The Labyrinth Zone is possibly Sonic's least favourite, because he can't swim. The music is nice and mellow, nowhere near as scary as the music of Scrap Brain Zone.😂🙃

i feel like sonic would probably hate places like death egg, scrap brain, metropolis, oil ocean, planet wisp, metallic madness, all the bad futures in sonic cd, all of sonic forces, chemical plant, etc.
sonic actually enjoys places with water, specially beaches.
labyrinth wouldn't be his favorite place in the world since it's an enclosed space, but he wouldn't completely hate every second of it.

30 years of going through this ancient water Temple
I have always imagine labyrinth zone as a temple with no roof and no other way out except the level layout. How did sonic get into the temple? Well,Sonic falls into a giant slope and spring yard,and then fall into a waterfall that leads to the temple. And the temple has a big room that was filled with water. No other way but underwater.
I like how in sonic 4 you dont even enter in water to complete labyrinth zone

I think if labyrinth zone could ve been a great zone if there won't be as many spikes balls and bullshit spike placements I don't mind the water but I wish you can still go fast in water like hydro city and aquatic ruin I think the master system labyrinth better

Labyrinth Zone is not so bad. Wing Fortress and Sky Chase are far worse imo.
I can understand wing fortress because of falling off the stage, especially with super sonic, but sky Chase being worse than labyrinth? Now you're Just making up stuff. Sky Chase feels more like a reward after completing the hell that is Metropolis Zone, It has a peaceful music and Its only downside is being a slow autoscroller that feels like It lasts forever when you replay the game too many times, but overall Its a Nice little playable cutscene. Labyrinth Just sucks: slow as hell, water slows down Sonic tremendously, riddled with bad enemy placement and cheap traps, and act 3's Boss is Just the worst "Boss fight" in the entire game: a Chase where you need to avoid cheaply placed spikes and traps, damaging eggman doesnt mean shit because he never gets defeated and all you have to do is get on top before the water drowns Sonic. Sky Chase cant even be compared to Labyrinth, lol.
