There is very little education in the African continent, it's perfectly understandable that much of their countryside is taken up with roaming wild animals, the conservationists make things worse, as they prevent people from building the towns and infrastructure that people need, and without infrastucture, there are no jobs and no way to earn an income, and so civil unrest becomes normal.
There is hope for Africa's people however, as China builds the infrastructure they need. As more homes are provided and jobs are created, there will be much less mass movement of people to other countries. Had Foreign Aid been used for this purpose, instead of building military prowess, we would not be having this problem now, unfortunately corruption is at the very heart of it all.

Faith is a belief in things that can't be seen. Even today, religion plays a massive part in people's lives. In general mankind has a spiritual need, can't explain it, but it's plain to see. Unfortunately it can, in many cases cause conflict. Therfore all religions can't be right if you apply logic. i.e one religion will go to war, and another won't. It comes down to a personal search, not what an individual wants to believe, but, what God states is the correct path.

People like this are the reason why religiousness is in decline and I'm grateful for that.
The main problem of allowing small boats into the country is that it creates a pull factor and will just encourage more people to make that dangerous crossing, not to mention crossing the Sahara or the Mediterranean. If you say that you care about these people and want to stop them making these journeys then in the long term it's actually kinder not to accept them because otherwise all you're doing is drawing more people towards Europe and the UK.

Without strict, sensible migration limits, the UK will certainly deteriorate to the level of the countries that the immigrants originate from. The only question is the speed of that deterioration.

My C of E local churches over the years have struggled with leaking roofs, poor decoration, heating costs etc. Yet Welby is utterly silent and does nothing to help but always pleases support for others. Denominations across the globe are leaving the C of E! I wonder why!!

@@MrOlly0perhaps it is because the Ukrainians are mainly woman and children seeking refuge while their husbands and fathers are at home giving their lives to defend their country that is at the moment being blown to pieces. Whereas the boat people are mainly men who appear to have deserted their wives, mothers, children, who is looking after them? They are arriving from countries that area not at war such as France.
I know three families that took in Ukrainians. All of them went to Poland after a few months.
I have a spare room, but I don’t want a person from another country, who I don’t know living in it……and no, I’m not racist……those who want the people to all be welcomed here…..start filling up their homes up first, see how long they hold the same stance
