Nassau County Cricket Stadium: You WON'T BELIEVE What They Just Did! 😮

Sharing another update on the Nassau international cricket stadium in New York which is slated to host 8 games in the 9th staging of the icc t20 cricket World Cup. See from a Birds Eye view what has taken place since the last video. Please like share if you want to see more. #cricket
As of May 1, 2024, construction of the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York is nearing completion!
Here's a quick progress update:
The East Stand, which will seat 12,500 fans, is nearly finished.
Cranes have been busy installing the modular framework for the stands.
The outfield has been laid and the crucial playing pitches have been transported and installed.
The stadium is on track to be completed by May 21st, with a trial event scheduled for May 27th. The first official match, Sri Lanka vs South Africa, will be played on June 3rd.
Cricket fans are eagerly awaiting the completion of this state-of-the-art stadium, which will be a major boost to cricket in the United States.

It's great to to see a decent cricket stadium in Nassau County, New York. It just seems like a waste for the stadium to be torn down after the T20 World Cup. It should stay and be the Home Stadium for the MI New York Team in the Major League Cricket season.

I really second that thought, it should remain and use it to build up cricket in New York and USA in general. But we don't know the agreement that they came to with the county. I think they leased that space temporarily. You know everything is a business so if it's not gonna make them billions regularly they won't consider it.

Worst looking cricket stadium ever with worst capacity looks more or less like lite version of Manchester Cricket stadium,
Stadium capacity should be minimum 90k
