This was their debut hit
Over the short time the band was together, they recorded songs in multiple genres: blues, rockabilly, folk-rock, soft rock, hard rock, prog rock, music hall, show tunes...picking a favorite is impossible!
Dude, why would you forgot the psychedelic rock. They practicly invented it.
Definitely go in chronological order! Their evolution is mind blowing!!
In 6 American viewed years. Every 2 was a mind blow change in looks, clothes, lyrics, arrangements and on and on. Every 2 years they could be loosely considered completely different bands. And every 2 back all the way to the Quarrymen.
Wait until they hear Helter Skelter 🤪 …6 years later 😮
I could list em ALL to listen to. yes go chronologically. Experience the magical changes in mere months over mere years. A library still going strong. 70 years after! Hard Days Night they wrote over night on a matchbook cover when the movie producer said they needed to have it done by the next day. Crazy.
You literally listen to them grow up.
@@josephtingley654 Good way to put it.
They look young because they were. They were still in their twenties when they spilt up seven years after this.
The Beatles, during their recording career, 1962 to 1970, were John, Paul, George, and Ringo. The others were various members during their formative years 1956 to 1961.
I was 9 when this hit the U.S.. I will be 70 this summer. I am so glad I had their music in my life!
The Beatles - Strawberry Fields Forever. Promotional film from 1967. Psychedelic rock.
Love the very early Beatles music. These are the songs that started Beatlemania.
This is as early a United States Beatles hit as you can get. Their first original release. I cannot stress enough how early in their career this is. But four years later they were setting the standard in recording and everyone was following.
This is only the beginning. These were some of their first songs on the radio. We all thought the same thing as you. Catchy, smart and cool. They only get better ....
The boys were only in their early 20’s when they dropped they’re first record, and they were already doing shows the years prior. Incredible how talented they were at such a young age
Their, not they’re (which means they are). Just thought you’d like to know.
I agree with those who said to go in chronological order. It’s really the best way to see their phenomenal rate of development over a relatively short period of time (only about 8 years).
Greatest band in music history❤
False....many more bands are better than the Beatles.
@@stevens5541 LIKE Oasis and Kasabian!....lol says the guy who is into Beat;les inspired bands...Massive size Punt this guy is!
False, the Beatles are consistently voted number one by their peers.@@stevens5541
@@stevens5541Yeah? Who, for instance?
@stevens5541 As Tom Petty stated, There were the Beatles, and then there was every body else. Jeff Lynn, Ozzy Osborne, Neil Young, and dozens more agreed.
The change soon to come in their music is astonishing. The early music is incredible, but by '65, '66, they were going someplace else. Each song would sound different but was immediately recognizable as The Beatles. Each was around 30 years old when they broke up. Agree with the suggestions to go in chronological order. They quickly went from great rock and roll to amazing music that will live forever. Alchemy.
Like I mentioned in your last Beatles reaction, to this day, The Beatles are the biggest selling music act in music history, and nobody else even comes close. They have the most #1 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 (with 20) and 35 overall top 10 hits. I'm gonna make the same recommendation that I did in your last Beatles reaction, which is that you consider doing full Beatle album reviews. They are that amazing, and evolved so much in their 8 year recording history. Many other reactors have done the same thing, and they are some of the best music reaction videos on CZcams. I would start with the Beatles 1st album (Please, Please Me), then go in chronological order right through to their final released album, "Let it Be", and then finally, their last recorded album, "Abbey Road".
Peace
You will love "She's leaving home" Another song of the Beatles (1967)
The harmony was special because Paul and John;s voices are special and even more special harmonizing. You will hear this magic the more songs you listen to
The four Beatles are John Paul George and Ringo. The only band to be known by their first names.
This is their first ever single. They developed at an insane pace between then and their breakup.
LMD is a Bop that's also a vibe. It's a sleeper hit. I think the opening of the song is deceptively "pedestrian". I can imagine being in a Club in 1962, early 1963, in London or wherever, and hearing this song...I'm sure I would start tapping my hands on the table, nodding my head and then the vibe would take over. What I might have thought of as a "disposable" song develops into a smooth, chill, Bop, you know? It grows on you and Paul's vocal is kind of smokey, right? Cool stuff!
I personally love all the Beatles music but some of my favorite songs are from Rubber Soul. Songs like Norwegian Wood, Nowhere Man, I'm Looking Through You, In My Life, and Michelle.
This is the first song from the first album. The first song recorded with the line-up they ended with. John, Paul, George and Ringo. They did some recording before this, but they are not really considered proper recordings.
Their early hits(all topped the charts), in chronological order:"Please please me", "From me to you", "She loves you", "I want to hold your hand".
Twist and Shout is more of a R&B rocker!
If you could continue on this wonderful Beatles journey in chronological order, you are in for so much delight. And I am very excited for you (and for me). After all they are your countrymen, if I am not mistaken. Liverpudlians. You are British, right? Thanks and God Bless!
Thank you! We’re excited and yes we’re British from Birmingham :)
@@RNDReacts Great idead to keep in chronological order to experience the evoulution of the band as it happened, enjoy your great reactions, Thanks!
@@RNDReactsThank you! Love your videos! You are a beautiful couple and your British accent is a bonus (cherry on top, so to speak). Thanks and God Bless!
Went to #17 in fall 1962 on the British charts. Before, they were just considered a "maybe, novelty act." When they came back to record again, it was more like "Hello Boys, glad to see ya."
Love Me Do , to me is a real fun song and gets to the point too. The Beatles are Great. So many Big Hits.
