- We’ve had a 2016 WR450F in our project bike stable for six months now, but it became apparent right from the get-go that one of this bike’s biggest advantages is the ease with which you can alter its engine character via the Power Tuner tool.
Transmoto’s Andy Wigan offers up an insight into his experience with this new-gen Yamaha, and more specifically, how easily and effectively its ECU mapping can be altered to suit differing terrain, rider preferences and engine mods.

Can you tell me if GYTR Power Tuner is for yamaha 250 lander?
What would be a good map for a yz450f big bore kit to a 470cc?
Best bet is to take it to guy who knows how to use the gytr tool and dyno.

This can be used to limit the power? Like the bike go just 60 kph?
would'nt limit the power as such, just adjusting low, middle and top end performance due to your preferred style, after more power then add an aftermarket pipe, remove muffler, or hell... bore it out to a 499cc
Where would I get those plastics please?

This works on the stock bike, or do you need to spend extra dollars on a different ECU also?
it works on the stock bike
