@@PSNMyfoot The point is that many people tunnel their efforts onto flashy combos in practice, instead of developing the fundamentals that will provide opportunities to use those combos at all in real games.
Yeah, not used to games that make you work for your combos so this helps. It's good to know what to look for and it's next on my list of things to learn. Knowing combo strings is all good, but being able to put it into practice... that's what this is here. Subbed.
Literally picked this game up yesterday and picked ramlethal as my starter character cos I thought she was cool and was hoping to find videos on her which you’ve provided for me and many others. Thanks alot, this definitely makes and helps me wanna pick up this character and learn more about the game
Dang bro all these guides, at this rate you're gonna end up doing match up guides on Ram vs every other character lmao Appreciate the guides man I'll be getting the game tomorrow, I think I can at least enjoy it on a very casual level but also some of the things people are finding with characters has me somewhat hopeful.
I'm planning to cover other characters in addition to Ram eventually, Strive grind is real! I hope as i said before that Strive will click with you, so much depth is being discovered in the last few days which is really exciting!
Congrats on 10K, Bachiru! Your content has been great lately, been learning so much from you! Would love to watch actual games with Ram in future videos. Keep it up brother ^^
I know some people get mad when CZcamsrs tell you to subscribe, but I've been watching your Ram videos this whole time without being subscribed and I didn't even know. Sorry bro.
The 6P thing makes sense to me. The devs have said that they really want safer options to give significantly less reward than more riskier options. Of course when you think “jab” you don’t think risky, but it’s significantly riskier when you consider 6Ps massive upper body invincibility. So I guess it’s like if you have the balls to time a 5P or K and get the solid hit instead of just going for the basically impossible to screw up 6P you should get rewarded for it.
@@Bachiru it definitely is. It’s just not nearly as safe as 6P. I’m sure 5P would lose easily to Ram j.H for example whereas 6P probably wins easily. But I think it’s all specifically designed this way. 6P causes an immediate downed state when hitting an aerial opponent in return for the big invincibility.
I’m able to do a cs > fs > hs > (dash) red rc > 2hs > 236s > (dash) k > 6hs > 236hs, if I’m close nough upon landing the hs, but I can’t seem to do it for the purple Roman cancel version, my Ram doesn’t go far enough nor on time.
How do I set the input buffer properly? Sorry if this is a dumb question.. but I’ve had some struggles with buffered inputs in other games (e.g. smash)
I believe if i'm not mistaken that Strive has a 3-4 frames input delay by default so try to adjust your execution accordingly, there are no input buffer setting as far as i'm aware so i'd recommend you work on muscle memory to nail the combos every time
In the part with confirming the staggered inputs. How do you make the part after HS connect? I can see that you are doing some half-circle motion with punch before doing the sliding purple RC, but I can’t to understand what is that move.
Is it just me, or does Sol continuously jumping part cause something like nausea when watching it? It feels odd how the camera bobs up and down like that.
@@Bachiru Oh no worries, it is not your fault. It made me hold off on buying it yesterday, since I want to make sure that it isn't a problem during normal gameplay for me. So your video actually helped :)
“dude combos are nice but what about doing things in actual match scenarios” AMEN. SUBSCRIBED.
I never understood this notion that stuff you do in training isn't doable on a real match...That's the whole point...

Welcome to the Ram army!
Great content as always, Bachiru. Can't wait to shred through the PC lobbies tomorrow
Have fun, less than 24 hours for PC release!
Do we know what time it’ll be released on Steam?

Honestly your videos are immensely valuable, I watch each of the ram videos everyday before I decide what to lab today.
That makes me really happy hearing that :), I'm glad the videos help my fellow Ram players!
As a aspiring Ram main, thank you.
dude this helped me a lot... i just learned so much in the past 2 hours labbing using this video to figure shit out! thank you! subbed!!
The goat Ram youtuber, thank you so much for these ❤️
My pleasure!

Honestly with how good 5P hitboxes are in this game i feel like it's relatively safe to stuff some air approaches with that button
@@Bachiru it definitely is.

Welcome aboard!
Great videos on Ram who is my favorite nest to Anji. Is it possible to get a vid on mix ups especially with Roman cancels. 🤙🏾🤙🏾
Hey there i'm working on Ram's mix game video but needs some time in order to make it as complete as i can!
If only I knew what hit confirming was XD
Hit confirming is when you:
1- See your attack hit and continue into a combo
2- See your attack block and continue to pressure or back out
I’m able to do a cs > fs > hs > (dash) red rc > 2hs > 236s > (dash) k > 6hs > 236hs, if I’m close nough upon landing the hs, but I can’t seem to do it for the purple Roman cancel version, my Ram doesn’t go far enough nor on time.
You should dash RC to land the combo
+1
Thanks for the guides. Question do you use the d-pad or analog stick when doing supers. I have a lot if trouble doing the double 236 motion.
I play on stick but on controller i prefer to use d-pad for QCF motions as the error margin is much less than analog

How do you do the setup at 3:02? Every time I try to connect a jK right after the 236H PRC, the jK whiffs.
Do the JK at the maximum high after you float PRC
In the part with confirming the staggered inputs. How do you make the part after HS connect? I can see that you are doing some half-circle motion with punch before doing the sliding purple RC, but I can’t to understand what is that move.
My bad, it’s her dp. Managed to do it now, great video!
you got it!
Would you be willing to make a ramlethal counter combo guide?
I'm working on a Ram optimization guide and i'll be including a combo section there so i'll make sure to have the CH stuff in there!
1:45 How do u get so close after a roman cancel? i am no where near Sol once i do it.
You have to dash cancel your roman cancel, it's called RC drift
@@Bachiru Im assuming that is by pressing dash after roman cancelling?
For the air drift rc cancels can you use the dash button and press up or do i have to press up twice?
you can do Up with Dash button
@@Bachiru thanks I tried it out but I'm not very used to the drift rc yet so i can't consistently pull it off yet
@@Anjaruchi I'm working on a video right now that teaches RC drift so stay tuned!
Is it just me, or does Sol continuously jumping part cause something like nausea when watching it? It feels odd how the camera bobs up and down like that.
I noticed it also during editing and i'm sorry it's jarring to look at, camera motions are weird in Strive