This was their first release in the UK. It's probably their simplest song, it topped at #15, not good enough for their producer. So he brought them a song by a professional song writer that he knew would be a #1 hit. That's a big deal for a producer to bring a band a great song to record. But they told him they had their own #1 hit song to record. He wasn't happy with them until he heard them play 'Please, Please Me'. He said "gentlemen you've just recorded your first #1 hit". The rest is history!
This is about as rudimentary as The Beatles got; it was their first record. A few years later they'd do something like "Strawberry Fields Forever. " c
Because of the simplicity of recording back then, you got such a clean natural sound...If they played it live in your living room, it would sound about as same as the record.
the greatest band ever!
I was 15 at the time, & I liked to have the volume up for the bass beat to feel it in the floor. I'm still a fan of a strong beat.
Thank you, great reaction!
This is pure ear candy! I was in the 5th grade and our homeroom teacher said the Beatles were a passing fad and we'd forget about them in 6 months. Has a person ever been more wrong about anything?
I was singing along with them😂❤
You'll probably love "in my life" nicely crafted song mainly lyric...
Pete Best, Stu Sutcliff were very early band members. The “true” Beatles, on records are John, Paul, George, and Ringo.
Yeah, like everyone else has said, play their music chronologically. I'm going to really enjoy watching and sharing your Beatles journey. Favourite Beatles song? Impossible. 💜✌🕊☮
If you react to their output chronologically (obviously not everything, they were enormously prolific), then you'll get an idea of just how quickly they developed, how they dragged the rest of the popular music train along behind them and what a massive range of styles they were able to master.
Happy listening!
Seems you and the Beatles are a great match.
Great! Love to see you experience the Beatles for the first time!
Although there were a few different very early members, the classic Beatles were John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr.
I strongly suggest that you listen to the rest of the songs on the "Please Please Me" album.
here comes the sun (BOTH GOERGES) WHILE MY GUITAR GENTLY WHEEPS (LATER SONGS) a day in a life (john) penny lane (pauls)
Try "I saw her standing there" from same album.
Do chronological order they have such a depth of great songs it will take a while to complete but you'll see how they progressed form their earlier pop style to incorporating more sophisticated sounds that were unheard of before for pop and rock songs. Your audience will guide you to songs and give some context to the songs and the great cultural changes happening during this period.
This was their very first single released.
Any Beatles will be different to every other one so take your pick. They covered a wide spectrum. A left field suggestion - try Because which was probably the closest they got to doing a classical music piece (based initially on Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata)
Please do “Things We Said Today” and “Not a Second Time”! Two great “deep cuts”!
Look up Wings (Paul McCartney). & the George Harrison Band. Formed after the Beatles broke up, Also John & Yoko (which didn't last long due to johns untimely death).
Remember that there are about 210 songs recorded and released by the Beatles We don't mind if you listen to all of them.
Do the songs Ticket to Ride, Drive My Car, Paperback Writer, and Eight Days a Week: all super catchy with great riffs!
Check out Mother Nature's Son -- maybe it's on Revolver, maybe 1966. Gorgeous song sung as only the young McCartney could sing.
The hard rocking "teddy" performers of late '50s Hamburg were turned into a boy-band by their manager (BrianEpstein), which led to "beatlemania" and super-pop stardom by 1963...
In the following 6+ yrs they evolved rapidly&dramatically into the greatest pop band of all time! They had a huge influence on youth culture, and stamped diverse aspects of the revolutionary counterculture.
I look fwd to watching you 2 trace that evo in your chrono reactions.
Excuse me, but The Beatles were NEVER a boy band. It’s really insulting to label them that way. Boy bands do not generally write their own music or play their own instruments.
The Beatles first release. Contrary to popular myth, Ringo Starr DID play on the first release of this song (not this one) before George Martin (and I think McCartney) decided they didn’t like the drumming and re-recorded it with Andy White. Ringo played the tambourine on the one here. Any versions sold in ‘62 feature Ringo and any from ’63 feature Andy White. The original has hand claps instead of tambourine and much smoother harmonica from Lennon
For a hard rocker from the Beatles listen to shelter Skelter. I also agree chronological order.
You need to do more Beatles
Gonna record some more Beatles reactions after the weekend
The oldest one is Ringo, he was 22. The youngest was George he was probably 19 almost 20. He ended up writing some of their best songs.
THE BEATLES did there whole discography in 12 years none of them even reaching the age of 30..George Harrison the youngest had only turned 27 by the time they broke up..What a Band all that in 12 years!
Overrated
@@stevens5541 sshh you bald punt!

I think I'll Follow the Sun should be the next one, because it's kinda western love Song!
61 1/2 years ago.
React to their song “Please Please Me”.
👍👍
Y'all should definitely check out elvis presley if i can dream it was a tribute to MLK
при записи в OBS Studio можно покрутить микшер микрофона избавляясь от шума. -6.5db стоит у меня в найтройках. 10000 битрейта вполне хватит для хорошего видео, 1060 6gb справляется с этой задачей
a day in the life from beatles, my favorite of all time.
Boring song
@@stevens5541 its your opinion
Can you imagine today’s musicians using only the technology and equipment these guys had? What would today’s music sound like if they were limited to making their own sound and recording it ‘as is’….no edits?
That would be fascinating! It would really show who’s actually skilled musicians, and actual talented people would get a lot more credit and exposure if it was like this today
Top selling musicians of all time, but this early hit was far from their best.
It's Beatles, what could we say, also nice sister you have there, very cute...top👌
3 different syles in there time,,all over before they were age30
The only Beatles you need to know are the Fab 4: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.
only 4 in the band
They are in their 20ies no one was 30 when they quit 69
Are you guys familiar with Wikipedia?
And on the eighth day the gods sent the Beatles to give humanity a message.
That was nowhere near a country vibe in 1962, Country music has evolved a lot since then.
