I have the h700zm versionand upgraded RAM to 64gb and 4tb ssd. How do i make sure its running to its fastest potential. Im a content creator for youtube videos, wedding videos and photo editing. Thanks in advance for any help that i can make sure speed for ram is fastes and cpu. I have the nvidia 3060 6gb 12th hen i7-12700H.

Hi! I'm planning to get this processor for faster export times in Lightroom Classic. I currently have a Ryzen 5 3600 and exporting 1000 raws from my Nikon Z5 24mp takes 47min to finish. How much of an improvement will I get if I upgrade to 14700k? Need your help and advice because it's either I upgrade my PC or get a Macbook Pro 14. Not doing much Video Editing, just lots of photos in Lightroom Classic.

Including a built-in battery is nice. This is very useful in places with frequent outages (if you don't have UPS backup). You get enough time to save your work.

I'm disappointed with its idle power draw of 13W - I think it should arguably go way lower, given that it's built on laptop hardware. I don't know if possibly that huge power adapter brick might be the reason - doesn't look like a high efficiency adapter. Even the standby power draw is 2 watts. If you buy a Lenovo or HP 1L mini PC, which is built on desktop CPU technology, actually you can get around 6W of idle power draw.

You have to match Ram Speed, not only for the Motherboard but also for the CPU you using. You using an older CPU 6000mhz ram will probably be to much as why it crashes

And the thing is 'It doesn't matter'. Why? Because most slots are x4 and even if it uses x2 slots on Gen5 they are not doing anything great by sparing extra x2 slots. They just wanted to market it as Gen 5 that's it.

linux is a platform where they really can shine, if only intel get hang of it.. they need to stop this gaming nonsense and make things for creators. sure they have those acl cards to give more performance for render speeds but that thing is for movie makers, not "creators". we need working profiles for these arc gpus for kdenlive.

I recently made a new build I needed thunderbolt for my audio interface, I had an old built and it was working fine using a gaming board asrock z370 and add on thunderbolt card . Until I upgraded the power supply from 550w to 850w it made my sound sound very fat with no bass on board and even though the interface like if the signal was affected by something. Then I did a new build with z790 asus strix f and asus thunderbolt 4 ex card and 850w psu same happened the sound wasn’t the same I think the motherboard reacts to the power or doesn’t control it very well. I ordered a asus proart z790 with the same components just that one has thunderbolt built in and it sounds way better the on board audio and through my Apollo interface now I have that punchy bass again . So idk what it is but the motherboard makes a difference on sound signal

Put powerful chip in there (amd 7940 HS), more powerful battery (like 70Whr) , then may be remove the screen .. you got yourself a powerful (much more than a laptop) mini PC that is as portable as a laptop with extra portable monitor and Bluetooth mini-keyboard/mouse

Will this air cooler be good enough to cool an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D? Maybe just normal daily gaming, browsing the internet etc. Not for production work.
