What about fan noise? Hardware Canucks state that the front causes alot of turbulence. True?
I have the old one in box for about a year now, because I haven't gotten around on building in it yet. While I do like the fact there's more possibilities for cooling and there are more cable grommets on the XL, I still like the smaller form factor more
Are there cases you recommend for a silent PC? Or all this cases more or less silent?
Will the fractal north XL fit the dark rock pro 5? Im using an msi x670e carbon wifi in my new build
I have this but the slim version and it's amazing. Best case I have used.
I wish Fractal had added more hard drive space like the Meshify XL. It would have been nice to use those extra brackets they sell to add drives.
I downloaded the manual for this today and still couldn't really tell how many 3.5 " hard drives you can throw in it. (I know but I like my raids internal :))
i really prefer cases without that bottom shroud above psu because aio tubes on top is a bad idea i prefer have it on botton of radiator but it´s sometimes an issue because of that
why would you put the radiator in the fron?
how is the gpu supposed to breathe

The Greatest Case That's Ever Lived
Fractal torrent and north are the two cases which I find to be something different than the usual cases seen around . I like fractal design for that. And this is the exact channel where I was introduced to both of them. Thank you Tech notice

I got the grey one. Fits so nice to a grey/black B550 Tomahawk and the Peerless Assassine 120SE and the grey 7900xtx nitro+. Overall kinda steel-ish badass looking. Best airflow Ive ever experienced on a case.

Small? I got a 4080 super in mine. Id say the downside is the super dark glass so you can't show off your Noctua.

Me, my wife, and most of all mother and particularly her interior design senses not being triggered by a case that looks out of place, are all very happy with this boring yet stylish design, perfectly blending in with your furniture (as you’ve also mentioned in the video).
So, if any of you want to make your parents or in-laws proud & actually seem like a dude with interior design feel, this case is for you.

I'm sorry but the configuration of your AIO cpu cooler is terrible. Gamer's Nexus talks about how it would kill the pump. Great review though!
The only thing wrong with the old version was that it couldn't fit a 360 on the top and the new intel cpus need a 360. You had to rig it up to fit a 360 in the front but then you just blow hot air into your case. That's it, it just needed room for a 360 AIO on top, nobody asked for a giant, louder, more cheaply made version, just make a normal one that supports a 360. The hunt for a good case continues.
huh? you get fresh air out of the front and on the top hot air goes out, completely opposite of what you said
But you usually want to be exhausting out the top since heat rises, so just put the 360 on the front...

Honestly, it's quite a disappointing case. For 300,000 KRW (about $300), it should have been sturdier and provided easier access to both the front and top fan brackets.
here in Germany its about 180€ oO
please stop advertising these windows key sites, those guys hack you a few months after you get the key and empty your bank acct
Looks ugly
I dont like fractal. the rustic wood front kinda ugly brown. here in Joshua tree ca I am removing all brown wood in my house including the cheap pressed wood kitchen cabinets. going for retro 50's metal cabinets. also lots of house fires here in ca and its hard to get house insurance due to fires.
Unfortunately still too small to install two 4090s. It's a shame that for really large systems you're only ever left with the "ugly" solutions.
Nevermind. I simply made my own wood panel front for the Meshify 2XL. hehe.
