonic Advance 2/3.
same goes for the Sonic Drift series as the first game is another rendition of "You Can Do Anything" (aka green hills from 2 8 bit) while the second Drift game is the Sonic 3 invincibility theme

I like that particular theme. A great way to reference the original but vary it.
Sonic 2 on Mega Drive/Genesis had the best invinciblity theme. It was an updated take on the Sonic 1 one and just had that perfect upbeat kick.
Rush Adventure is super cool because it has unique invincibility themes per zone, which each utilize the zone’s melody. It would’ve been cool to see that showcased here.

You missed the Japanese version of Sonic Boom, Saturn version of 3D Blast as well as Sonic Advance 2 and 3 which had much different versions from Advance 1,

The Sonic 1, 2, 3 & Knuckles themes are classics, but I also feel the Adventure games invincibility themes are under appreciated. They're my favorites out of all of them. The Adventure games also had great speed up music too instead of just speeding up the stage track.
No love for Sonic 3? (Progressive commercial)
I thought this was going to be a history of all invincible power ups, like Mario with his starman and Kirby with the power lollipop (and Link with his various invincible events)
Forget Sonic 3 version (t's not the same music than Sonic & Knuckles) and Sonic CD US version.
Uh dude, sonic 3 and sonic and knuckles is one game officialy not two anymore, sonic 3&K is the main version of the game
Sonic Forces - Double Boost
Sonic 2 (Genesis/Mega Drive) is my all time favorite. Sonic Triple Trouble, Sonic 2 (Game Gear), Sonic 3D Blast (Saturn version - not shown here), and Sonic Mania are some other favs.

i like how sonic 3d blast invicibillty power up is the opening theme like sonic 3 and knuckles.
sonic 2 Genesis was the first sonic game I played, then my dad got me a game gear with a carrying case with sonic 2, sonic 2 for the game gear was the first one I owned and beat, then my family got a Genesis model 2 with eternal champions sonic spinball NBA JAM TE the jungle book and asterix and the great rescue, sonic I didn't get sonic 2 16bit much later but I still loved sonic so ic 3 made me a true sonic fan lol
2 things:
1. I never knew how much I missed hearing Sonic say "Here we go" after getting the invincibility bubble which leads into the theme song playing in SA2 & Heroes. Such a nice charm.
2. How did Generations & Forces manage to have an ugly invincibility effect, even worse than a game like Sonic 4? I do not know.
He may have forgotten to put "Sonic the Hedgehog" in the title.
I don't want to make the title long, so I just put more details in the description.
I will always prefer the original invincibility music and original also that extra life music . They both felt so impactful and epic xD

I never played anything past the year 2000 sonic games, you see they started going 3D and then went back to 2D because in my opinion they were better for the type of game trying to move that fast. Not saying the other ones were bad, 3D provides more of a challenge to move fast, but I guess sonic 1 and 2 are what I'm used to. Sonic spinball was my favorite.
I don't know that minecraft sonic DLC is going to be in this video wow
Not sure about new Sonic games, but on old games the power up was invulnerability to damage, not invincibility. You can still die if you fall to void or if you get smashed between walls.
