Nothing weird about kids doing random activities then when music starts to play they all just randomly and creepily pop their heads up to sing all at the same time!! This was pretty standard practice for Christian Children’s shows like Psalty & Colby as well

My brother and I used to watch this every week growing up in the Caribbean in the 80s and 90s. I even wrote them a letter once and they sent me a package with the Circle Square song book. Some "trolls" on CZcams make fun at some of the clips but this show actually had a lot of good advice and scenarios for kids. The cartoon clips in the show were also very insightful easy to understand.

I had these VHS tapes too, but I can't say I enjoyed everything it was cramming into my head. I certainly never forgot it though.
I grew up in the area where the show was produced. Friends and colleagues have gone to work with the organization that made the show. It's a very creepy Christian fundamental show. And worthy of ridicule. Oh and I worked with Marci (not directly) at my previous company.

When I was in middle school I can remember going to the local lodge, singing in unison with the other kids, putting puzzles together, and reading books. Those were the days.

The entire choreography of this show consisted of the kids either pointing at themselves or the camera.
