1970 Dodge Coronet Super Bee "Bee Resurrected" 505 Big Block 12 Pack

- In this video I visit with a local Hot Rodder that has just finished up His latest project...This 1970 Dodge Coronet Super Bee...Bee Resurrected!!..The first thing that will get your attention about this custom Dodge Coronet Super Bee is the 440 Big Block that has been bored out to 505...Supercharged and is fed by a 12 pack...12 pack???...Yes this Supercharged 505 Big Block is fed by six two barrel carburetors...How cool is that!?!?...This 1970 Dodge Coronet Super Bee is just getting finished so it still needs a little tuning..And the reason that Horse Power numbers were not available at the time of filming of this video...But I think it is safe to say there will be enough horse power to get it down the road...It is a Super Bee..So it is covered in the appropriate yellow paint...It has some custom painted Super Bee logos on the rear quarter panels painted in a gold color...They also used a pearl paint to put some Honey Comb designs throughout the build...There is a BIG MOPAR M on the roof using the same colors....The other paint feature is on the rear deck lid....A mural of the history of this 1970 Dodge Coronet Super Bee...The current owner has had it since He was 15...He has drug his dream car through three different moves...He has had it at multiple shops trying to get it to this point...And now the dream is finally come true!...The interior is all custom high end vinyl and the style and colors they chose work well with this build...This 1970 Dodge Coronet Super Bee is one of a kind for sure....Check it out!!

I really like the paint sceem he did on the car yup everything about the car looks great and hearing the story of what the nightmare of what the owner had to go through to get his childhood car done. Well he got it done right👍🏽

This has got to "Bee" the best Mopar I've seen in a long time! I love the 12-pack on top of the blown 505 Wedge, love the stance and wheels too! I really like the paint with the subtle Super Bee on the quarters but the only thing I didn't care for was the mural on the deckled, it was done really well but it detracts a lot of attention away from the rest of the car, if the mural was toned down a little bit or even done as a monochromatic image in the same gold hues as the Super Bee logo on the quarters. Overall great project car and I bet he's beyond happy driving that around!

While I appreciate the work and creativity of the builder, I don't really like the concept of the car. I mean, you have this huge blower in front of you, which means you won't really drive that car, but just take it to shows. It's totally fine, if that's what the owner wanted. But then why would you put a fancy air ride allowing you to control each corner individually?
Also I don't think resurrection is what happened to that Mopar, if you know what I mean. Anyway, no offence Scottie, I know you're hunting for cool and different looking cars, so as usual you did a great job shooting this one.

Hot American Cars, these cars are more fun than those 0-60 oriented cars!! You will get to cruise slow but in pride. These souped up cars will be great excuse to go out nearby places for fetching groceries, going out for lunch or dinner or so! I think i would have taken it but on Pontiac 67 Grand prix!!
@@ckryses3962 I like all kind of hot rods, not just those built to run the 1/4 mile. I love Mopars a lot, just this particular car, and more specifically the mods are not right. That’s just my opinion :)
Basically a race car show car but bit overkill with 12 pack but to each his own and huge amount of money detail etc so a outrageous custom

Super Bees were pretty rare, because most people bought Roadrunners. I usually prefer the Dodge Super Bee. The 70 models have a very distinctive look. They will not be mistaken for any other year.
