It's interesting to see that there is a necessity to have proper executives trying to communicate to a creative what they can or cannot do.
Some corporations have taken the idea that an executive has full control, and im wondering if the reality is there should be a balance of an executive that keeps the creatives from trying not to bite off more than they can chew, but creatives should be able to have the freedom to at least offer those ideas.
You always need to have someone there so they can knock you down a peg, communicate to you if they think something is working or not. It's a balance, both sides should have enough power for one to be able to keep scope reeled in for fhe artist and the other to be able express themselves without holding back what's important

I think its cause even without investors small games companies are willing to say "nah this doesnt work" whilst those start up companies based off a certain creator are gonna be very into his ideas and not be critical at all thus leading to death stranding

Bloodstained is awesome. That is for sure. The issue comes from the Switch version. Not only the one that sold the most, but the one that worked the least at release. It's still really buggy and there is no reason it should run at 30fps or have less effects even today, but they patched it enough to be playable. Still, always go for the other options if you can.

Remove half the weapons while still adding new characters, remove the combo system for some new system that just feels awful, and put in the absolute bare minimum effort for the open world.
In short? Poorly. Very poorly.
For me with the call of duty games, I only get annoyed that it's so similar between releases because they come out every year. If it was more like Ratchet and Clank where every game in the series is similar with some additions, but they come out every few years, I'd be singing a different tune with call of duty.
i feel like every few years is far worse? like if theyre just gonna give us the same game anyway, give us a new one every year. Its not like theres call of duty lore thats important to keep up on so even if you miss one its fine. I like certain series just pumping out games every year.
@@hunbi1875 I don't know, I just feel like there's more room for games 1. Feeling more fresh if they're not released as often, and 2. There's more room for the developers to innovate and improve upon games if they aren't constantly having to pump out games super often. I haven't been interested in any CoD games since Black Ops 2 came out, so maybe I'm the wrong person to talk to about this idk.

The most based I’ve seen coney. The halo take and Selkirk take are perfect.
So, normally I would agree with Coney when he says "let games have spinoffs." But the *timing* of Federation Force was the issue. Federation Force was the first Metroid related thing the fandom had gotten in nearly a **DECADE** after the highly polarizing and unpopular Other M, and it was a multiplayer only 3DS spin off game. It'd be like F-Zero getting a party game announced tomorrow. A massive slap in the face to people who love the franchise. If Federation Force came out today, with two successful and well-regarded Metroid titles in the past couple of years and Prime 4 in its nebulous state, it'd be received with a lot less hostility.
It's crazy how much fortnite I played without ever learning how to build and without ever encountering those sweaty builders everyone's bitching about.
I mostly played the team deathmatch esque mode and usually most of the lobby does know how to do that shit and its just kind of annoying (I never learned how to build either because its just doesnt feel good for me)

Sekiro was the souls game I couldn't finish. I run strength build for every game. So a game where your locked into a dex build with mandatory parry wasn't for me.
I would rather games take longer and be fresh. I got omega bored of the yearly release games like Madden, CoD, Fifa, ect. Used to buy a bunch of em every time and was fine with it but I got burned out so I just don't bother with yearly games anymore. Haven't bought a new CoD since the original Modern Warfare.

Saying that if Killzone came first it would be the legendary franchise people talk about is like saying that if another game that wasn't as good as Mario came before Mario then it would be the Revolutionary game.
