Thanks , fuel pickup clogged with a tiny piece of debris because of not having the mesh filter. Made one from an old stainless steel french press filter. Running great!

I hate adjusting governors , it's such a tedious process . Great video Robby . I know it's older but I'm trying to get caught up on your videos. Take care and catch you on your next one.

I have a go kart with this engine that’s a 3 horse power that won’t start. Can I just take the governor all the way off?

Leave the governor on and get it running. You could remove the governor once you get it running but you will barely know the difference. With the governor off you will eventually break something in the engine because the excessive rpm.

Sloppy repair work! You used old gaskets plus used old gas without cleaning the tank or the carburetor. The Governor didn't need adjusting thats why it has a throttle and a spring. for adjustment. If you watch a you tube Governor adjustment video instead of making your own you would under stand how a governor works and is set. Video's like this can cause others to destroy a piece of equipment.
