Apple really needs to release a lot more watch faces
This is one of the only tech channels on CZcams that provides consistent information and updates and absolutely never click baits.
Please, never change.
They should use the button for âsmart stacksâ. It makes no sense that itâs appearing with a swipe up.
It feels more intuitive so far, but I hope they provide an option in a future update that allows you to choose that option and swipe up for control center
i think they should leave this choise to users there should be and option for this

I'm the most excited about this release of all the software upgrades this year! Got my Apple Watch Series 8 in January and it was my first one. However it was very outdated though the OS. So glad they finally do an overhaul of the software. Can't wait for the full release.

Downloaded WatchOS 10 a couple hours ago and I already love it! I don't know if I will encounter some bugs, but I've been running iOS 17 on my main device and seems to be pretty stable for the apps I use. I'm very impressed with Apple with their updates this month!
The best part about this update is the redesigned grid view. I think itâs now better than list view
The waypoint to last cellular connection is huge for us backcountry campers. Amazing!!
Love that watch band. Nomad makes great products. Still havenât updated to the Ultra, but when I do, Iâll be picking that band up.

Lots of good updates, but i wish they could give you the opportunity to customize the individual types if workouts. For example. I whis I could update the cross country skiing tracking so that it tracks excactly the same as the running tracking.

One difference Iâve noticed is that the Wayfinder watch face cannot now use the crown to set âredâ night mode as this is now used for widgets. In fact the ânightâ mode is now triggered automatically by the ambient light sensor. Night mode can be configured in the Wayfinder watch face edit page.
I have all the betas now . also on my apple watch 7 . getting the ultra next week . how is the battery running on the ultra with the beta so far ?

Hi Aaron - in watchOS 9, they removed the ability to hide details of a notification if âraise wrist to wakeâ is switched off (for example prior to watchOS 9, if someone sent a message youâd see a notification with just their and the app names whereas with watchOS 9, it always shows the message text itself). Apple told me theyâd fix it in a future version so I wondered if theyâd fixed it Iâm watchOS 10 because itâs a major privacy concern.
Do you lose the functionality to scroll the crown and turn the watch face red?
Is there a way to switch back to the old method of bringing up the control center? I donât really care about smart stacks.

How does the wayfinder watch face work with watch os10? How do you get the night mode as that is done by using the crown wheel, which now would bring up widgets.
So is every option available for series 8? Or are differences?
Since turning the digital crown in watchOS 10 brings up the new smart stack screen, whats that gonna mean for any of the watchfaces that animate when the crown is turned? Like the kaleidoscope, or the pride woven. Are they just gonna stop being animated?
I wanted to try this but I would need to update my main device to iOS 17 but the Apple tap to pay terminal app I use for my customers doesnât support the beta build so I will have to wait,also some banking apps may not be supported with beta builds so be careful,canât downgrade a beta watch build easily
I donât like that you have to press the side button for the control center. You can bring up the stack thing via a crown rotation so why should that take the swipe up gesture as well
Great video as always. It's nice but yer no way people should be running this as yet. Very early days and icons not working for me on my main page for triggering exercise and other little bugs that are bound to be present in beta 1.

Have they added any improvements to the ultra action button yet? Would love to assign a different action for each focus mode
You can do this through shortcuts I believe. I saw a video a while ago where someone did this. Iâll see if I can find their Chanel name as I forgot

I use the accessibility feature on Apple Watch (Pinch, Double pinch and Clench) to access apps and features I hope the new watchOS hasnât changed or removed that feature.

you missed two small things, the main app shelve changed its design and also when you scroll the crown on activity the design also changed. Also the notification center now has a background color that matches the watch background

For the snoopy watch face - they are supposed to be semi interactive - is that the case ? A lot of awesome features but that may be the reason if I try the beta or not .

When I was going for a swim today after I got watchOS 10 | was looking at my Watch and the calories were at zero the whole swim. I recommend wait until the public beta iOS 10 to get beta on your Apple Watch.

OK so it seems you have to have a digital watch face in order to have the same in the Smart Stack. Not really fair because then I canât use any analog faces. I hope it's just a glitch and something that is going to be fixed going forward.
What about Metropolitan watch face which use wheel to change density of clock number?

I have been running the beta of watch os 10 and the iOS 17 on my 13 pro max I haven't notice any different in my battery life I however have seen that the messages app is really buggie when it comes to sending text messages

Hello Aaron mm from india and using 16.5 on 13pro max . Mm not able use 5g on esim . Stand-alone option is not available any more . As you are developer please report to Apple and help us to fix this issue . Big fan of you good job thnx for keeping update us đ

You have the option of changing a watch face to night mode permanently or the option for auto.
The current now playing screen not showing the artwork in the foreground but just blurring it in the background looks much better. The new one makes it look like a knock of Apple Watch.
I am loving everything about WatchOS 10, except I think they did away with night mode. Where you could turn the digital crown and it would turn the face red on the wayfinder watch face. Anyone know if its still there and I'm just not finding it? Thanks Aaron for your very informative videos!!
Iâve read it still is there. I think it now requires a press of the side button along with scrolling the crown.
@@craigfisher1937 Thank you for the information. I just tried that actually tried both buttons individually and together while scrolling and it just brings up the option to shutdown the watch. It's not a big deal if they did remove it. I just well, kinda liked it when I went out at night to use night mode.
â ââ @@TechJB65 I saw another video about watchOS 10 and itâs still there. Looks like to get to it, you have to edit the Watch face and thereâs a new section called Night Mode where you can set it to off, on, or auto.

I really wish there was a decent digital watch face. Apple seems to have an aversion to HH:MM:SS, and the large middle space on the Modular watch face doesnât have any decent complications.
