In September of 1959 Nikita Khrushchev and his wife along with other Russian dignitaries visited the set of the 20th Century Fox film Can-Can which was in production. Frank Sinatra, Shirley MacLaine, Louis Jordan, Juliet Prowse, Maurice Chevalier and fellow cast members entertained the visitors, and Sinatra introduced musical selections from the film soundtrack, excerpts of which are heard in this rare audio broadcast. The film had not yet been released, and film buffs will note that the Sinatra-MacLaine duet of "Let's Do It, Let's Fall In Love" includes verses of the song that were later deleted from the film / film soundtrack.
