    Bangalore has always given my bands a platform and opportunities that’s rarely seen in any other city in this country. Grateful to be a part of a movement & building new traditions that continues. Can’t wait for next year - Bandland Forever!

    Bangalore's rock music scene has gone down. Nowadays it's shitty Bollywood music everywhere. Earlier there were lot of pubs like Styx, Purple Haze, Pecos, Legends of Rock which used to keep the rock scene alive but only Pecos is left now. Among the live music festivals Bangalore Open Air is going strong. Hope for a rock scene revival with Rock fests like Bandlands.

    7:04 "There Hasn't been a rock festival or rock in this version, forever"? What about the Great Indian Rock festival and Amit Saigal?

    • @BanteringRam
      @BanteringRam Před 6 měsíci +3

      Don't take that 'forever' literally! 😊 It was probably said in the sense of 'in a long time' and it has been a long time since Amit and GIR. Of course, it's perhaps a dig or wilful ignoring of another rock festival that's revived in another city 😜
