The recency bias in MMA is so incredible. Rogan especially was calling it the greatest KO of all time. Dana saying similar here.
What about the litany of shock KOs FOR A TITLE!? Matt Sera's upset, the more recent Leon Edwards come from behind victory of Usman...which has started his impressive ongoing reign as champ? Somehow THIS was better???
Anyways, i dont think it is FOTY worthy. It was too one sided. Had it been more even i would agree, but it really was just Gaethje getting demolished for 5 rounds.
