Not 'Bullitt'. They had a bunch of canned effect tracks added during the foley editing process postproduction. The 'Bullitt' car effects weren't even those two cars. The 'Mustang' was a Ford GT40 recorded at a track.
This is why i don't become a p.i. there too much action for couple bucks and come on you should't get in front of car to confront a bad guy who's in gear will cause you so much pain and surfering by driving a malibu too 😂😂.
People either love 'em or hate 'em. Definitely an acquired taste driving around a car that looks pissed all the time. That and the 1959-60 Buick Invicta.
