It took me a good month to stop crying every time I listened to this song. I miss Avi a lot, but I'm glad that he's happier.
Yea this vid made me hella sad since it was the first without Avi 😓 but they still killed it and honestly Kevin using the cello was the next best thing as they try and find a new bass for the group. Once again loving the reaction and your energy makes watching these music videos that much better!!! Mad love Dee!! ❤️✌🏻🔥

This is a perfect representation (IMHO) of how the cello was playing the role of Avi. You are a relatively new Pentaholic and haven't been completely caught up in the departure of Avi like some of the other fans. As I watched your reaction, you were so into it (and it may be that you are a massive fan of the song) but I realized you didn't really notice Avi was missing. I was wondering if/when you'd realize it so to see you acknowledge it at the end was perfect. I have felt since this came out that it was their "Goodbye" to Avi. The fact that it really didn't hit you until it was done proves that they can still produce GREAT, transformative songs/arrangements and be the powerhouses that they are. It won't be the same without Avi - it will just be a different version of greatness! Love to see you pop up in my notifications again!!! :-)

This is probably an odd reaction, but I was almost hoping that Pentatonix would end. I'm getting older, and I've started to realize that I'd rather see things end well, with a satisfying feeling, than limp on indefinitely. I'd rather have them put it to bed, leaving us with awesome memories, and then we can follow their individual projects like Sup3rfruit and Kirstin™, then in a few years they have a reunion tour. To me, it's better than swapping out members until the band becomes something we no longer care about and they just fade away. I hope I'm wrong. Maybe this is the start of a new awesome phase.
They are still going strong and Matt had done a wonderful job, even if I love Avi, we could have Ptx and Avi.

Avi's bass is so creamy & smooth. Matt's bass is wonderful but lacks that warmth.
I cried the first 4 times I watched this video cause Abu wasn't in it. But I understand why he left. I will also still follow him. Fin fact. They left a verse out that woukd of been Avi's part so they let the cello have a solo part that would have been Avi's. Another reason was it had something about the music being dead and they didn't wasn't to sing thise words especially when all 5 if them are doing own/duo projects. I live your reaction including your singing. I was singing with and I sound horrible to. But that's okay we can still sing if we want. Thanks for putting a smile in my face.
