- Crashes, spins, fails and highlights from the Total 24 hours of Spa 2019 by the Blancpain GT endurance series and the support program that consisted of the FFSA GT4, Lamborghini Super Trofeo, Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup and the Porsche GT2 Clubsport.
I sadly did not manage to film the 24 Hour race very well. This is because of the rain and darkness made it very hard for my camcorder to focus correctly. Due to the water my camera also had a tendency to zoom out constantly, what also did not help.
(re-upload because the previous version containded multiple mistakes, I haven't slept tonight to film all the 24hr action, which might have been the cause) - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Give this guy a job on the blancpain camera crew, he does a better job ;)
Atleast I got the crashes (most of the time)
I fan NOT explain HOW DANGEROUS the crash at 3:28 is. And heck the one after it. My god. Same type of Antoine Huber accident.
1:28 *wait a minute*
It s a very good Vidio
Nice spot... Is it hard to get tickets for Eau Rouge? Planning to visit 24h nürburgring or spa next year.
You should definitely get tickets for the paddock too, first time I was there for the 24. Best race ever
General admission gets you there
As Ruud indeed says, GA gets you up eau rouge. On the saturday it only gets very busy there, so its adviceable to be there early
Thanks guys for the answers!
@@RonnieAttema Mooi weekendje weer. Vaste stek in de Raidillon. Ik zag je staan, zal je volgend jaar even gedag zeggen ;)
Nice Video! Annoying that they put up that pole with the little orange box in front of one of the best camera holes.
Thanks. The boxes are also very annoying indeed
Why didn’t the other cars slow down @2:00? Suspension failure is a bastard. What the hell
I'm guessing since the corner is uphill, they couldn't see the car until they were at the top and only had limited space to evade.
I noticed on the TV feed that there were no ladders up here with lads filming. I'm guessing you were told not too by the useless TV crews
Yes, 2 years ago they made it illegal to stand with a ladder at the 24h sadly
I think there is a rule now that ladders can only have 3 steps or so.
Raidillon bites hard...
hello following a presentation, could you send me the video of the crash of the alpine in the steep slope. I was the chief post during this intervention.
I don't have the footage on a disk anymore myself. If you want you can just download the video using greasyfork.org/en/scripts/369400-local-youtube-downloader for example
Kevin?
A corner-cutting fest.
2:05-2:13 - the other drivers on track seemingly just blasted through the debris as if nothing had happened.
Because it's at the top of a hill the drivers can't see the debris until they hit it. It's a good job the car wasn't on the racing line!
@@jayhearsey I thought yellow flags would be out there, and the other drivers would heed them.
@@TheJokerit19 yes yellow flags can tell the cars to slow down, but they can't tell the other drivers where the car or debris field is. The cars probably didn't slow down much anyway because if you slow down too much under a yellow you lose track position to the cars in front
Die meneer op 2:01 schreeuwt geloof ik iets heel liefs
1:58 bad timing for a puncture
It wasn't even a puncute, his enire front wheel came loose
@@RonnieAttema oh sorry my bad
@@RonnieAttema wow I didn't realise that until now. Well spotted!
I also only saw it thanks to his onboard footage
2:24 thats not the 24h of spa
You're right that's the FFSA GT4 Championship, in this video you find all the crashes that happened in the main race and in the support series it seems like.
Mani 1610 yeah but the title of the video say 24h of spa
they need to put a concrete bollard at top of Raidillon to make the drivers respect it more.
