I'm really excited for the T-70 X-Wing in conjunction with Poe Dameron. I can definitely see myself running a Rebel team featuring Poe and his T-70 X-Wing.
You can use Ello with BB8 and Push the Limit to score some free actions with no stress. Reveal green maneuver -> Barrel Roll (from BB8) -> PTL action -> Perform green maneuver -> Remove stress -> Action.
Just another reason why I love flying Rexler, his ability to affect already dealt damage cards is great for negating abilities that affect damages as they are dealt (I'm looking at you, Chewbacca). Forcing a player to burn their astromech on a regular damage as it is dealt, just because Rexler can flip it.
I kinda want to build a list out of two of these and another ship... any suggestions for the third craft? I was thinking of something gimmicky, like a HWK290 support ship or a bomber / heavy fighter like B or Y-wing.
+Niluk Peiris - Yep, I mention it in the TIE/fo review, because that expansion has only one copy of Juke, and I really think there should be at least two copies of both that and Integrated Astromech in their respective expansions. Especially Integrated Astromech since it's a direct fix to the original X-Wing and most players have 2-4 of those in their collections.
+The Cardboard Dungeon I was like what TIE/fo review, but then saw that you posted it 7 minutes ago. haha. What a treat! Seriously man, love your videos!!
I like that Red Ace, but the selling point is that Targeting Astromech. So many uses for that. Y Wings can take astromechs, right? That might be fun on Dutch.
+Tom Landy I've been running a K Wing / Y Wing combo for fun that passes focus and target locks to each other while they nuke and turret the things, and this would fit right in brilliantly. Only problem is the lack of elite icon. :/
+David Renó - Not at this time. They're probably just covering the bases against the (unlikely) possibility of a ship that can carry multiple astromech droids being released in the future.
+The Guild Of Awesome - Unfortunately it does not. Like all unique cards in the game, it's only available one way - in this case, you'll need the Force Awakens core set to get Poe's pilot card.
Fun fact wouldn't Ello Asty's dial still have a talon roll as a red maneuver she just treats it as a white this means with targeting astromech she can get a target lock and still perform a focus or boost action. Essentially freeing up her EPT for something else!
No the critical you are talking about makes you treat all X maneuvers as red maneuvers it does not intrinsically change your maneuver dial. Because Ello's talent doesn't say her Talon rolls are actually white it says she treats them as white the astromech should still work because the astromech activates on a chosen maneuver not on the pilots response to the maneuver.
+Benoit Mailhot - Rebels: Millennium Falcon, T-70 X-Wing, A-Wing, B-Wing, Outrider. Imperials: TIE Interceptor, TIE Defender, TIE Fighter, TIE Advanced, Decimator. Scum: Slave 1, Z-95, Hound's Tooth, Khiraxz, StarViper. This is likely to change when wave 8 arrives. I imagine that the Ghost will bump the Outrider, and the TIE Advanced Prototype and Punishing One might bump ships from their respective factions as well.
+Lost & Found Travel I read in an article that his helmet says "Born To Ill" in arabesh on it. LOL. I love this guy; in the movie for 10 seconds, but the B-boy thing made me a fan. I now have his figure on my desk at work.
However, the upcoming Saw's Renegades expansion contains an X-Wing with articulated wings and a bunch of very useful upgrades designed to get the original X-Wing back into competitive form.
Great review! Love the T-70 model. I think it is one of FF's best X-Wing Miniatures models yet...Along with the K-Wing.
+Gold Leader - Thanks!
Man, I can't wait to pilot red ace against my mom at the table! lol...think I'll fly him alongside luke skywalker for the funs :D

Ello Asty. I bet that pilot is simply... Intergalactic.
+davajita - I see what you did there. You might say that he's a beast of a pilot.
+The Cardboard Dungeon I bet when someone is attacking, it sure gets his body movin'.
+davajita his body went moving in several different directions at once at the end of the film...
You can use Ello with BB8 and Push the Limit to score some free actions with no stress. Reveal green maneuver -> Barrel Roll (from BB8) -> PTL action -> Perform green maneuver -> Remove stress -> Action.
Whoops, sorry, saw the same set up in the Poe vid. Disregard.
Cool hand on the new tie bomber pilot in veterns= tie bomber fel
I just got my 2nd one of these. I am slowly replacing my stock X-Wings with them.

