Brilliant footage of a very accomplished mixed terrain climber. Always amusing to consider how much pro athletes (football, basketball) are compensated when in fact their accomplishments pale to insignificance with soloing at this level.
Ummmm, the roof at 3:35 at first he has no gloves, then he has one on his right, then it's off again. Camera cuts away 4 times. Still awesome but I'm not sure this was a true solo ascent
Steve is honest, he wouldn't do that. They probably decided that the video would be better if it didn't include him putting on and taking off gloves as he tried to get an optimal jam in that crack so they decided to cut that part out
