    The thing I love most about watching all the classic old TV shows on MeTV is seeing all the awesome cars from back in the 1950s, 60, and 70s.

    Can we have a moment for the '59 Olds 98 4 door hardtop that took the cliff dive in place of the Dart?

    I love how Mannix just casually shrugs off the fact, after he slowly pulled away, that someone in another vehicle just pointed a handgun at him

    They made only 548 Cuda convertibles if I recall. Also every time I see the Challenger vs train I think less the movie and more The Fall Guy intro.

      @@gth882 I agree that many advances in medicine for example have come forward and last 50 years. I would say that if you don't like talking to your neighbors and this is much better because 50 years ago my understanding is people back then talk with each other. But the dangers facing our nation's children now is unparalleled in years gone by. Unfortunately it is bound to be worse on years going forward.

      @@CAROLDDISCOVER-FINDER2525 projections can change

    • @CAROLDDISCOVER-FINDER2525
      @CAROLDDISCOVER-FINDER2525 Před 4 měsíci +1

      @@gth882 projections is a psychology term that is exemplified Best by people such as Hillary Clinton. She is generally credited in rifle so with the coining of the phrase right-wing extremist. When in actuality it took 30 years or better for them to come around. They came around and responds to the left-wing extremists have been around for some time. Now they openly operate. Mr Biden is out buying the votes and loyalty of Publix of the United States Of America. Then what will you give me crowd, so I don't have to take or steal it. Projection is easily summed up with what my grandmother used to say. Be careful where you point your finger because you have three more fingers pointing back at yourself. Another more colorful relative would say and you know where the hell your thumb 👍 👎 is pointing up at. All it has a little humor to it but think about the truth behind it. Another example of projection is when a smaller Fringe groups which just wanted to be accepted in as part of the norm. After all what is wrong with being part of the norm? We label their activity as being normal. That is what's wrong. When it is not normal. After all take a look at the gender bender society that they're trying to create. For years they report at people and say you're a phobic of some sort. It is time for the norm to take the power back. Instead of hiding and being afraid of being labeled. After all it's The Fringe groups that have made significant inroads by labeling the real norm. We even use the word Norm because we don't want to say normal. You may have meant something different by projection as far as them changing with time. If so I wouldn't mind hearing what you're deeper thoughts are. The people of the normal are not phobics because they're afraid of homosexuals. They have an agenda and it's going to plan quite well. yeah a couple of their guys were sitting on the beach in Mexico and they were telling me how their supreme Court state case that they had just won was going to advance their cause! They laid it out. You know what the timing has been different than what they planned from time to time. But they've used the courts and any of the legislative body to advance their cause. So there is no phobic in this. There not a phobic situation. It's a true fear and concern about their agenda that should be for everybody else. It's interesting how different groups have combined at times to help themselves but also it helps the other groups that team up with. First of all we let them steal the rainbow. Which is the promise of God. Wake up clinically dead and then come back and tell me there isn't a life after this. It definitely is. Also we can go back to present Wilson who was the first openly progressive president that we have had. That's $100 or so years ago. Just from that point we can start laying out the map work of those who use projection against a majority. Now that the watered down the majority to a smaller number by these groups growing such as illegal aliens. When they come here legally they're not immigrants. My family didn't slither across a dried up a river depend on where you come across the Rio Grande River. I would say predictions for the future do change. Predictions and projections differ in definition. So as my grandfather used to say, is this a can of worms you intended to open? I can point out a number of projections from the left have help them gain power over time by one method or another. My original statement still stands. And the world ain't no better today 50 years later. That was a reference to at least in part, the violence we still face today. Now unless you're one of these individuals on the left side of the fence, then none of this was directed towards you personally. It's just simply a reply to your reply. I obviously found your short reply very interesting 🤔. Especially the origins and what meaning you associated with your reply. Thank you, I truly look forward to your reply. If you care to make another one.

    The roofline from the car that goes over the cliff is a '59 Ford Fairlane, hardtop example.

  • @michaelwitas9482
    @michaelwitas9482 Před 10 měsíci +2

    The car that went off the cliff looks like it was something else besides a Dart, like maybe a 1959 Ford or similar car.

      I think it was a 59 Ford. This sequence could have been an intentional slam at Richard Diamond, Private Detective. TV writers are so sneaky like that!

      I think it was a '59 Ford too. You can sort of see the wrap around rear window and the tail fin. Unfortunately, there is too much dust over the underside of the car when it rolls over to see the frame.

      According to Mike Connors, they did a single take and copped a fine as the director felt that a single shot would be better than doing the scene a few times over with safer placements of the players.