stresshog y-wing
How many copies of Integrated Astromech are in the T-70 blister?
+finecommathanks Just one copy unfortunately...
+Niluk Peiris - Yep, I mention it in the TIE/fo review, because that expansion has only one copy of Juke, and I really think there should be at least two copies of both that and Integrated Astromech in their respective expansions. +TheGreatHamEl I agree. Dutch loves that droid. I really like Red Ace too.
+Tom Landy I've been running a K Wing / Y Wing combo for fun that passes focus and target locks to each other while they nuke and turret the things, and this would fit right in brilliantly. Only problem is the lack of elite icon. :/
is there a ship that can take more than 1 astromech? why it says "you may discard 1 of your astromech upgrade card.." ? great video as always :)
+David Renó - Not at this time. They're probably just covering the bases against the (unlikely) possibility of a ship that can carry multiple astromech droids being released in the future.
Give Comm Relay to Red Ace with R2-D2... I can just imagine all the trouble that could give your opponent...
does the individual T70 not come with the Poe Dameron card??
+The Guild Of Awesome - Unfortunately it does not. Like all unique cards in the game, it's only available one way - in this case, you'll need the Force Awakens core set to get Poe's pilot card.
+The Cardboard Dungeon okay, thanks none the less

No. When you "treat a maneuver as a white maneuver" it overrides your maneuver dial. Some critical hits have the same mechanics.
No the critical you are talking about makes you treat all X maneuvers as red maneuvers it does not intrinsically change your maneuver dial. +rat488 Ello is a Male, actually: starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Ello_Asty
Well that's a shame I was hoping to get another female pilot but Heeeeey at least we are diversifying the resistance forces in some way :P
If you were to chose your 5 favourite ships for every faction, what would they be?
+Benoit Mailhot - Rebels: Millennium Falcon, T-70 X-Wing, A-Wing, B-Wing, Outrider. Imperials: TIE Interceptor, TIE Defender, TIE Fighter, TIE Advanced, Decimator. Scum: Slave 1, Z-95, Hound's Tooth, Khiraxz, StarViper. This is likely to change when wave 8 arrives. +The Cardboard Dungeon Thanks, I've just started playing and I was wondering what I should get.
Also, would you rather recommend getting rebel aces or both ships individually? (in terms of pilots and upgrade cads, that would be)
+Benoit Mailhot - Aces. Better pilots than either of the expansions, and the tools needed to make the A-Wing really shine.
Thank you again :)
I think the name Ello Asty is another JJ Abrams Beastie Boys reference. Hello Nasty. Also thanks for the video.
it is! at least according to Wookiepedia :)
+Lucas Watson HA! Thanks. Next will be F.O. tie pilot "Pau L'sBo Uti Que"
+Lost & Found Travel I read in an article that his helmet says "Born To Ill" in arabesh on it. LOL. I love this guy; in the movie for 10 seconds, but the B-boy thing made me a fan. I now have his figure on my desk at work.
And then he died.
LOL Cybermat47!
Should I get this if I have HotR?
Probably don't need it
Next video?
can the wings close
Unfortunately, no.
However, the upcoming Saw's Renegades expansion contains an X-Wing with articulated wings and a bunch of very useful upgrades designed to get the original X-Wing back into competitive form.
Cool ship, cool video.
PS: First
Is this metal?
No, hard plastic.
phantom's still bae
So not a lot of cards in there huh?
Yeah... card count out of these expansions is all over the place. Sometimes you'll get a pile of upgrades, sometimes just a few.
The Cardboard Dungeon ain't that the truth. I got a punisher and got a crap ton of cards and then I get the interceptor aaand 2 upgrades, sad.
